A nice modern room in an old building. Our hostess Santina was amazing! The breakfast spread was enormous — we couldn't possibly have sampled everything, though we tried! There is a terrace at the top of the building from which you can look down on the courtyard that gives the establishment its name, and maybe have a drink up there on a warm summer evening. We felt that this was a very safe BandB. The bed was large and comfortable. The room was a little warm at night, but air conditioning is available when that happens. Be aware that parking is a little distance away and most of the walk is via steps, so don't bring too much luggage!

We booked a large double room with balcony and assumed that the balcony would overlook the courtyard. In fact the "balcony" was a deep window overlooking the street, so a little disappointed.

Superb location, and very welcoming hosts Santina and Accursio. A super clean, comfortable room with lovely shower facility and lots of hot water. A delightful, colourful inner courtyard for a varied and plentiful breakfast. And a very unusual and yet interesting panoramic view of neighbouring houses that fill the sky almost completely—this is Sicily at its best.

Location was perfect. Our room was big, bedding comfortable, cute balcony with view of courtyard, and off the beaten path so it was quiet and romantic. The owner was so friendly and we enjoyed our time having a cup of expresso with her and her beautiful dog in her courtyard. Highly recommend staying here and when we come back, we will choose to stay here again.

If you are coming with your car just be careful for the market days not to park in the designated area.

A peacefully quiet and lovely place with a great garden and wonderfully welcoming and kind hosts. And an amazing breakfast with so many delicious things to savor! Our hostess gave us great touring trips and helped us with phone calls and particular advice. Really the most helpful hosts I’ve ever met, and I’ve met many!

It requires walking to reach—but the walk is pleasant and the center of town not far. So it’s not really a negative at all!

The breakfast was excellent, with both savoury and sweet choices. The room was very clean and had all the facilities we hoped for. The location too was great: in the middle of the historic centre, close to restaurants, the medieval castle and day market. The host, Santina, was friendly and always happy to help - it really made a difference when we were looking to book taxis and the bus back to Palermo. We would would love to stay there again and definitely recommend it to other travellers!

Apart from the excellent location and property facilities, the hospitality at "La Finestra Sul Cortile" was beyond our expectations. Our host, signora Santina, was exceptionally welcoming, well-informed, efficient, and helpful. As we were trying to get to the B&B, we got lost several times due to closed roads. The GPS was completely useless, so we called our host, and she guided us on the speaker for about 30 min. through alternative routes until we finally reached the property. By the time we checked in, it was already late and we were very tired. We didn't feel like going downtown, looking for something to eat, although it was within walking distance. Our host, Santina, ordered pizza and a bottle of fine white wine for us and welcomed us into her kitchen, offering water, fruit, and whatever else we needed. We ended up talking with her for more than an hour about history, social justice, geopolitics, traditions, and whatnot. She is such a knowledgeable, skilled, efficient, and friendly person. Together with her husband and their gorgeous chow-chow dog, Leone, she made our stay really special and made us feel at home. Breakfast on the following morning exceeded our expectations, with a variety of local products and delicious, homemade cakes, surrounded by Sicilian art pieces and beautiful, lush plants, in the peace and quiet of the courtyard. I highly recommend this place to anybody traveling to Sciacca and the vicinities. We will definitely go back there for future trips in the area, and recommend it to friends.

The town of Sciacca has a lot to offer, but the chaotic traffic, inadequate road signs, closed roads, lack of sufficient parking space, and lack of proper indications make it difficult for tourists to enjoy their stay to the fullest.

Extremely friendly and hospitable hosts, they want to make you feel truly at home. The room was very clean and stylish. The terrace where the breakfast is served is beautiful, and the breakfast itself abundant and varied. I wish all hosts had this approach to their guests.

The owner was very helpful and gave us good advice about the area and where to eat in the town. The room was comfortable and clean. Air conditioning, bathroom and TV in good working order. Excellent breakfast.
