Absolutely beautiful building, don't be fooled by graffiti on the large external door. Once you step through the door you leave the noise behind and enter a peaceful oasis. Our room was huge, a lovely mix of old and new. Our host Hilton was outstanding and a real pleasure to deal with. We requested to be able to check in our luggage earlier than check in time and this was no problem. As our room was ready we were able to check in early also. The building is located in a fabulous area with a lovely Piazza with lots of restaurants just outside. It is also about 5 minutes walk from Piazza Dante & Dante Metro station making it very handy to get to.

Nothing - everything was great. Loved the accomodation & we loved Naples and will definitely return for a longer trip next time.

I booked a suite and it was stunning. Very beautifully decorated in traditional Italian style. My room overlooked the square. Tea and coffee facilities available in the room and fridge was stocked with beer and water. The old fashioned lift was very quaint and you needed 10c to operate it. The hotel is reached through a courtyard which had doors which were closed and opened with your key. I absolutely loved this place and will definitely come back!

Nothing. Reception was not manned but the hotel owner/operator was available at all times via WhatsApp and he was very helpful with restaurant suggestions and accommodating any requests.

Location, location, location. This place was literally so perfectly located, from the incredible views from every single window of the room, to the amazing bars and restaurants that were only a few steps away. we were only here for a night, but everything about this place felt so comfortable, welcoming and just stunning. If you want to feel like you’re staying in a small piece of history and getting the full expert of Naples this is it!

The only piece of criticism I’ll have for this entire place is the pillows on the bed. It might seem kind of silly, but the pillows were quite literally hard as rocks. Both my husband and I ended up having to sleep without a pillow for the night (after not being able to sleep very well with that, I ended up using my airplane pillow.) as I said, this is not the make or break it for this place, the facilities were excellent otherwise and we would definitely returned here for our next Naples visit!

Excellent location in a lively neighborhood with restaurants and bars nearby, close to everything and easy to get to the iconic places in Naples.The room we were given was big very comfortable and quiet. Hilton our host was great always available to us and assisted us with everything we needed. Really a nice stay. Definitely I recommend this hotel.

The breakfast included with the room should be improved to basic and the bathroom lights system that turns off automatically every two seconds is annoying specially if you are shaving or getting ready.

Excellent location! Right in the middle of Spaccanapoli (city centre) and close to all the main sites and amenities. The room was very spacious and had everything we needed. We had a small issue with the room temperature and the person dealing with it was super professional and sorted it pretty quickly.

Check-in was done in a hurry and missed a few important pieces of information that could have avoided the small problem with the temperature in the room (see above). The shower head splashes everywhere - it might just need a limescale remover treatment - but it was a shame because the shower has lots of potential.

Very spacious room in a fantastic location. Very good bathroom. And very quiet - particularly given its right on the Piazza. Lots of restaurants around and taxis are always in the Piazza. Highly recommend.

The sensor lights in the bathroom are a bit annoying.. The radiator was also a bit intermittent. And the bed base was a bit smaller than the mattress. Breakfast was pretty basic - fine if you like sweets. But these were pretty minor things. Note the lift sometimes requires 10c to operate, but there are coins in the reception so it's not an issue.

I love this little hotel. It is full of character, centrally located in the historic quarter, and a fantastic starting point for many attractions I wanted to see, as they were within walking distance. This is my second stay at the Dimora Donna Elena, and Hilton was our primary contact during this stay. He was incredibly helpful, providing many recommendations for museums and eating out and helping with any additional ad hoc requests.

Staff was super friendly and the room was spacious. It was located in an area that was walkable to a lot of sites and great food.

The caffe they partner with for breakfast for their guests is subpar. The service was very unfriendly and made negative remarks in Italian they assumed we couldn’t understand. The food was also awful. This is obviously not the fault of the hotel, and in hindsight I should have just paid for breakfast elsewhere..

A beautiful Neapolitan townhouse, carefully renovated to a high standard with luxurious touches like monogrammed bed linen. It was a haven of peace in the heart of Naples yet only a few yards away was the exciting craziness that makes a visit to Naples unlike any other Italian city I've been to. Very comfy, effective Aircon and soundproofing, spacious and elegant.

Giorgio was there to let us in and was courteous and welcoming but after that we had no contact with any staff. The room was luxurious but needed a little maintenance, one light fitting in the bathroom did not work, another came on automatically but went out just as quickly, leaving you cleaning your teeth in the dark. Overall though, these are minor points in an otherwise delightful stay.

Great location right at spacconapoli entrance. Piazza was always busy and safe. We were able to walk everywhere in the city. Despite location very quiet rooms. Feels like you are staying in a true Napolitan home. Room was extremely spacious with everything you need, just as in the photos with modern bathroom. Facility was very helpful and allowed us to check in early and leave our bags. Great value for money and will stay again.

There's no 24 hour reception if that's important to you but we knew that going in.
