We chose this hotel with care, as we wanted a good quiet location and a comfortable and clean room. What we found exceeded our overall expectations. The staff we came across were very helpful and obliging, nothing was too difficult for them at all. The breakfast was very Italian, but was perfectly adequate and tasty. The hotel was within easy walking distance to the old town, the promenade and shopping areas. Would we stay there again - yes is the easy answer.

The room was very comfortable and the staff were extremely helpful throughout the week. The hotel was clean and ideally located. The garden in front was particularly nice for my daughter to play and to sit outside in the evening.

There was noisy construction happening on the top floor of the building, which was disruptive at times during the day (including when my young child was sleeping). Ideally, I would have preferred for breakfast to be served earlier than 0800 since our work meetings began at 0830 across town.

Very nice hotel, situated a short walk from the sea. All was good, staff great, comfy beds, quiet. Breakfast was served outside, good range of food, kept us going all day. I don't generally like 'Resorts" but San Remo is very 'chilled' and not too crowded. We found a good restaurant 5 mins away. Would advise booking as we were lucky to get a table. We would stay here again.

Secure parking was very tight but I was helped by the staff helping me to reverse in to a space.

This is a classic hotel - dark wood furniture, high ceilings, rickety little lift - but our rooms (we were upgraded to a suite) were large, spotlessly clean and the newly refurbished bathroom was a great size, clean and bright as was the kitchenette. The Reception staff were so pleasant, friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our welcome drink in the garden and their recommendation for dinner in the tiny Trattoria across the road was absolutely spot on. We appreciated them making the reservation for us as it was full of locals so it was essential. Great location for a stroll into town or down to the Marina. Breakfast was Amazing - absolutely everything you could think of!

New pillows please! they were so flat they were a bit uncomfortable. And the stair well would really benefit from a coat of paint.

We arrived and were informed that our reservation had been upgraded from a normal room to a suite at no additional charge. (We didn't complain :-) All of the people at the check-in desk were very friendly and helpful. Including showing us all of the highlights of the town on a map. The hotel is very centrally located with the beautiful old town just a few minutes walk away. We had reserved a parking space and since the spot was narrow one of the receptionists went with us to help us get into it. She also walked with us to show us our room, how to open the gate, door, etc. The room was very comfortable and well equipped and the bathroom was large and very modern. We were offered welcome drinks so we sat relaxing watching the world pass by in the front garden where breakfast is also served.

Loved nearly everything about this place! Have been telling all my friends to visit San Remo and stay here. ESPECIALLY loved the little bar in the reception and the breakfast. Felt like old-school hospitality, the way it should be.

The only thing I wish was better were the pillows! They were so flat. We also arrived very late so I didn’t feel comfortable asking if there were options. The temperature in the shower was also a bit hard to control.

The breakfast was nice but the room is quite small so if you are there at peak season it might be hard to find space to sit. Our room was spacious and clean. The staff were really nice and helpful. You get a welcome drink token when you arrive, we were busy the first night so staff left a small bottle of persecco in the room when we got back which was a nice touch.

Decent staff; they offered us a welcome drink and a bottle of sparkling wine. Good breakfast in a lovely garden outside. Very clean, too. The hotel is in a great location, a short distance from the center of Sanremo and the beaches near the port. The bike service they offer is also a great bonus, seeing as Sanremo has a beautiful cycling path along the sea.

The city tax had to be paid separately, only in cash, which seemed a little sketchy.

Great location within walking distance of the center. The staff is very charming and helpful. The hotel itself is a little jewel of a building with a charming garden, ideal for breakfast or an evening drink

Very comfortable. Great and helpful personal staff, clean rooms and very good breakfast. Location is near to the city center and the beach. Also has bicycle service and you can book one for free from the hotel. Hotel has parking place and offers small discounts to some restaurante around the city.
