Susy, the owner, recently opened this B&B with her brother, and she's put in a lot of hard work that clearly shows. And, she's really cool, an impressive person. You're going to be in helpful hands, and she's a straight shooter. It's a great central location for visiting Salerno and for getting to and from the train, buses and boats to visit the Amalfi Coast, Pompei, and Napoli. I discovered that Salerno was my favorite spot among all of the above-mentioned, and I can see myself returning here for a nice small town stay with great food. The rooms are on the street level (easy for getting into with heavy bags) and was clean and well appointed, with the big spa jet tub in the corner, bathroom in a separate room. The window looked out onto the street, but soft curtains allowed diffused light in and offered some privacy. Breakfast is offered at the neighboring bar, so it will be a typical Italian caffe' e cornetto (or treccia, bombole, sfogliatella, or one of the other varieties--they had more pastries to choose from than most bars). I wouldn't write home about the breakfast even though I'm talking about it here, but you get to sit outside on the main Corso among the bar's locals who are catching a quick chat before they head to work or just on with their day. Anyways, you only want something light to eat with all of the other amazing food you can find for lunch and/or dinner in Salerno! Back to Susy---upon asking she loaned me an umbrella for the rain I was unprepared for, and a laptop, so that I could get some impromptu work done. She ranks as the most helpful host I had on all of my travels. She's put together a lovely B&B and I highly, highly recommend staying here. Originally I was going to stay at another place, but they canceled on me due to a Covid case. I really lucked out by coming here instead and I would stay again.

Perfect location, friendly staff , thanks Susy for making the check-in so easy and efficient. Salerno has a beautiful old area and one of the most amazing cathedrals in Italy. Do not miss Saint Mateo Tomb. Take a boat to Amalfi Coast, which is worth just 10 Euros one way. After a busy and almost crazy journey by bus around the Amalfi Coast, we end up at B&B Les Lumieres, which was even.

the location of the property is great. under 10 mins walk from Salerno train station and under 15 mins to the ferry port. the room was clean and the bed was big enough for two adults and a toddler.

steep steps to the reception. which was tricky with a pram. we also went during an Italian public holiday so it was a bit noisy at night

We were very comfortable and the location was great. We were spoilt with the spa in our room and the little extras. Very clean.

The entrance door to the facility can be noisy when guests close and secure the door. Though it doesn't deter us from the comfort we enjoyed. A beautiful room.

It was very safe! It was very clean! The staff was so nice!

Our bathtub wasn’t working. It was a bummer. the water pressure in the shower was way too strong lol You could hear a lot of what was happening outside through the window.

We had an amazing stay in Salerno thanks to Susy's warm hospitality. The location of the apartment was perfect, just a short walk from the ferry and railway station, as well as numerous restaurants and stores. That was a truly memorable experience in Salerno.

Good place for one/two nights, next to the train station - comfortable if you are traveling by train. In the main shopping street. Breakfast next to the B&B - comfortable and pretty nice. Clean, self check-in is possible.

Some kind of smell in the bathroom. Pretty dark room.

Central location... modern and new facilities. Easy walk to virtually everything.. train station, ferry, sights all within 10 minutes...

They supplied a breakfast voucher for the coffee shop next door but your better off eating elsewhere... not the Hotels fault.

Very friendly and accommodating host. Excellent and quiet position of the apartment near historical town. Great breakfast provided. Just great. We will be happy to stay there again.
