Breakfast was great, continental style. Everyone was friendly and it was a quiet location within an easy walk to transport and the Colosseum. I would recommend it as a safe place for solo travellers. It’s run by Franciscan nuns, bear this in mind if you’re looking for a different vibe.

Breakfast could be much better if there are hot food for breakfast like fried egg instead of hard boiled egg or hot sausage, or hot bacon or ham.

We found staying at Casa San Giuseppe perfect for our stay in Rome. All the staff are very helpful. They helped us out by WhatsApp when we needed information on which metro station to use to get back to the premises. The breakfast was perfect to start the day. We also found it a quiet and spiritual place stay. The beds were comfortable with a soft and a hard pillow for different needs. We will stay there next time we go to Rome and we will recommend to our friends

For the price you pay this place is a fair deal, it's super clean, I liked the location although it's a bit far from the city center but I prefer this better as it's quiet, safe, and has shops a d restaurants around. The staff was kind, bed sheets very clean. The room was very big for a single bed, breakfast was ok nothing fancy but will do. Overall, I'm happy with the place.

The only thing I didn't like was the air conditioner, it's loud but if you lower the fan it gets better, and the blanket was not like regular hotel blankets so I didn't use it.

Thank goodness for air conditioning! My room was pre-cooled before my arrival which I greatly appreciated. (I travelled in mid-July). I am very grateful to the staff member who stayed until very late to welcome me for check-in due to my flight having been delayed. It was very easy to contact them prior to arriving and they were also available on WhatsApp which was helpful. The facilities were good and although minimalist I had everything I needed. In terms of location, it is fairly close to San Giovanni and Re Di Roma metro stations, and it's not too far to walk to the Colosseum, even in summer. Everyone was so friendly, I had a lovely stay.

It was a little bit far from the main touristic areas in the city, although very easily accessible by bus and metro. The room had only one electrical socket for me to use but I feel that that's a minor point.

The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was delicious! The bathroom and room were very clean! I had a lot of luggage and the elevator made it easy to move it around. The area around the hotel is very quiet and residential, but there are restaurants everywhere so you can eat late in the evening. There are shops right in front of the hotel so you can buy anything you need. From the airport it takes about 30-40 minutes by taxi. It's a quick bus ride to the Colosseum and the center of Rome. There is a bus stop about 3 minutes away. If you take bus 628, you can reach the Colosseum in 10-15 minutes. The Vatican is a bit farther away. It takes about 40 to 50 minutes by bus. The subway is a bit faster. It takes about 15-20 minutes by taxi to get to Termini Station. It took a little longer because a lot of Rome is under construction at the moment. It's a bit far from the airport, so if you're a traveler with a lot of luggage, you should definitely take a taxi! I still recommend it though. I would definitely stay here again.

Exceptionally clean and quiet hotel. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The included breakfast was excellent. This is probably the best value in Rome. The rooms are simple, but super clean and comfortable. It is located in a very quiet neighborhood, away from the noisy mobs of tourists in other parts of the city.

I liked that it was close to a number of places I wanted to see, such that I could walk to and from there fairly easily. The staff I interacted with were all friendly.

I found the shower a little small for me; I fit in the stall, but only just, and it meant I had to do a lot of squatting more than bending. I think that’s common in Europe to have smaller sized showers, but it does make it harder. I also wasn’t able to get the air conditioning to go down enough, but luckily I was able to have the room somewhat cooler with the windows open while I was there.

Newly refurbished Catholic guest house located inside a convent. We were the very first guests in our room on December 31, 2024. Rooms were practical, quiet, and spotless. Wonderful water pressure in the shower and strong internet. Excellent location for those looking for peace and quiet in one of the less busy areas of central Rome rather than tourists looking to party. The staff were very friendly and helpful as one would anticipate with this type of accommodation.

The breakfast had a nice variety of options and started early enough for our travel needs. Communication and reception at Casa San Guiseppe was warm and welcoming. Everything was spotlessly clean. It was a bonus to have a refrigerator in the room.

It would have been helpful for us to stay in a place closer to the Metro line since this was the last couple days of our travel and we were tired. However, it was nice to have a quiet place away from the busier streets and the walk to transportation was easy to navigate.
