The best thing about the B&B, was hands-down, Laura. Her kindness to let us check-in way earlier after a long drive was much appreciated, but her energy, wow. We received a lot of great recommendations of what to visit and everything we managed to see was absolutely fantastic. Lago di Garda is a fabulous place. Don't let the bathroom on the outside of the room fool you. It was absolutely fine for us. The room is plenty spacious with a large, comfortable bed. The bathroom is also spacious and well ventilated, plus, very clean. The breakfast is what one needs to get the day started: bread, butter, croissants, jams, prosciutto, mozarella and fresh coffee. There's plenty of parking and there are free bikes you can use. One of our best stays and if we ever return to Sirmione, this place will be our first choice.

There was nothing we didn't like.

The villa is stunning and full of character. It is quiet, with a gorgeous view and setting amongst the vines. To me, it felt like my Nonna’s house, full of warmth, cosy, inviting. There is an energy about this place that is so unique. And then, there is Laura who manages it. She welcomes you with such warmth and kindness, it is like coming home to a long lost family member. Her kindness and generosity is second to none. Grazie mille Laura per tutto! La Magia non sarebbe quello che è di senza te! Don’t be put off by not having a car! Laura offered to pick me up from the station and dropped me off. Once there, I had access to the bikes provided and the ride to Sermione and around the place is wonderful! It would be a shame to miss those gorgeous bike rides at sunset and sunrise! I already miss the place and I’ve been back less than a day!

Nothing! It was absolutely perfect

Laura is a fabulous, extremely accommodating, onsite hostess whose primary concern is that you enjoy your stay. Her hideaway is a bit of rustic Italy surrounded by vineyards in an area that is otherwise very modern, tightly pack Italian suburbia. You are situated outside of the hubbub of the tourist haven that is Sirmione, yet you are close enough to Lake Garda that you can walk or ride one of Laura's many bikes into town. If you have a car, there's plenty of parking and you're a short drive from any number of Garda area attractions. Laura's piccolo giardino, as she calls the umbrella-covered seating area in front of her inn, is the perfect place to unwind after a day of being out and about. Though her B&B designation does not allow her to prepare a cooked breakfast, Laura makes a great cup of coffee, warms a croissant and offer ample cold breakfast options - sliced cheese, meats, tomato, mozzarella, cereals, fruit, yogurt, bread - while providing eggs and encouraging you to prepare your own hot breakfast if you so choose.

The challenges that came up for us had nothing to do with LaMaGia and everything to do with our own choices. We did not rent a car, so we were limited to either walking to town to catch a bus to get around or bike riding. My wife was not comfortable riding a bike in an area with lots of other foot, bike and car traffic, so the amount of walking we did became an issue. Definitely do what most other visitors to LaMaGia do - rent a car. Also note, you will be carrying your luggage up one or two flights of stairs.

Lovely B&B perfect for us as backpackers. Bed was comfortable and we had our own bathroom, breakfast was lovely and nice coffee. Laura was so kind she picked us up from the train station which was great after a tiring day travelling. There are plenty of bikes at the b&b free for the guests to take . We took them every morning and cycled to the centre of Sirmione where you can lock the bikes ( lock also provided with room) and then we collected them at night to go home it was ideal. It's only a 20 min cycle and all flat so you don't have to be fit. Really happy with this b&b .

We spent 6 ninghts in this B+B and the breakfasts were delecious: warm croissant every day, ham, eggs, coffee, tea, cereal, yoghurt, rolls, bread and so on. Laura was available when we had any questions. Everything was nicely clean and we got clean towels after 3 nights. This accomodation is a bit far from the old city centre, but bikes are available. For us it was perfect because we travelled by car and visited other cities all around the lake. Laura is a perfect host, she recommended us nice places and restaurants to visit as well.

Having a kitchen you can use any time means you can save the cost of going out for dinner some nights if you don't feel like it. Laura is very keen to please. It's a small, quiet, family run hotel so you'll get a good night's sleep. A good cheap option if value is important to you. It's deliberately very old fashioned, with many ornaments from ages ago hung around, so if you want modern then this isn't the place for you.

The location isn't ideal. It's over 1km from anywhere so it's better if you have a car, although bikes are provided for free. One thing other reviewers have commented on is the bathroom. It's not on suite but it is private. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms on each floor , but Laura only rents out a maximum of two rooms on a floor at once, (unless you are a family of four taking two rooms and one bathroom), so you will always have a bathroom allocated to you, and only you.

B&B is located a bit out from Sirmione, but there were bikes offered by land-lady for transport. It takes about 10-15 minutes on bike to reach the beach and castle/old town. At the same time very good wineries are just 5 to 10 minutes away from the place. Land-lady is really expressively friendly, welcoming and cooks you personal breakfast from local products. Facility itself is in historical Italian apartment house with its full charm and local residents. Parking is on the street, but free and as the area is very quiet, then also available and safe.

Our stay at this accommodation was exceptional! Everything was impeccably clean, and the space was very comfortable and nicely decorated. The host was more than kind, always ready to help and provide all the necessary information. Her hospitality made our stay even more enjoyable. I recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a pleasant and relaxing stay. We will definitely return!

The house is amazingly decorated and the breakfast is fantastic. Laura (the manager) is very friendly and helpful. Free bikes are provided to quickly travel to sirmione's city center. The house is easy accesible from the road that connects to other towns and free parking is available at the propoerties location.

Lacking a/c, it can get hot in August.

Delicious breakfast each morning, quiet location, access to bikes, close to wineries, the host has excellent local restaurant recommendations. Would recommend!

Only downfall was the bed/mattress - old style spring bed and 2 X mattresses on-top of each other meant a very disrupted sleep.
