room 301 and 302 on the top floor are beyond any expectation… probably the best sea view in Italy with a very large terrasse 5X8 meters. Huge windows and patio doors. Wonderful seafood in restaurant … fixed price 30 euro a person … so order antipasti de mare (fantastic) sea bass very good … try the sorbetto de limone in frozen lemons…could be the best dessert you could find. Staff were pleasant. Interesting viewing of fishermen in small boats between 7 am and 9 am

In the process of renovating the outside dinner area … should be fantastic this summer.

This is a lovely hotel on the beach. We had large, comfortable rooms with a balcony that overlooks the beach. The staff was welcoming and attentive. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant, and it was "molto delizioso." Breakfast, included in our room rate, was generous and quite good. Highly recommend!

Spacious room, very comfortable bed, balcony overlooking the sea. Friendly staff. Location. Good breakfast with fresh fruits.

The hotel would need complete renovation and better maintenance (e.g. the problem of creaking doors could be easily solved). There was no free power socket in the room (only in the bathroom).

The man at the reception tried to give me another room, the one I didn’t purchase. But at the end he gave me the right one.

The breakfast was poor, coffee, yogurt, packed croissant and few cookies.

The only "Dolce" from the Hotel Dolce Stella was the Italian breakfast at the bar and the nice chat with the friendly barkeeper.

Unfriendly welcome by the female receptionist. The room was worn-out, old, the door knob to the balcony was broken, couldn't open it. The toilet seat was broken, not possible to sit on it. We complained the grievances and asked for another room. The second room was like the first one, the sink of the shower was clogged and he faucet of the lavabo was leaking heavily, covered with a thick layer of verdigris.

Would never stay here. Was turned away from the beginning with a confirmed reservation. The two guys at the bar said that they had over booked and we had to stay at Hotel Melissa, a clean, but very dated hotel with a lower guest rating and a lower price. We took pictures of the hotel and most rooms during the day and night had the roller shutters down and no lights, clearly not overbooked. One of the bartenders said something like “same buoy boss”, like it was run by the same person. I normally don’t leave reviews, but this one deserves it and I will definitely contact booking.com. I’m sad because this little town is struggling and could use more visitors and residents!
