Location and room are beyond my expectation, I totally love. Breakfast is also great. Unfortunately, we don't have chance to taste Michelin star restaurant as it was fully booked during our stay. Anyhow your reception is really helpful and great service-minded recommended very cozy and delicious restaurant for us. Again million thanks, please convey my message to her as well :)

Haven't had chance to try your swimming pool, which is really nice. I wish I could but short period staying. If I had a chance to visit Trieste next time I will definitely do it :)

amazing location for this definite Grand Hotel. situated right on the square I can’t imagine a better spot . service was impeccable and great restaurant recommendations in a city full of great food . Room was very elegant but also really practical with a view across the main square . if you have a chance check out the pool and sauna in the basement! totally unexpected and fun spot for a quick splash. if you’re going on a cruise this hotel is literally a 7 minute walk to where you’ll board

it was expensive but I knew that when I booked. they do have this weird AC system that kept having to be reset from the front desk. never really understood what that was about but they seemed to know it was an issue

This hotel is luxurious, glamorous, and centrally located in the historic Piazza Unita D'Italia. This place is perfect for anyone looking to relax while experiencing the local culture of Trieste. This hotel has a restaurant on site that has two Michelin stars, a thermal water pool that is open year-round, and rooms with splendid views of the Pizza Unita D'Italia. Although a little pricey, I felt that every Euro spent on this property was well worth it. The hotel's staff and the way in which the hotel was designed allowed me to rest during my one night's stay while enjoying the culture and cuisine of Italy at the same time, without having to stress. Upon arrival I was greeted with a welcome beverage, in the evening I was able to order Room Service after a late night of swimming and relaxation in their thermal pool, and in the morning I was able to enjoy a delicious Italian breakfast and make arrangements for the property's Front Desk to help me send postcards home during check-out. The room I stayed in had an excellent view of the Piazza Unita D'Italia and the interior was luxurious, with furniture that reflected the richness of Trieste's mixed Italian and Austro-Hungarian past. The staff treated me with respect and care at all times, the property was clean and comfortable, and the location of this hotel allowed me to leisurely walk around Trieste with ease.

I wish I could have stayed here longer and if I ever return to Trieste, I will do my best to stay at this hotel again.

I was welcomed with a glass of wine and was able to do an early check in, so the first impression was really good. Everything else was perfect as well, all the things I was interested in seeing on my one day city break were a few steps away, the room was super comfortable and relaxing in the pool area was the highlight of my stay (it was about 35°C outside, plus I am obsessed with hotel pools). Special thanks to Ivan from the reception who answered all my questions and there were a lot of them 😊 Will 100% be back.

the best thing was staff- service- friendly, welcoming atmosphere! waiters in the bar and restaurant were extremely nice- professional but friendly. we really felt welcomed. also both porters were very nice, helpful and friendly. location is perfect, interior charming and most importantly very clean. free drinks in a minibar - very thoughtful because it was extremely hot outside. definitely worth staying.

Very high value receptionist! We talked about Trieste of course, but also philosophy, weather, literature, city-planning. She deserves a pay rise. Don't let some other hotel head-hunt her. And this was the first time in 4 weeks of travel, I was ever escorted to my room! (I am usually expected to find it by myself)

Less traffic noise outside. But this is Trieste, after all. The only real solution is triple-glazing, not double-glazing (which just doesn't cut it under pressure). I aim writing this review from Venice where there is literally no traffic noise, and no cars, at all

Lovely property, excellent location and very helpful staff. Very comfortable beds and linens. Delightful breakfast.

Room 201 is next to a bar in the neighboring building that has an outdoor loud speaker that is only 10 meters from the windows and this bombards you with “music” until the wee hours of the morning. I recommend not selecting the lowest category room. This is a superior property but I learned my lesson.

Very well appointed amenities. Nicely designed rooms, with welcome snack in room as well as complimentary drinks in refrigerator (much appreciated after a long train ride). Great location if you are taking a cruise the next day. Centrally located next to city center restaurants and shops.

Our shower did have a bit of a leak out the shower door when water sprayed

Loved the proximity to the sea and the central piazza. Very professional and attentive staff. They made great restaurant recommendations and stepped up to assist when I arrived without luggage (lost in transit by the airline). They did all the communication with airport to track my luggage. Would definitely stay again !!!

The hotel is a great combination of old world charm and modern facilities. The lobby bar is quite nice with sophisticated service and good selection of drinks. Location is amazing at one of the nicest piazzas in the city.

The rooms are a little bit too small as expected from old buildings in this part of the world. However, they are well decorated and well-stocked.
