Great location very peaceful yet not far from a town or plenty of beaches. The evening meals were excellent we ate there every night and found them and the wine etc reasonably priced without the need to go out using the car. The room we had was spacious and comfortable with all the facilities you would expect. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

A little bit difficult for us to wheel the suit cases over the gravel paths, but we managed - just that a smooth path from car parking to reception would have been helpful.

Very nice resort with good facilities. The swimming pool and outdoor bar is a great spot to relax at the sunset. Dinner at the restaurant was good quality and worth the price. Very comfortable room. Small and confidential resort making you feeling cosy and in holidays. Nice team and easy checkout with kind attention. Great hospital!

It’s shame that the bat at the swimming pool closed early at 7pm. It’s the perfect time for drinks and sunset, especially when you check in late afternoon….

What a find, this property is - absolutely delightful set amongst the vines it’s quiet and tranquil . Our room was modern and very clean with a balcony overlooking the vineyard . Staff were super helpful , nothing was too much trouble , so very friendly can’t praise them enough. Breakfast was superb , we also used their restaurant - food was excellent as was the wine they make from their vines. So good we brought a bottle of wine and some of their olive oil home with us. Loved the pool could actually ‘swim lengths’ .

Upon arrival, we were upgraded to a king suite (Grano) which was lovely and enjoyed the afternoon lounging by the amazing pool. The hotel is in the country so it was extremely peaceful with birds singing and a view of the ocean, olive trees and vineyards. We enjoyed dinner at the property on the terrace. Upon departure we purchased some wine and were given a complementary third bottle to enjoy.

Was asked what table I wanted to reserve for dinner and upon arrival, we were in a different location behind a pillar.

We stayed at Borgo Giallonardo after visiting the Valley of the Temples, about 30 minutes away. Driving to Borgo Giallonardo and leaving the main road, you begin to focus on the ‘country-side,’ leaving the villages behind. Driving through the estate gate, you’ll see the hotel perched on a slight rise, facing low hills and the ocean a short distance away. After a warm greeting at check-in, but before heading for our room, we were offered a beverage and nosh and invited to rest in the mood-lit lobby overlooking the front lawn and scenery. This as a short, by welcomed break between driving and unpacking. Our room was comfortable, the bathroom was huge and we had double doors leading to a private patio. We quickly changed into our bathing suits and headed to the pool where we found an attendant available to fill beverage orders. When reserving our room, we also made dinner reservations. Our table was on the covered patio, facing the scenery. The meal and ambiance was outstanding. Tables are spaced to maintain a private conversation, but by desert we were engaged in a fun conversation with a young German couple.

We could have used, and should have asked for, a luggage rack... I'm sure it could have been provided. BUT, our only regret was staying only 1-night at Borgo Giallonardo.

The beautiful sunsets, 500 year old olive tree, magnificent pool, excellent bar and dinner service, quiet location out of Agrigento were all big ticks for me. Perfect for a 2 night stay for us.

Could have replaced the bottled water after the first night.

Beautiful resort with very kind and helpful staff. Everything was very clean. We had the rooms on the top floor with a very nice view on the hills with the olive trees and the sea at the back. The rooms were very spacious with large terrace with sitting area. We also enjoyed our dinner in the restaurant. Everything was delicious and definitely to try😊

Excellent breakfast buffet with omelette or scrambled egg available to order as well as coffee/cappuccinos to order. We stayed in one of the King Suites which was incredibly spacious and comfortable. The grounds are stunning and we felt so relaxed during our stay, the pool area is also amazing and you can order lunch and drinks to there. It is only 15 minute walk to La Spiagga beach and a short drive to the bay of sirens. It is also only 10 minutes to Realmonte for restaurants and the stairs of the turks and 5 minutes to Siculiana for restaurants. The valley of the temples is 30-40 minutes depending on traffic. We ate on site one night and the food was delicious, although rather pricey at 38 euros per person. Restaurant recommendations: Siculiana: La Giara and Maioliche Bistro Realmonte: Osteria dei Folli

Evening menu was not very varied, a lot of the same ingredients every night, if it had been more varied we would have definitely eaten there more. I think there's a problem with the electrical wiring as the switches were unpredictable and would switch different light on/off every time, including the downstairs lights and some stopped working altogether.

The place is like an oasis in the middle of nowhere. The beach (La Spiagetta) nearby is awesome. The hotel is a great place to relax and just chill by the pool. The breakfast includes loads of fresh fruits, scrambled eggs, sausages, bread, focaccia, all kinds of sweet pastries and youghurt.

If you have to find something; The service was a bit slow during the dinner and when ordering drinks by the pool.

A beautiful and quiet place to relax. The room was very spacious and well equipped with all the comforts. Nice pool with a few sunbeds and also there is a small beach nearby if you want to swim at the sea (it gets very crowded during the weekends though)

The pool could stay open for a bit longer (closes at 19:00), as the evening is the best time to enjoy it when there is not so much heat. I also think that the room was a bit overpriced (although it was one of the best rooms of the hotel). 240 euros for a single night is too much for Sicily/ Agrigento (and not during high season).
