The room was big, clean and comfortable. The bed was great and the breakfast was generous and delicious. The shower had great water pressure. The receptionist spoke English which was very helpful too. Our car was stored in a garage for €5 which was awesome as it was accessible internally, directly under our room. It was close to the tram to Orvieto (if you don't have a car), and there are plenty of restaurants and a delicious gelato shop just round the corner. We had a room with a balcony which was lovely.

It wasn't a problem for us at all, lbut be aware it's located on a steep road. The angle of shower head in our room meant the water poured out under the shower door.

Fantastic value! Our room was spotless. Pillows and beds were very comfortable. Staff was so friendly, helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was a buffet of several fresh pastries, meat, cheese, hard boiled eggs, cereal. The walk from the train takes just a few minutes, but it’s up an incline. There’s not a lot to see near the hotel, but the funicular is very close and takes you up to the top of the hill where the little town of Orvieto overlooks the Italian countryside. There’s a pizzeria a few minutes from the hotel where we ate dinner. We stored our luggage inside the hotel until our train left in the afternoon. Overall this hotel had everything we needed and we would definitely stay here again.

The room was huge! Bedroom with bathroom and tv. Living room with an additional beds another tv. Kitchenette with a fridge and kettle. Patio with four chairs. Easy walk to and from the train or funicular. The hotel road is on the same path to walk up to the city center instead of the funicular. It’s a well marked by cobble stone at the end of the road. The path is easy if you hike at all but is totally doable if you don’t just take your time :)

Good location, friendly staff, clean, comfortable.

They came in to “clean” after our first night which I was not expecting so my clothes and stuff were everywhere, which means really they just re made the bed with the sheets we had already used, and decided to discard the soap we were using but not replace it… since we were only there for two nights I would have rather have liked the option to just not have that service, or have the forewarning I would have at least tidied up my sprawl of stuff.

Because of the off season, the room appeared to be upgraded to a wider family type from a double bed type that we had reserved, so we could stay more comfortably than we had thought. Breakfast was nice and enough.

One point we were embarrased was the checkin time that was set into a narrow time range, being 13 to 20 pm, though it was informed on the web site. You cannot drop your luggage before the checkin time, but the hotel keeps your luggage after your checkout. Location is very close to the railway station.

The staff was very helpful in giving us suggestions for dinner, 24 hour parking recommendations for 1 euro, what to see in Orvieto, how best to get there. The breakfast was ample and delicious. We stayed in the “new” building across the road from the one listed. Room opened onto a lovely shared terrace. Secure underground parking for 5 euro. one of our favourite towns to visit!

Not a negative, but if you don’t have a car, it is a hike into Orvieto up a very steep unlit road and the funicular stops at 8:30 pm The shower needs updating. The rain shower head could use a good cleaning as it dripped water when we hadn’t even used it. A bit odd….

Really nice little hotel with super friendly staff. If the funicular is running is super easy to get up into the old town. It's a 5 min walk and a 5 min ride up. It stops at 8.30 though. We asked if we could walk back and the woman at reception laughed and gave us times for the bus. We tried to walk it anyway. Was kinda fine, took about 30 min and you'll need a torch or phone flashlight and google maps. Like a mini adventure. Bus would probably been more sensible. Orvieto is great. The Basilica is amazing - like a baroque Mario Botta.

Location was 250 metres' walk from the railway station. Breakfast was superb. Staff were lovely and welcoming. We particularly appreciated their efforts to meet our request for almond milk, which they don't normally do. We would like to go back if the opportunity arose.

Nothing to criticise. They followed opening times of booking.com even though they advertise their own as 1600-2000.

The staff were very friendly and the rooms were in older buildings, but well-maintained and charming (wood floors and furniture, nice decor). Our room (and it appeared several others as well) had a large terrace to enjoy the small town ambiance. Breakfast was delightful.

The hotel is a short way up a steep road from the Orvieto station. Not a big deal, but be prepared if you have luggage.

I loved this hotel! It's family run and literally 2 minute walk from the train station. Big spacious clean room, hot water, great breakfast, superrrrr friendly staff, accessible to the old town / city center / Duomo di Orvieto via the funicular or the bus. I highly recommend the hotel, do not hesitate to book.

Nothing, absolutely loved my stay!
