The resort is amazing and very big. It s amplasated on a high cliff and the view is perfectly splendid! The food there was very good and had various kind of foods even for the picky ones. Notice that around the resort there are not many restaurants ( only at 5-10 mins by car in Arbatrax or Tortoli), so i would say if you don t have a car to drive around the resort, you can choose to eat there for 25 euros/person ( if you don t choose the half-board option). Don t worry if you don t have a car to go to the restaurants near the resort for lunch/dinner and you only chose the breakfast option like us, they still have a lot of bars in the resort which serves apperitives, sandwiches and drinks. Also notice that outside the resort, most of the restaurants and shops in the villages near by are closed from 13.00 (1 pm) - 18.00 / 19.00 ( 6 / 7) pm. Also in the resort you will find some of their restaurants that only serve breakfast + dinner (not lunch), and a pizzeria. The staff were very well prepared and very kind to us, making the most out of our stay. I would definitely recomand this resort.

It s not necessarily a dislike, but we didn t know this and had most of our money cash. Around the resort you can only pay by card or with a chip that you can get from the reception and you can charge it with the amount of money you want.

We had a room with a beautiful sea view, and a big balcony, which was perfect and we used it a lot. The resort was relaxed and service was good and friendly. We were pleasantly surprised by the amenities available including a daily walk of the nature reserve to meet all the animals with the ranger, complete with local cooked bread tasting to finish. The resort itself is on a very beautiful peninsula with several stunning beaches and as a guest you get access to all hotel facilities within the resort (including the quirky Boboi bus!). Having read some negative reviews of the accommodation before arriving we didn't have the highest expectations but these were exceeded, so long as you appreciate a bit of rustic Italian decor, are fit and able to manage the hills and appreciate the views on offer with a little uphill walking and aware that abit of TLC could increase the standard, this is well worth a stay and good access to the stunning Baunei coast.

You definitely need a car if you plan to leave the resort, which we had planned for, there isn't much to see or do in the local town with the odd restaurant in walking distance, so long as you can manage steep hills! The food at breakfast was plentiful but covered in wasps, as far as buffet breakfasts go it was good. Evening meals at the resort were not for us, with almost all restaurants buffet style, and none of it appeared very Italian or Sardinian, fine for families for ease but not worth the additional money for just B&B.

I booked this hotel for 5 days. Very good location for us, beautifully situated. When I arrived we waited 20 minutes for someone to pick us up. During this time I read about the reviews. They were bad. My wife and I cannot confirm a single bad review. We were accommodated in the Borgo, because the whole park has several hotels. - Fantastic location - Room clean and pleasant - Daily room service - Breakfast without much choice, but enough to eat for the whole day - Cottages in the trees, beautiful alleys - Beautiful park with animals: donkeys, moufflons, sheep etc. - beautiful beaches - free shuttle service between resorts - in the evening a fantastic Smoth Jazz concert performed by Everblue from Rome - Dinner for 30 euro/person. You eat and drink as much as you want. Different every day There may be a lot of visitors in July and August. We were at the beginning of October and there was no feeling of tourists at all. We went for a walk to the second resort in the Resort Park - Teplis. The cottages looked a bit worse than those in Borgo. The beach by the rocks and the pools were great. As much as we would like to, we do not find any bad sides of the Borgo resort. We enjoyed it very much. A beautiful place and built on a grand scale. Thank you for a great time and to the gentleman who made super coffee :-)

Internet in the main building, no mobile phone coverage

Really great nature pack and the Borgo is on the nicer more quiet side.

I think the dinner options and lack of nearby lunch options a little inconvenient.

Hotel is beautiful as are the beaches and pools, staff are very friendly & helpful We took advantage of the spa facilities - massage was fantastic as was most of the spa but it could use a little bit of upkeep here and there

The buffet restaurant at Borgo is supbar, very expensive for food that is quite low quality and made us unwell after eating it. We only ate there once because of it. Food in pizza restaurant in the lower half of the resort was a good second option as was the beach bar for snacks/paninis but there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance in Cagliari you can go to instead,

The hotel is a true gem, the natural location by the bay is simply breathtaking, offering spectacular views of the sea and the surrounding landscape. It is the perfect place to fully enjoy the beauty of Sardinia. The architecture of the resort is equally impressive. The village is built in the traditional Sardinian style, exuding authenticity and charm. The buildings blend harmoniously with the natural surroundings, creating a sense of tranquility and comfort. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, making the stay even more enjoyable. The rooms are comfortable and clean, and the food in the restaurant is simply delicious. Overall, Borgo Cala Moresca is a perfect place for an unforgettable vacation.

This place has its own beaches and spectacular views. It is like a small rustic village full of charm. Breakfast was complete and set in a beautiful restuarant. The grounds were extensive and complete with free roaming domesticated animals. The Spa was spectacular. Several swimming pools on site and you are spoilt for choice.

Since it's all on a grand scale, be prepared to walk and to climb some steps to go to your room.

Amazing stay. I appreciate: 1. Beautiful traditional sardegnian architecture 2. Beautiful garden, amazing location with lots of sights of relief, amazing view from seaview suites, You can walk all around this beautiful huge natural park and meet animals, listen to endemic bird species, absolutely relaxing! 3. Delicious food, additional star * for real italian espresso and coffee for breakfast and local sardegnian wines and beer for dinner, which all are included in HB price. I really loved those fresh crispy chockolate croissants for breakfast, all kinds of pasta, really everything was delicious and i do not understand bad opinions about the food here. 4. Staff very nice, very caring, they’ll do everything to make Your stay special. The Manager is present and looks over it all. Perfect cleaning service. 5. Free kayak and paddle boards at the beach for guests usage 6. Most beautiful terraces to sunbathing 7. Nice rooms with traditional furniture and beautiful marble tiles on the floor and in bathroom. For the opinions that they need refreshment: the hotel is an old Sardegnian Village restored and adapted for a hotel. In my opinion it was restored with taste and just enough not to take away this special traditional character of the property. Please leave it that way :) However i do recommend sea view Suites over regular rooms for amazing sunsets. Thank You :)

The access to the sea from the platform is very useful. Benches and umbrellas are provided. The breakfast and dinner buffet selections are very good. Staff are friendly and willing to help but you can clearly see there's shortage of staff. The elevator to the beach is always out of service, but if you can manage stairs then it's manageable without the elevator.

Quite a complicated process to receive towels for the pool. Not enough staff to operate the shuttle to the rooms (very steep hills, nearly impossible with luggage) end up waiting unnecessarily long to move luggage after check out. Not enough staff at the bar, waited long to receive a menu, then waited longer to be attended to. The furniture in the rooms can use an update.

We had a room with spectacular view. Room was very clean and comfortable, new plumbing.spotless towels. Breakfast was good with usual for Italian breakfast croissant, pastries , cheese, yogurt. There was modest variety for hot breakfast -fried egg, beacon, tomato. Hotel is part of group of 6 hotels Arbatax park resort. There are all located in same park area. Special bus could be used between hotels. We have visited few hotels and spent day on Dune hotel sandy beaches. Nature park, beaches, animals farm were amazing. We also visited Sardinian festival with local food and music in Telis hotel(part of resort). Borgo Cala Moresca is very charming. Sardinian style cottages are very special. We used free canoe at hotel beach. Beach is rocky but it is good for adult swim.it was good stay. We would like to comeback.

It is not what we didn’t like. It is something you need to be ready for: -Hotel is located on mountain hills. It will be unsuitable for people who can’t do a lot steps. It was 125 steps down to restaurant from our room. Some rooms have less steps but they don’t have view. -Internet is only in public places as reception, restaurant . -There was lack of information regarding events and locations. No map. We hardly get some information from entertainment team. Entertainment was on hold as hotel was only half full. -Pizzeria restaurant was closed.
