The owner was serious & professional whom took great pride in providing comfort and value to his guest. Everything was very well organized. They even supply a place to keep your luggage at no cost which is rare in Rome. The location was directly in front of the Vatican museum. Many nice places to dine close by. Shops were also very close as was transportation. The breakfast was a plus with around the clock coffee & tea. There was also a frig in the room. The room was a nice size and clean Overall good value & pleasant stay in the heart of the Vatican area.

This place was amazing. Is 10 mins walking away from the entrance to Vatican city. 5 mins away to bus and metro station. It is close to markets, restaurants, and coffee shops. The room was perfect for the two of us, everything was clean and comfortable. Breakfast is okey, you'll find some toast, crackers, jelly, pastries in your room. Coffee and tea is always available. Staff was very helpful and friendly. We definitely recommend this place.

Location was convenient and right across from the Vatican and even close to the basilica! The staff there was very welcoming and respectful. We only stayed one night and it was good for that time we were there. The owner is very responsive and communicates very well. There’s a safe for you to put your things away and you also get the key. Be aware that to get in the property there are a few stairs so if you’re taking luggage be aware. Overall was a good stay and would come back again.

Too many keys to get in that were unmarked, expected an actual breakfast but was crackers & croissant snack thing. My boyfriend was vegan and I did mention but unfortunately he couldn’t consume anything.

The location is 200m from the enter to Vatican Museum. The check-in instructions are very clear. Federica answered all questions immediately. The breakfast is OK in the room. It is very clean. Tea and coffee are offered 24/7. We liked this place very much. Thank you, Federica!🥰

Everything was great!

The owner of the Vaticano84, Giuseppe, is an excellent person! He asked me about our arrival time and admitted us although it was early morning. He was always easy to reach and gave me the information I needed such as the location of cheap supermarkets etc. The location is excellent, just next to Vatican and close to the metro station. The area was quite safe. The staff at the guesthouse were quite helpful and smiling. When our baby got ill, they provided us with a digital thermometer which made our life easier. If we go to Rome again, we will definitely stay there. You cannot find a place which is better than Vaticano84.

Everything was excellent!

Good service especially Federica and the other lady who clean the room everyday, Giuseppe - they were all amazing, hospitable, friendly and nice. I will recommend this hotel to my friends and relatives who wants to come and visit Rome and the Vatican City is just across the street, everything is near, we were able to entirely see Rome by walking and sometimes taking the bus or shuttle (you just have to be careful of the pick picketers).

Location by the walls of vatican close by walk distance with parking lots nearby. Easy checking in and out. Free coffee is available. Bathroom was clean and well prepared.

Room was a bit small but should be fine for short stay.

Well located, very close to Vaticano and only some steps down, we were more under locals. The underground is also just some steps away. Nice little balcony close to the coffee maker.

The breakfast was poor, but the coffee machine made a very good Italian coffee.

The location was super nice, the easiest way to get to it is by subway. The 5 minutes to the tasty cafes and shops. They also might give you an extra key to leave your bags in case you have a late flight, but you should leave it just in the common kitchen with others visitors. The coffee machine for visitors it's nice stuff to mention here.

Don't prepare yourself for a good breakfast the next day, I'd say it's a just present to the visitors to have a small lanch after flight/train.

Great location, close to metro, shops and cafes/restaurants. We could see the wall of Vatican City from our courtyard! Clean and well equipped, access to microwave, fridge in room.

Our only criticism was that the double bed/mattress was badly sloping on one side - it was like sleeping on a hill! The other beds were very comfortable, this was the only reason we didn’t give an ‘excellent’ score
