Modern hostel with clean rooms and nice facilities on the ground floor (small kitchen and sitting area). The location is its best selling point. In the middle of the kitchen district of Kappabashi and within walking distance of Asakusa (10min) or Ueno (20min). Even though you're staying so close to everything the area is quite.

The walls are thin so you can hear quite some sounds from the hallway and other guests. They have a quite time policy, so the nuisance was kept to a minimum.

The location is very convenient, kombinis and stores are very close, Senso-ji is 15min away and Ueno 25min. The reception is very nice and there are several good public transportation routes nearby.

Please keep in mind, that the room is pretty narrow and it's a bit hard to store/use big suitcases inside.

very clean, confortable beds, it is small apartment but very good for what it is offering. My boyfriend is tall (1.80) and he didn´t have any issues with sleeping. It was a very good value for money. For us location was ok, close to the metro (but we like to walk). The kitchen is shared and looked ok and clean

-washing machine you have to pay extra and drying is not working properly. We had to put the clothes 3 times to dry. I think they need to extend the drying time. - they don't have lockers, so you have to pay (I think was around 200 yen) per luggage so they can keep it at the reception. I think this is not fair, since in all the other hotels/hostels I have stayed In Japan..I never paid to keep my backpack at the reception (if there are no lockers this should not be charged in my opinion)

All the facilities were very clean. It’s a bit of a walk from Ueno station but it’s located in a quite neighborhood. There’s even a nice little park across the street. The bed was amazing. Firm, clean, and just what I needed after a long day in Tokyo. The shower and bathroom were extremely clean and free of mold. The property also has a nice common room with a kitchen. Great for cooking up something or chatting with the staff at night. The staff was also great. Very helpful, kind, and fun to talk with.

Everything was great. Hotels in Tokyo tend to be on the small side but my room was perfect. The shower is a bit small but it gets the job done. Nothing major to complain about.

Nice staff (always friendly, asked about my day, gave recommendations on what to do etc). The facility was clean and small but had everything necessary (I stayed in a private room). There's a kitchen downstairs that you can use (it has all the stuff you need to make a nice meal). The next street is Kappabashi Kitchen Street, Asakusa is within 10 minutes of walking distance, subway and train stops are within 10 minutes of walking distance. I usually stay at hotels but after this experience, I'm sure I'll consider hostels more! Thank you - I had a lovely stay!

I wish my room had a window I could see out of, but for understandable reasons, it had to be covered. That's the only thing.

The hostel is located on a quiet street in Asakusa. It’s a relaxed area just outside the hustle and bustle, though there are bars and restaurants close by. The staff at the hostel were lovely. They were helpful and friendly and genuinely interested in what we had been doing in Tokyo. We stayed during a typhoon and they provided useful written travel updates each morning. The room was comfortable and larger than I had expected after staying in other Tokyo hotels. The kitchen / social area downstairs had complimentary tea and coffee - a nice way to start the day. Thanks for a great stay!

Nothing comes to mind. I could have stayed for longer and would stay again when I come to Tokyo.

Walking distance to Asakusa temple and the neighborhood, Kappabashi dori, is lovely. I stayed alone so I don't have problem with room size and bed. Great shower. Very lovely staffs! They're very friendly and supportive. The lounge at 1st floor has big projector and always leave some anime turned on, which is nice :)

Nothing much to complain only the way to use air conditioner is a bit confusing for me but not a major problem!

the staff are very friendly and helpful! location is great, very quiet at night. laundry, microwave and kitchen stuff in the communal area was very appreciated. the shower was bigger than expected. our room was also equipped with an air purifier which is a nice bonus! we also liked the little outdoor seating area in front of the hostel.

the room is lacking storage options - even in a small space, it could be improved a lot by installing some more hangers or simple shelves on the wall. the sink was severly slanted, pointing downwards toward you at a noticeable angle and making everything you put on the sink slide off.

The staff are very accommodating and friendly. Private room for two is enough if you have just 1 hand carry and 1 20-kg baggage. I also love that they have a co-working space where you can lounge around, eat your meals, plug in your laptop, all for free! The place is also near tourist attractions in the Asakusa area.

Nearest station is approximately an eight to ten-minute walk. If you do not mind walking, that would not be a problem. However, since we stayed here during the summer, the summer heat while walking to the station was something we had to endure. Regardless, it would not be much of an issue, had it not been for the extra extra summer heat in Japan.

We travelled with my partner just the two of us, and looked for a good location for our stay. I can tell, we found it. The staff were really helpful and kind, we even get a little present on our last day. The room was what we expected, small but neat and also clean. The metro and combi store was also quite close and great tradicional restaurants nearby to try. Fantastic. I hope we will come back.

I just wanted to suggest some shelves near the mirror area, as the room is preatty small, it can be more convenient for those who are not alone. Unfortunatelly the ac was noisy, but it can be fixed in no time.
