Lorenzo is a very good host, the room was spotlessly clean, had good fixtures and fittings. The breakfast was excellent. We had friendly conversations, over breakfast with Lorenzo, even with my poor Italian. Easy to reach Pompei and Herculaneum. The property was very safe, gated with a friendly watchman.

Nothing really, Lorenz’s rooms are in a large building, hot water certain times of the day, took some time to come through, but I understand the situation

The place is situated close to the Circumvesuviana train station. The city centre can be reached by a 5 minute walk, the seashore is 10-15 minutes on foot. The room was big and clean with daily cleaning. The owners, Lorenzo and his mother were very friendly and helpful. They gave us several advice regarding what and how to visit in the gulf of Naples. The breakfast - served by Lorenzo's mother - was really superb. We told her that we heard about the delicious local pastries and would like to try them during our stay, so she brought us different kind of pastries each day.

We stayed at Casa Torrese for 8 nights and it’s the best B&B we have been to. Gated place with a security guard. We felt very safe and welcomed. Everything is extremely clean and with attention for details. Daily cleaning and fantastic hospitality. Lorenzo the host has a unique kindness and professionalism who proved to be highly available at all times. The breakfasts at Casa Torrese were a great start of the day. Wide range of daily choices between sweet and savory with products often homemade by Lorenzo's mother, Mrs. Clementina. We would highly recommended to stay at Casa Torrese!

This is great place to use as a base for exploring Naples and the surrounding area. Nice to escape the crowds of tourists at the end of the day and come back to a ‘real’ Italian neighbourhood. Two minutes walk from the train station. Lorenzo is a wonderful host, very attentive and always willing to help. He is always available for advice and questions. Highly recommended!

Staff where totally amazing could not do enough to help, the best we have in all our years of traveling. Clean room loads of fresh towels everyday. Breakfast was out of this world. location is good base for viewing what the bay of Naples has to offer.

It's hard to find anything. Possible due to my mobility problems the 12 steps up to the lift.

We had a big and clean room in a secured apartment building. Everyday the room was cleaned. The breakfast was amazing. The owners tried each day to please us and bring something different. They were very helpful and proactive in advices and tips. A really warm family, trying to make your stay the best one.

Casa Torrese was a perfect place to stay for visiting Pompeii, Herculaneum, and Naples. It's just around the corner from the Torre del Greco train station. Breakfast was delicious, and Lorenzo and Salvatore went above and beyond as hosts.

Great place to stay in the heart of the Campania region. Close proximity to train which will take you to Naples, Pompei and Sorrento. Clean, spacious, recently renovated rooms, tasty breakfast with local delicacies and very welcoming hosts. Definitely would recommend!

Lorenzo and his mother made us feel real welcome. Really tasty breakfast made by Lorenzo's mom. Lorenzo had many good tips about what to do. As a foreigner I feel it was a bit confusing with the railways. There were 2 railway stations. One for trenitalia at the bottom near the harbor. One real close to casa Torrese. It was called the Circumvesuviana and it is the one that will take you to Sorrento. I liked Torre Del Greco. The casa Torrese was positioned quite a bit away from the harbor and the beach, but I liked climbing the stairs to get back up. When I got real close to the B & B I stopped for some popular local street (cheap) food at Toto e peppino. When back at casa Torrese the air conditioning was great. It was for sure needed in 37 degrees heat. A tip for the stay and for Italy in general is to know some Italian. We had no problems with communicating in English with Lorenzo though.
