Walking distance from historical city center, free parking on the street, very kind and helpful host, coffee and tea available in the lobby, great choice of breakfast. Host is paying attention to food allergies, which is a very big plus!

Weather was a little bit chilly, and there was no heating in the room (AC is for cooling only). In the shower water temperature was not consistent.

The breakfast was delicious, typical Sicilian colazzione. The owner brought it daily in the room and had so many options to choose from. Very organized and prepared with care and love. My sister and I felt very comfortable and safe. The owner prepared a map to make it easy to walk around the city. The room was spotless and Maurizio used to pick up the rubbish every day, so it felt like home. The room got a tv and it helps to relax during the night to watch Italian programs. I truly recommend the B&B and for sure when visiting Palermo, we will stay there again.

B&B Amistanza is clean & comfortable, conveniently located and has exceptionally friendly & welcoming hosts. To start, they messaged me upon my arrival to Palermo offering tips how to access the property from the airport (train to Palermo Lolli + 5 mins walk) or bus to Castelnuovo / Politeama + 15 mins walk). Maurizio then greeted me upon my arrival and kindly explained what to see and where to go for authentic street food. There are three rooms at B&B Amistanza. I stayed in Beatrice, which was renovated in early 2022. The room had a comfortable double bed plus a single bed, small fridge, and a table and chairs where breakfast was served. The room also opened up to a balcony that had new doors and shutters that were easy to operate. The bathroom had a shower, toilette and bidet with and a window. As mentioned, breakfast was served in the room. There is a menu that you use to select your preferred options including the time that you’d like breakfast. I opted for fresh fruits and either a croissant or pastry each day. One day I left before breakfast was served and the hosts kindly left a plate of fruits and a dessert for me to enjoy upon my return. It was exactly what I needed after a long day with a lot of walking! There is a tea kettle and mini coffee maker in the common area. The tea is free and the coffee is offered for a small fee. Also, B&B Amistanza was renovated two years ago and is located in a residential neighborhood with many shops and services / restaurants within a few minutes walk. If you’re visiting Palermo for tourism, B&B Amistanza is within 10-15 minute walk or else short bus or train ride to the tourist areas - close to the action and yet able to escape from the tourist area afterwards. It was a true local experience! Last but not least, the hosts - Antonella and Maurizio - were extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating. They made me feel at home and very welcomed. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights between the 16th and 18th July. The apartment was very clean, nicely furnished and had everything we needed for our stay in Palermo. It was about a 10 minute walk to the actual centre, where all of the bars and restaurants were located, so it was easy enough to get to these places on foot. The host provided a lovely breakfast each morning which was brought to your room at the time you requested. The hosts were also very good at communicating through whatsapp messages, answering any queries when required, so no problems there either.

A place in old buildings, but nice and comfortable. We managed to sightseeing full Palermo on foot from this site. The host arrange for us a payed parking place in the vicinity.

The street does not look very nice with old buildings and car traffic. Driving a car in Palermo is not the best idea.

Breakfast was okay, I could choose from several options. Also, I arrived after 8 pm, but after I called the owners they were there to let me in in 5 minutes, it was very nice of them.

The street was a bit load during the night. And I couldn't order transfer for some reason, but the owners let me know how to get there with train from the airport, so it was ok.

Absolutely fantastic stay. The owners were great, everything was efficient. Cannot recommend more. Love it.

The host is very nice. The room is big and clean. The breakfast is great. The location is not to far from city center. They have elevator so no problem with luggage.

The staff was very kind, very friendly and helpful. Upon check-in, we were fully guided through the city's attractions and points of interest. They also gave us a map of the city as well as a corresponding book with the sights.
