Loved this small hotel. Perfectly located, 90 secs.from Spanish Steps and walking distance to all other attractions. Staff were lovely and friendly although we really did not need them.flr anything. Hotel has has less than 10 rooms and is very quirkly. Narrow staircases to get to rooms and one small lift that luggage can go in. Our.room, 106, was great. Spacious with a traditional feel. Had all required amenities, safe, iron and ironing board, coffee maker, complementary toiletries and bottle of wine. Room was immaculate and cleaned daily.

One big issue for me. No shower. Small handheld on bath but nowhere to hold it up so impossible to wash long hair. I also like a shower after a long day of walking which I could not do.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Mario de Fiori 37, and I can honestly say it was one of the best hotel experiences I've ever had. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel like we were the most important guests in Rome. Their hospitality was truly exceptional — they went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, from personalized recommendations for dining and sightseeing to helping us with transportation and reservations. The location is absolutely unbeatable. Situated in the heart of Rome, it’s just a short walk to iconic landmarks like the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, and Piazza del Popolo, yet the hotel still offers a peaceful retreat away from the crowds. Whether you're a first-time visitor or a seasoned traveler, this place is perfect for exploring the city. The rooms themselves are charming and comfortable, providing a perfect blend of modern amenities and classic Roman style. It's clear that every detail is thoughtfully considered to make guests feel welcome and at ease. I can't recommend Mario de Fiori 37 enough. The staff truly made our stay unforgettable, and the prime location gave us easy access to everything we wanted to see. Location is amazing

The location of the property was excellent. It was 2 blocks to Spanish Steps and all the great restaurants. We actually ate at Ristorante 34 on the same street 3 times!!!! The bed was super comfortable- best in Italy!!!! The toilet was in a separate room from the shower- which was ideal. All newly updated with marble walls. The size of the room was quite large for Italy. The staff was very professional and polite. There are only 9 rooms I believe but it has been remodeled and they are adding a small restaurant and sitting area so it will be great. The room was serviced every day. You had to walk up 1 flight of stairs to the room but it was no issue for us and there was a small elevator we did not use. There was coffee in the room, a safe, refrigerator, and everything we needed. I would stay here again. We walked to everything from here- took a very short taxi to train station on day of departure which hotel arranged for us at 5:30 am Definitely eat at Ristorate 34 —-2 doors down

There was no magnifying mirror for women to put on makeup. Just a little thing to have not that important. If the shower doors ( which was very spacious and great) were not closed properly, the floor would get soaked.

This property is amazing - it exceeeded my expectations since I had booked seeing its high rating .Ideally located to step and theres all that you need chic restaurants , shopping and all sites walking distance including Spanish steps , Trevi fountain ,Piazza Navona .But the best part is the warmth with which you are greeted by Olga and Ruben at the front desk and the courteous and helpful service of both of them as also the entire staff .Ruben is the owner's son but comes across as a very humble and caring young man who makes your stay exceptional .Breakfast is at a different property but sumptuous where the staff is equally warm and courteous .Kudos to the training parted by the management of the hotel group .Will certainly come back to this property when in Rome next .

The Mario de Fiori 37 is a boutique hotel just moments from the Spanish Steps, surrounded by elegant shopping, bustling gelato shops and charismatic restaurants. The nine rooms are beautifully appointed, with upmarket amenities that one expects and pays more for in other nearby four-star hotels. Our junior suite had been thoughtfully renovated to accent the centuries-old wood beam ceiling with contemporary inset lighting. It was a welcome retreat from the busy streets with a very comfortable king bed, silent air conditioning and spacious bath. The staff is welcoming and helpful. And you couldn’t be more centrally located to enjoy a walk to the great monuments of Rome in the morning and immerse yourself in Italian craftsmanship in the afternoon.

This is an older hotel that has been consistently updated and is wearing very well. The hotel advertises suites and our room was large with a king bed, seating area, and alcove for the coffee maker, safe, and dresser. Water pressure was excellent and everything was clean and in good repair. The front desk is staffed 24/7 and all staff was attentive, pleasant, and English speaking. There was usually just one person at the front desk, but there never was a wait for assistance. I had asked prior to arrival if the hotel could arrange transportation from the airport to the hotel upon arrival, then from the hotel to our cruise ship five days later, and from the cruise ship to the airport following our cruise. There were 3 of us with several large suitcases. The hotel staff arranged all three rides with a service using a Mercedes van and transport was easy, reasonably priced, and no problem at all. Payment was made directly to the driver with no additional charge from the hotel for arranging the service. This made our trip easy and enjoyable. The hotel is located a block from the plaza in front of the Spanish steps in a neighborhood of narrow pedestrian shared streets filled with upscale shopping, restaurants of all levels, and coffee and gelato shops. We were there in August and it was hot and tourist intensive, but the location was a great area to linger in and a close walk to all the major sites.

As with most older buildings the elevator was very small. However, there was staff to assist with luggage so we didn't have to handle our luggage going either up or down.

The hotel is located in a fantastic location within a couple of minutes walk of the Spanish Steps. This is a boutique hotel with a small number of rooms which makes it a bit more personal. Giuseppe on reception really helpful and always there to answer any questions you have although his English is limited but there are other staff members that are a little more fluent.

Prices of taxi's that the hotel arrange on your behalf are expensive and there is a taxi stand by the Spanish steps that are half the price the hotel quotes (they do say they are not getting commission!!!)

We were informed that Mario De Fiori was going to be under renovations so our reservation was changed to Babuino 181 before our arrival. The staff really made this hotel. Veronica from Reception was most helpful and arranged our airport to hotel car transfer. Valerio at the rooftop breakfast buffet was most outstanding in looking after us. There was plenty of storage space in our room and the shutters over the windows blocked out all the light for a good night's sleep!

The air conditioner was a little confusing to set up but it was fine once we got it going. We would have preferred a walk-in shower instead of a 'climb-in' bathtub/shower combination due to our age.

The room was quite big for European standards and tastefully furnished. A welcome bonus was the nespresso coffee machine which was always stocked with pods and the mini bar always replenished, all for free. Olga and staff were always eager (not just willing) to assist us and the property's location was as ideal as it can get... a few hundred meters from the Spanish steps, the shopping districts, the subway, and surrounded by restaurants, with a couple of Carrefours within minutes walk as well.

I stayed 4 nights, 07.01.2025-11.01.2025 Great location, elevator, perfect continental breakfast, nice staffs (especially women who greeted us kindly with smile, she usually was working afternoon to evening), good water pressure, good slippers. It was my 4th visit to Rome, and it was best choice. I'll definitely stay this beautiful room again next time.
