If you expect or want some modern accomodation, this will probably not gonna be it. But if you prefer cleanness over modern style, you want to stay in a calm residential area close to Vatican and reachable with public transport to the city centre, this might be your place to stay. The rooms are simple but have everything you need including bathroom and toilet, wifi and balcony (not sure if all of them but we had it). Also the nuns are very nice and helpful and I really appreciated that they understood that I want to practice my Italian even though I speak it poorly :)

One small improvement could be offer something salty for breakfast as well as not everyone is a fan of sweet breakfasts (me included). However, I understand that Italians tend to have sweet breakfast but as an accomodation for also non-Italians, I think it would be appreciated not only by me.

Very clean, quiet. The nuns are like angels, very kind, I just wanted to hug them all for their kindness Excellent location. Bus 46 goes directly to the center of Rome and stops in front of the hotel

The breakfast is chic - a lot of pastries, croissants, muesli, yoghurts, jams, honey, coffee, juices and much more. But breakfast consists only of sweet pastries and starchy foods. I am diabetic and almost nothing can be eaten from this. I think I should add boiled eggs and cheese or ham for people who can't eat sweets.

Nice basic room that was quite spacious, especially the bathroom which was really practical. Breakfast was good, had a buffet style of different pastries, hot drinks, and yoghurt. Located in a gated community where you have to buzz in to be let in, so the area is clean and safe

Staff - friendly and helpful Location - walkable distance to Vatican (for people love walking). Close to metro and bus station. Have a small market and restaurant open till late nearby. Facility - stayed another building that has a lift. Only and first place providing breakfast at this price. I saw some people complained about breakfast, but honestly speaking, it was a decent breakfast; and I loved it.

Location - need to enter a block of buildings and search - could be greater if further information was provided eg. How to find the reception among the buildings Facility - Need a bit more information eg. how to leave the building. Later, I learnt that this is very common in Italy but struggled to find a way out from main building Shower head holder was broken - i am short so didn't have much issue with me

It is located in a semi-quieter part of Rome within walking distance of the Vatican and plenty of public transport options (metro and buses) to get into the main city. Daily cleaning is provided and there are many food/grocery/laundry/cafe options around. It is in a gated estate and the staff are very nice/welcoming and attentive. The breakfast was simple but great, juices/cereal/ coffee machines/baked goods and fresh deli meats & cheese, good for the price.

I consider myself great with directions but this place was pretty hard to find and I wasn’t provided with check-in instructions, which would’ve been helpful. As stated, it’s in a gated estate and you need to buzz a doorbell to be let in, then you still need to find the building (that part is a bit easier once you’re inside the gate) I would’ve really appreciated a photo of the doorbell/gate that I need to check into as I got a bit lost while carrying my bags, making the check-in slightly stressful. Also, my bed was extremely creaky and there is barely any soundproofing. Not a problem as I had great neighbours but I did feel conscious of any noice I was making.

Very reasonable price and well connected to public transport. It was a mere 6 min walk away from the metro station and it took only 22 mins door to door to the city centre or Termini. There were also excellent direct buses to take you to the city centre too. It was about 30 mins walk from Vatican. Check in was easy and they were very accommodating. They said their check in closes at 11pm but we got unexpectedly delayed by the Italian trains and they were extremely gracious about us coming at 1140pm (after calling them in advance of course). Breakfast every morning was a large selection of sweet pastries, yogurt, ham, cheese and there was a coffee machine. The hotel is run by nuns and they are accepting of everyone. The room was spacious. Shower was excellent to use. WiFi worked perfectly. We would happily stay again if we were in Rome.

Room decor was a bit dated but it very clean. The bed was slightly firmer than I would have liked but that was a minor issue.

Very clean. It was a daily cleaning in my room and toilet. Not big comfort, but decent. Close to bus station and metro station, easy access to downtown. The personal was very polite and ready to help. Warm with the air conditioner end November.

This is a help for those who arrive at the property after dark, is a little tricky. At the gate there is a door man. If he is not there, see for the interphone where you will find a button with the property name „Casa Piccole ..." Push that button and they will open the gate for you. Then go: down on the slope, left, right, left again. Look at left and you will see the main building of Casa, is the second or third on the left hand.

This is an old building which was built to high standard at its time, marble and tiled floors, solid furniture etc. Accommodation was basic, but spotless clean and sufficient. Breakfast was basic, mostly sweet variety of pastry, no eggs, cheese. Great selection of juices. Of course good coffee from a proper machine, what one would expect in Italy. Pleasant helpful staff. Entry is bit hidden (diagonally across small church), then just follow signs in the complex to find entrance to the actual hotel building. Our room had quiet A/C, possibly all rooms have. This seemed to be cheapest place in the area 5 bus stops from Vatican (almost walking distance), so one should not expect 4 star accommodation.

Separate beds are small, narrow, by North American standard. Mattresses bit soft/older. No 04 room gets noisy in the morning, stair is near.

The accommodation was exactly what I expected. It was basic but clean, comfortable and in a safe location. A full breakfast was included. A private single room with attached bathroom here cost less than a shared bunk in a mixed dormitory near the Termini station. I would definitely stay again.

This is no fault of the property but it was a bit of a challenge to find. The bell /gate is actually quite close to the traffic light but then has a long windy parking lot to get to reception. Google maps kept trying to take me down a route that didn't exist and I was worried until a local walked me to the gate and showed me where to ring the bell.

The experience is a bit different from the normal hotel experience since you will find nuns running the place with religious relics all over the place. The room was very clean and had air conditioning. Breakfast was available from 7:15-9:00 every morning (expect it to be quite sweet with cakes and biscuits). The place was very quiet and there is a vending machine with cheap drinks and snacks.

The place was a bit hard to find upon arrival. Since there was no 24h reception, I was worried on the day of checkout since reception opens from 6:30-23:00 and I had to be at the airport earlier and initially thought I needed the key to open the front gate. However, some of the staff spoke English and cleared everything up by telling me to leave the keys at the front desk and press the small white button (on the light pole) near the gate to open from the inside. This, however, was not so clear to me on the first day and I didn't get so much information on my arrival.
