Sure was a wonderful experience to stroll the grounds and absorb the artifacts! Nice touch by the Chef to welcome us for Dinner speaking English:) Breakfast was delicious as well!

First you need to find the actual entrance Gate! Hard to see the signs! Then ring the bell, and voila there is The path of steep uphill cobblestone to the parking area ! Check in lady was stressed despite we arrived at check in time!

The staff was outstanding. One of the friendliest and enjoyable hotel staff we have ever encountered. The building is very historic and amazing. It is fixed up enough to be clean and comfortable yet original enough to be fascinatingly historical, like visiting an old castle. The views are great. The combination of staff and building and views was very, very special. The dinner and breakfast were very good and it was nice not having to leave for dinner upon arrival. The hotel has its own house red wine which was also a treat. We would definitely return.

Certainly a unique & quirky experience Lovely old chateau. When we arrived we thought , oh no what have we done . Whilst the place is old it is full of charm & the views are lovely. The staff were very friendly & helpful The evening meal was amazing. Certainly not what we expected. Staying in a place like this are the experiences a holiday are made of. It is basic & rustic so don’t expect luxury. Was comfortable & good hot shower .

No facilities to have a cup of tea . Staff do make one for you, however you do pay

I really liked the location, far from hustle and bustle of the town. I also liked the shift back in time because I really came there to look for my family roots, trying to understand the spirit of the area and era. Preplastic, and pre mass tourism. I liked the green of the balcony and the old tiles and wooden beams. I liked pretty much everything.

Everything was ok, but TV set was kind of out of place in such a room. It drags us back to present day. To experience the life people once had in those hills you don't really need it.

We drove a van (6 people) and followed google maps to get there- took us up a long windy road meant only for small cars and preferably only going one direction. There was a safer way to go with larger vehicles- would’ve been nice to know of it before the trip (not the properties fault how Google maps took us there, but maybe a warning to avoid that road)

While staying there, the staff and some other guests (!!!) were harassed by a Swedish couple. I have never seen anything like that. That horrid woman was allergic to almost everything (as she was laudly repeating, but obviously not to the wine) comanding the staff and guests. I think, first, the reception guy was a hero, and second, there should be some mechanisms to shut up people like that.

This is a wonderful quirky place to stay, no photo can give it justice. Must be hundreds of years old. Really worth staying the villa is amazing and the views stunning. But this is an old quirky building you have to appreciate its individuality. Dinner was fantastic too. They were very happy with our dog being with us.

I liked the atmosphere of the property and the reception of the staff was very friendly. I also liked the old and spacious building! Dinner and breakfast were basic but good. Loved our big bed and the view on the Trento Valley

the shower was basic, as was the bathroom itself. But the whole building compensates for it.

The property is a magical place with beautiful, rustic, old world charm. We had read other reviews but were not expecting the spectacular views, expansivenwss of the property, abundance of gorgeous flowers, countless hidden historical treasures, and special ambiance. The staff is warm and welcoming with casual confidence. Dinner was delicious. And, the price was more than reasonable.

There are some areas that are in disrepair and unused rooms that are messy but, to be honest, it kind of added to the charm.
