Super location, very good access by buses and there are two metro lines nearby. As for the room, on the first day we got a small room without a window, but on the second day a very nice service changed our room to a normal, large room with a window - in inside there was a lot of space to unpack suitcases and cosmetics. The room was clean and the air conditioning worked flawlessly. The breakfasts were of average quality. The staff was really helpful. The location and the staff are the strong points of this hotel. It is worth going to the terrace on the 5th floor - nice view and a nice atmosphere for a glass of wine or a drink in the evening. Neighborhood not too bad - some good restaurants nearby. Closer to the station it gets worse, so the hotel is just a bit further away, so there are fewer people, bustle and tramps nearby.

Breakfast - While the sweet options are tasty, the salty menu is of poor quality. Mega cheap mortadella and ham and eggs cooked for far too long are the weakest ingredients. Avoid room 506 (located at the very top on the terrace). It was an option for us on the first day, but due to the heat, cramped conditions and with a window overlooking only the terrace, it would not have been a comfortable stay. We got room 102 (no window) and it was better (cooler), but only emergency. Room 102 without a window is a better choice than 506 on the terrace, where other people would walk under the window;)

Hotel is 7 min walk from Termini train/bus station and even less from metro stations. Went with my daughter and we felt safe walking around both day and night. Perfectly located for walking to all the main tourist attractions, apart from the Vatican, but that’s only 5 stops on the Metro. We had a twin room on 5th floor which was a good size and had a shared terrace. It was very quiet and was cleaned daily and towels were replaced. The bathroom was spotless. Breakfast, although a little too sweet for us, was plentiful and included pastries, cake, bread, cheese, meats, yoghurt and a little fruit. Wi-Fi was good.

There was no mention of ‘Tourist Tax’ when booking, so came as a surprise on checkout.

Perfect location, just 5 min from Termini Station. Room was not big, but very nice, I even got a little balcony at the top floor. Everything was very clean, staff was amazing. Good value for the price. Breakfast offered plenty of choice for my taste (I've tried other Rome hotels in this category, so I can compare). Would definitely stay here again.

I had a problem with a sink with water not flushing away, but I told the reception lady and by the time I returned everything was fixed. Otherwise no problem.

The hotel is amazingly situated near the Rome opera house. Also super close to republica metro station and termini train and metro station. We had a room that overlooked the Piazza and loved to open the whole window in the morning just to get a taste of the city busy environment while getting ready to walk around. The room it is good size for a Rome hotel. Slightly older decorations but clearly very loved and well looked after. We liked that it also gave the feel of 60’s dolce vita. We ABSOLUTELY loved the marble features in the toilet. The room was cleaned and tidied daily. This is a warm welcome back after being waking 7h + around Rome. The staff were very helpful and provided information about interest point around the hotel and how to reach certain areas. They also held our luggage for us on the last day while we enjoyed the last few hours before catching our flight. We surely will come back, hopefully soon!

The room keys rings are very heavy to carry around, It did not bother us as we left them back with the concierge every day. But we did joke about the fact that if we were to hit somebody unintentionally with the purse when walking around, it could really hurt! Honestly not a big deal. It is just a note. Also as many of the rest comments mention: The lift is very small and old, but we always found it working properly and free so not awkward waiting around. Also considering the setting of the hotel and the fact that the building seem to be on the older side I think installing a bigger one could be a challenge! Again, not a big problem for us.

A vintage boutique hotel, like walking back in time. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the rooms were nice & clean. The location is good: near train station, bus stops and has many wonderful places to eat within a small radius. This was a good place to stay on budget. No frills, but a nice clean stay.

The bathroom needed refurbishment; the granite was very worn and the tub had a repaired crack in it but it was soft underfoot. Also, we had no idea there was a refrigerator in our room until we were ready to check out. It was inside the wooden desk. The furnishings were older, and the desk just looked like an old desk! Surprised us - we would have used it.

Good hotel, in a good location, with big rooms with big windows, and very comfortable beds, suitable for allergic people - pillows and blankets with cotton filling. Really recommend 😊.

Excellent location close to railway, opera, bars and restaurants but pleasant and quiet in rooms and shared areas. Very generous breakfast in comfortable breakfast room and nice coffee and pastry for early check out. Most staff were very thoughtful and helpful.

A bit tired and run down, roof terrace not operating.

A great hotel for a city break. The rooms facilities were working such as the TV and the wardrobe was very useful. The room was spotless and the maid reset the room every day which was very nice. The proximity to the metro station was very useful for getting straight into the tourist sites. It was fun to be near the opera house, it felt like we were in the mix while still being away from tourist traps. Nice and close to the train station which meant getting here from Rome CIA and leaving for Venice was an easy transition. The hotel felt very safe too. I would stay here if I come back to Rome.

The only tiny criticism was how strongly it smelt of cleaning chemicals in the hallways.

We selected the room for its proximity to the train station. The room was clean and comfortable. As the room is cozy (small by American standards) it more than accommodated our needs and the balcony was a perfect early morning and late evening retreat. I have to note the restaurant Nerone just steps away. Do yourself a favor and get reservations there. We went back a second time the food was so good!

Location was very central, less than 5 mins to Roma Termini & Hop on hop off bus pick up points, walking distance to Trevi fountain, Spanish steps and other attractions. 20 to 30 min walk time to most attractions in either direction. Lots of food options surrounding the hotel. Basic but filling breakfast. Reception staff, every single one, extremely helpful and accommodating. The staff was fantastic.

The lift a bit tight, rooms could use an upgrade but comfortable.
