I have stayed many times in this historical villa on the Trento hills, with a small but very pleasant garden and a lovely mini-arboretum. Excellent location, secluded from town but easily accessible by car - (without a car, it's slightly more complicated). The rooms are comfortable, normally quiet, and and clean. The more expensive types have a lovely view on the mountains and the valley. For me one of the favourite aspects of a stay at Villa Madruzzo is the breakfast, with several freshly home made items such as cakes and scrambled eggs, and a large assortment of other offerings. The personnel in the breakfast room is also exceptionally kind and helpful (and personnel is very good in general). Prices vary quite considerably according to the type of room - over the years I have stayed a bit everywhere. I would say that the best "belvedere" rooms in the new building are very fully priced for the area, while the more modest types are squarely in line with the quality. Overall, this is certainly one of the very top and unique options for a stay in Trento and surroundings.

In my last visit, everything was great. In general, in my opinion, the organization of parking and of "traffic" on busy nights still has ample margins for improvement :-)

I have been here many times. This is a nice hotel with good breakfast, comfortable rooms and an extremely pleasant setting. The new building is particularly attractive, and the balconies are relaxing. Staff are polite. In particular, the Pakistani guy in the restaurant area is a superb professional. It's a little outside of town, on the hill, and you are better off with a car. Beside the hotel restaurant hotel itself, which I do not particularly recommend but appears to be very popular, there are a couple of decent or even good places just outside. Prices have gone up over the years, but after all so have costs, and they are still reasonable for the quality offered.

Parking is abundant but sometimes it becomes congested at dinner time. Mercifully they reserve a few slots for hotel guests, but it still can get a little chaotic.

Everything! The location is stunning on the hillside above Trento and from the minute you arrive the staff are so attentive and helpful. The bedroom was beautiful and spacious with a very comfortable bed. Apart from breakfast meals are taken among the trees in the garden which only adds to the experience. There is a separate spa facility with indoor pool hot-tubs sauna and treatments. Special mention of Georgia who supervises all outdoor meals and Tanvir and Paolo both of whom are charming. The perfect location if you want a peaceful break.

The hotelstaff is as friendly and helpful as can be. We even got personal recommendations for local small stores. We spent some time at the in-house spa that only costs 5€ extra p.p per day - which is totally worth the money. The breakfast and the restaurant at the hotel are amazing! We did get a free upgrade from an attic room to a regular one because of building works, so our room was definitely more than we expected! I would love to go again and would definitely recommend it!

The only thing that I thought was a little odd, was that smoking is allowed on the patio that belongs to the spa -which depending on the amount of smokers can limit the experience for non-smokers.

The hotel obviously has an excellent Chef and kitchen staff as the food was exceptional! Breakfast was varied, hygenically presented and fresh. The dinner menu was imaginative, delicious and beautifully prepared. In fact we decided not to eat out in the evenings as we were so happy. A special mention must be made regarding every single staff member we encountered, who were without exception, courteous, friendly and helpful. They made us feel so at home that it was geuninely difficult to leave! Since it was a quiet time of year we were even given a free upgrade, which was a lovely surprise.

We cannot think of anything that could have been improved.

The personnel are superb and this hotel has the finest lunch and dinner preparations in all of northern Italy

The parking situation must at sometime be addressed because there are too few parking spaces for the combination of hotel guests and restaurant visitors

We have been at the Hotel for a second time, and everything has been exceptional each time. Very friendly personal, always available for help and support. The villa has a romantique atmosphere surrounded by green valley. The hotel offers delicious breakfast, swimming pool and spa. There is attention in everything. One of the best stay for us, when traveling as a family. We will come back there every time we travel in the North Italy.

Nothing really to complain.

An exceptional quality for the money. I had a nicely updated room with a tea kettle and refrigerator well stocked with drinks. I wish I had discovered sooner the luxurious spa treatments and the swimming pool. A caring and friendly staff. All this in a spectacular location with the views of the Dolomites, and only a 10-minute drive from Trento and a 3-minute walk from the Gorge of Ponte Alto.

The heat and the mosquitoes, not anyone's fault :-) The parking can get crowded as the outdoor restaurant is very popular. There is an option for the hotel guests to park in the garage though.

Check in was very fast. It turned out we booked a single room and triple , we clarified that it was a mistake and the room was changed for the bigger one.

The spa experience. Nobody explain where is the shower and strangely it was no shower next to the sauna and steam. Also hotel gives one towel only to use in the spa . But how is it possible if you need one in sauna and the pool , then later after taking shower? There were non in the spa. 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️ Seriously? Also the shower handle in the steam room was broken.

We had a comfortable family room in the new building with a very nice view of the surrounding vineyards. The room was large and well suited for a family of three people. The historic building and the furnishings are very stylish and well maintained. The breakfast offer was large and varied.

Not in walking distance to Trento old city. However, the hotel facility itself and the surroundings are beautiful and the dinner is served in the hotel restaurant as well.
