The location is perfect! Alberto was very responsive via WhatsApp and very helpful. The cleaner was also very friendly.

The room we had in comparison to others was very basic. Unfortunately, the other rooms were not available so we stuck to this one and went ahead with the booking due to the location. Every time we used the toilet, sink or shower there was a really loud drainage/ washer noise (not sure if this is usually the case in Italy?) also along with the noise, it followed with unfortunately a very bad foul smell which was unpleasant. The bed was not comfortable and we woke up everyday with a new insect bite- not sure where they had come from as our window was always closed so we can only think bed bugs? :(

It is a B&B with 5 rooms. Building was a bit historical and unique with an old-fashioned elevator. Alberto speaks very good English and was helpful about the area. Location was okay, on the main street with a bus stop nearby. The communal kitchen was useful, they offer free tea/coffee/cake. We stayed in a room with private bathroom, our room was clean and large. There is a bazaar on every Sunday, at 5 mins walking distance.

Breakfast was served on a crowded nearby cafe , 1 pastry and 1 coffee(options were limited). Noisy if you open windows.

The owner Alberto was welcoming and very helpful. The accommodation was more or less as described. Nicely placed in the Trastevere area, great for bars and dining in the evening and within reasonable walking distance to the Vatican. The bus stop located outside the accommodation is quite handy too. We didn't notice any discernable noise, so that was not a problem.

This was not a problem but for other visitors this might be useful:- locating the property was slightly difficult as it is on one floor of a large communal building with a bell entry system. If visiting, follow Albertos instructions to the building but find the doorbells to enter the property.

Great location. Excellent reception by a friendly host. The place had everything we needed and was tidy.

The bakery where we had breakfast - Giselda - was mostly crowded and staff there (except for the cashier) were barely polite and friendly. Pastries were not always fresh for clients like us from b&b.

Trastevere is the ideal place to stay in Rome. Away from the touristic ancient center, gives you the opportunity to experience some days as a local. It's a living neighbourhood, so even if a woman travels on her own, I think she would feel safe. That's why I propose to everyone Dulcis in Fundo. It's in a great location, near the piazza of Santa Maria di Trastevere, where you can find everything. Even though you can go to all the great monuments on foot, you would prefer to spend that time at the monuments, that's why Dulcis in Fundo is ideal, because there is a bus stop right in front. The buses are pretty easy, often and transfer you everywhere. And for the end I kept the most important for me. When me arrived, Alberto was outside of the hotel, waiting for us, we didn't have to search for him or anything else. He accompanied us to our room, provided us with a map, explained us everything we had to know and gave us great tips about food,places to go etc. Also the cleaning ladies were always with a smile! Thank you Alberto, for sure I would come back again!!

We had a wonderful time in accommodation at Dulcis in Fundo. The room is just like in the pictures, everything is neat and clean. Alberto helped us with everything, including transportation to the airport, and even let us check in earlier than expected. The location is perfect, all the good restaurants and bars were in the area. Thanks for everything, we'll come back and recommend this accommodation to everyone!

The room was excellent. Everything I required was there although some including the bathroom facilities and the kettle etc were in other rooms though this turned out not to be an issue at all.

The location wasn't the best, about 40 minutes walk from just about everything which wasn't great for the early starts I had every morning. Also a tram passed several times an hour until after midnight which could be felt as well as heard.

The location is in the heart of Trastevere, within walking distance of Rome. Alberto was proactive and notified me weeks before our trip to get ourselves situated in Rome. He answered every question and replied to every concern needed to make our stay a memorable one.

learning to locate the location is tricky especially at midnight when we came from a long flight. Only other issue I could think of is the bathroom situated in the hallway and not inside the room.

Alberto was an amazing host! We were very pleased with our room. The bed was very comfortable. We loved the location for access to transportation. We loved the access to the Trastevere District. We really enjoyed all the food we found in the square and the vibrant night life with the young people. The breakfast was also a lovely and yummy experience! The people here were so friendly and made us feel safe and welcomed!!

The trams made the experience interesting, but, we forgive them because they made our overall experience magical! We were saddened by the graffiti, but, understand it is an expression of youth seen all over this beautiful city!

This is centrally located in Trastevere and walking distance (about 20-30minutes) to main attractions like the colosseum. We thought it was a a hotel, it’s more of an apartment. However, they have daily cleaning like a hotel and the host was very wonderful to communicate via WhatsApp. The bed was comfortable and we booked the room with the private bathroom and we were happy. It’s good for you to know that there was a room tax that we needed to leave in cash at check out.
