Garni Schenk was an excellent place to stay overall and very good value for the money. Staff was very friendly, the place was perfectly clean (we never saw another hotel that was so clean and spotless) and the smell was lovely, like fresh pastries! Our room was spacious and had a lovely balcony with the view to the village and mountains. No air conditioning, but it was not a problem since the nights in the dolomites are quite cold. Breakfast was very good and prepares you for the long day of hiking.

Parking space was a little tight, but you could always find room, good for a small car.

Very good location, within easy reach of the free bus and chairlifts, friendly staff, delicious breakfast and the room was super clean, warm and comfortable. Thank you.

It would have been nice to have access to a sauna after a long day of hiking but it only seems to be open in the winter? It was a lovely hotel to stay at however. I would love to return.

Really nice little hotel! The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, always greeted us with a smile and helped us with all our questions. The highlight for me staying there was the breakfast- delicious home made cakes, coffee and egg specials made on demand! The rooms were big and spacious, very clean and comfortable!

Hard to find anything we didn’t like - our room had a beautiful view but facing north so it was a little chilly to sit on your balcony.

The owner and staff are very hospitable! We got completely soaked on a rainy day hike, the lady at the reception was so kind to bring us into the dry room even with our soaking and muddy boots staining the hallway. The next day, we found that someone had stuffed newspaper into our boots to help them dry. It was such a warm touch. Not to mention, breakfast spread was amazing!

Nothing to dislike really. Maybe it’ll be good to have a kettle the make a hot cup of tea ?

Everything you need, Clean, Easy to check in, host was absolutely brilliant! Good communication before and very helpful and friendly advice when we arrived, property had all the facilities one would need, comfortable, decent wifi, everything about it was fantastic, great Location, Breakfast was great, again everything you need!

It was a lovely place. The WiFi was great, breakfast was perfect. The staff were lovely and would bring us coffee and eggs for breakfast as well.

The only thing is that you need to pay extra to use the kitchen and fridge.

Amazing accommodation! The bed was big and confortable, the room was very large with a big balcony, big bathroom and plenty of storage room. Everything was very clean, quiet. The towels were changed every two days which was more than enough and the room was cleaned every day. The breakfast was delicious, plenty of choices and very fresh. It was only 5 minutes away from the main cable car station and about 12-15 minutes from the center of town but the walk was always pleasant. If we come back to Selva we would definitely stay again at Garni Schenk!

Very nice hotel and the staff was helpful. The staff speaked mostly italian and german but we managed very well. Room was spacious and warm, very clean. We wouldn't have even needed the clening every day but they still did it. Beds were comfy, thick blankets and pillows. Some noise from the neighbours but not too much. Breakfast was amazing. A lot to choose from, fresh veggies and fruit, bread, yogurt, juice and pastries. Meat too but we are vegetarians.

We would have liked the option not to have room cleaning and opening of the balcony door. Parking spaces for less than 10 cars but during summer no problem.

Room was clean, modern and comfortable. Great location, with good access to the valley bus. Breakfast included an extensive range and was delicious.

Not having a guest laundry available and no electric kettle.

Located in a picturesque Val Gardena. Very quite place surrounded by breathtaking views. Very clean. Staff is very friendly, always there when you them. Exceptional and rich breakfast. We definitely would like to visit again.
