It was beautiful. The setting and location were so much more than we’d hoped for.

That smokers were allowed to smoke near the breakfast/pool area. We had a room with a window overlooking this area and there was a guest every morning smoking and coughing outside our room so despite wanting to open the window/door, we didn’t.

We enjoyed staying in this resort. The resort and all of equipment was clean and comfy, the staff was really nice and service was great. We had one dinner in their restaurant and it was ok. Other dinner we went to the town Roccastrada (3km by walk) and found the fish restaurant In Borgo. Once you visit Roccastrada, you have to go to eat there. The best fish restaurant we ever have been in. The breakfast in the resort was delicious, many sweets, joghurt and saulty choice was available as well. If you look for perfect relax, calm place and to do norhing, then this place is perfect with you.

The aircondition did not work properly. There is a central system of aircondition in whole resort but there was hot in the room.

Resort loction is very special - away from everything, which brings you to natural outcomes - no rush, quiet and "lazy". At the same time you can enjoy with picturecque views from the resort, pool, or take a ride by car as there are a lot of old villages to see - no crowds, you can meet a local people and see their daily life and enjoy it. Very nice pool with sunbeds around. Italian kind of breakfastm, but absolutely enough. Very responsive personell - all your wishes will be satisfied. Nice restaurant.

Restaurant could start working at 7 pm, just to give the stomach a bit more time before the bed, but this is very individually.

This was a lovely place to stay for our out of season rural stopover or a longer romantic break. The good sized bed(s) , room and bathroom were beautiful and had everything for a relaxing stay. In our room was even underfloor heating which was brilliant and made the room cozy even when cool outside. The host was very helpful (although unassuming) with every request although busy with many tasks (check in & kitchen assist?) The other staff were very friendly and efficient (especially at breakfast) and there was a very good breakfast selection (included with our room price) The quality furnishings , room , beds and location were fabulous for this price. It is obviously a challenge to provide every service (Wifi) in this rural location but overall this is a fabulous location and resort if you want this style of rural accommodation.

We only stayed overnight driving around Italy out of season so we knew the pool was unavailable but it looked very good. The BIG issue (as previous reviews) is the poor (or non existent) Wifi. It was explained by staff that it is a rural location and there have been many attempts to solve this but it seems it is still the main issue they have for longer stays.

Nice rooms, cleaned every day. The breakfast was good, not extremely varied, but good for a short stay. The location is a little far from everything, so you definetelly need a car. The dinner restaurant was good and the staff was lovely. A little bit pricey though. Overall, good for a nice, relaxing short stay.

The wifi was slow

the location is far away so there is no car and city noise. The pool and view are beautiful. It was pleasant to lie on the sun loungers by the pool and accompanied by pleasant music. The design of the rooms and the hotel is nice. The breakfast was fine and we didn't eat dinner but there is a nice looking restaurant for dinner if you need to.

Ideal for a relaxing stay in an isolated location. The pool was great for a warm summer afternoon and the spa was a nice addition to our stay - including jacuzzi, sauna and turkish bath.

The room was a bit warm and felt humid.

The facilities were first rate and everyone was very pleasant and helpful. The countryside is beautiful, but both Google Map and a paper map are recommended.

My dinner meal at Il Canto was disappointing. This is not a slight against the server, who was charming.

beautiful room and excellent breakfast, very peaceful setting

Spa service a little lacking, booked a massage & private spa Massage was excellent but no glasses for water, no hot water for herbal teas, had to find staff to ask them to turn on the spa facilities, over priced for the service received

La Melosa is absolutely wonderful - there is so much peace and quiet you can find there for a real rest. The breakfast was amazing, the hotel restaurant was also great if you don't feel like driving anywhere to go to dinner. The room was so cozy, and the small private garden to it was wonderful to have a glass of wine while enjoying the song of the crickets - pretty much the only noise you can hear around. Absolutely recommend it!
