Such a beautiful hotel, in a quiet location. The room was stunning - spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated, with everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious- a varied selection, catering for all tastes. The garden is wonderful oasis, away from the hustle and bustle of the centre of the town, but only ten minutes walk away. Our hosts were lovely - caring, professional and very polite. We couldn’t have wished for a better experience. If we return to Montepulciano, we would definitely return to this hotel. Thank you!

We didn't book a room in advance, we "dropped in unexpectedly", but Niccolo was very helpful and friendly. We went from one amazement to another. The hotel garden would be in any movie day or night. The tasteful colour of the rooms, the uniqueness of the furniture mixed with the modern world's tools amazed us. The breakfast is sophisticated and not only Italian breakfast lovers will find something to their liking. During our stay there, we also felt special. It is close to the historic city centre, for which we were given a map and lots of good advice. If you're in the area, don't miss it. Thanks for the experience!

Beautiful serene place. Location provided easy walking access to the town, avoiding the congestion in Montepulciano. Staff were very pleasant while breakfast was great.

Checkin was disturbing in that we were told we had already checked in and left. Not true and was resolved. However we were led to “our” room where confusion still reigned as it was clear the prior occupants had not vacated. Over the next hour or so this was also resolved. After that auspicious start things improved.

The location of the hotel was just perfect, close to the historical center and the beautiful nature. Breakfast was very good, good variety of food. Ladies were preparing a tasty coffee. The owner of the hotel was quite helpful, provided his recommendations around, booked a table in a restaurant and helped to buy nice homemade olive oil. Grazie mille! Definitely we will be back. We liked the nature around and the facility itself, very cosy!

Enjoyed a delicious buffet breakfast, with great selections. Owners were very friendly, and when asked for suggestions for dinner, we ate at both and they were wonderful. Decor was charming.

The bathroom was rather small, but I really wasn't expecting a very big bathroom in such a small hotel. Looking at the map on the internet, I thought it was closer to town and did not realize to get into town was uphill walk, but we got used to it.

A lovely, thoughtfully furnished villa hotel set in beautiful countryside within walking distance of Montepulciano. Niccolo and his parents were very welcoming and helpful, and his mother's breakfast is exceptionally good: by far the best cornettos and cakes we had eaten during our holiday in Italy. Niccolo provided excellent advice on local shopping. Good, safe parking. We appreciated the reading space outside our room, with its gorgeous view over the garden, and the interesting books provided. We look forward to staying again.

A minor suggestion: it would be worth using warmer coloured LEDs in the bedroom we occupied.

Gorgeous setting. Outdoor seating in the garden (beware mosquitos). The rooms are designed to share a common sitting area with another room, our sitting area had a terrace. Each room had a tea setting to use. Rooms and bathrooms are nice size. The location is great to visit the old city if you don’t mind a walk. The old city is quite touristy - though some amazing views - and so we were happy to walk and not be staying inside the city walls. Breakfast was standard. Parking is available and free.

The walls are very thin and unfortunately my bedroom was next to another room’s bathroom so I could hear everything happening in their bathroom. I’d suggest asking for a room that doesn’t sit adjacent to another room.

The grounds and facility are so beautiful it brought tears to my eyes. It is impeccably clean and manicured. We walked one km to a vineyard that has a view that goes for miles. The walk to the city on the hill was also very tolerable. The staff are very attentive and helpful. We've been all over Europe and our time here far surpasses any other experience. I would have willingly spent much more for this stay. I will never forget it

There was nothing negative about our stay.

The property was in a nice quiet location close to Montepulciano town. We chose to drive up towards town as the walk is uphill, but you could walk it as well. The buildings and grounds were very well kept, decor was beautiful, and the staff were very welcoming. Had a wonderful breakfast which was served in a lovely breakfast room. The location is great, the breakfast was delicious (brilliant selection, lovely cappuccinos and nice atmosphere) and the owners are so friendly and kind. It is great value for money and the property and grounds are stunning. I’d recommend you walk 15 minutes out of the town to La Locanda di Godiolo and try their wine tasting set lunch menu/enjoy a home cooked meal in the evening.
