good location, great amenities, very comfortable and spacious.

little pricey. i had the weirdest experience checking in, i don't know if the person was new or was bad with english, but they made me feel extremely uncomfortable, repeating several times how the beds are only for sleeping, like it was implying that i would do anything else. That just ruined my day. They didn't explain nothing correctly, all information i got from notices on the wall. However everything else was good, but it still made a dent on my stay

This is luxury for backpackers. It’s worth going to fujinomiya to stay here if you are a bit fatigued by all the budget travelling. Except for the temperature control it was a fantastic experience. I had a bigger cubicle but even if you had the usual capsule room it would still be many times better than other capsule hostels and dorm hostels.

The only thing that was difficult was the heating. It was too hot when I arrived and but when I raised it with the staff they opened the windows which helped. I think I’m general the staff maybe a bit confused about what suitable temperature is. I mean this is a cold place at a cold time of year so I’m wearing thermal underwear when not fully dressed so 25 degrees is not appropriate. And at night when you want to sleep the temperature needs to be cool because the doona is going to make you hot if the thermostat is not cold. There is no sheet just a thick doona. But at least when I raised the problem the staff would always adjust the temperature to make it more comfortable.

A capsule hotel without the capsules. The sleeping area is partitioned with walls, furnished with a single bed, charging area and TV with adequate height to stand. There is a shared living room and bathroom which were clean and spacious and is conveniently located near train station within walking distance. Staff is amenable and able to speak fluently in English. Guests are also given a locker space to store items. There are rules for guests to follow, to ensure that the sleeping area is as quiet as possible.

The sleeping area doesn't come with full walls, but are about 7/8th, probably for airflow, however, this comes with the problem of insufficient sound proofing and your sleep may be disturbed by snoring. However, given the low price paid for the room, this is what I have paid for and accept. Locker space may not be large enough for your luggage bag. I slept with my luggage as a result. Since it was a one night stay, I did not enquire with staff if they have other storage options for luggage.

Excellent hostel. Great location, 8 mins from stations, from here you can get to anywhere easily. In centre of the town of nice coffee shops, 7/11’s etc. fab view of Mount Fuji. Staff lovely but little to no English. Exceptionally clean, showers great. Bed space good having really high ceiling. Although beds in one big room, layout good so no problem. I didn’t find it noisy. Microwave only for heating food. Hot water available for drinks 24/7

No kitchen area - so no plates/cutlery etc. no cooking facilities. Wasn’t really a problem as microwave, but it is nicer to have a kitchen.

It was incredibly clean. The room was nice and spacious, with a comfortable bed. Staff spoke fluent English, and were very polite. Possible to leave luggage for hours after check out. Massage chair was a plus.

No elevator. If you have heavy luggage it might be a hassle to carry up the stairs.

Great staff, seriously! They made my time there as enjoyable, as it coul've been. Super helpful and they have a couple English speaking hosts that helped me, a lot! Perfect location if you are looking for nice place before and after going to Mt. Fuji. A couple blocks away from the train/bus stations, too.

Smoking rooms are too close to the dorm entrances and it is easy to filter through the bathrooms and rooms. Most japanese people smoke, so expect that to be a thing.

Each bed is individually segregated into a "mini room" which provides more privacy for each guest. The bathroom, washroom and washing areas are very clean, provided with body wash, shampoo, conditioner, facial wash, hair dryer. Tooth brush and tooth paste are not provided, but can be purchased at relatively low price.

No idea if towel is provided or not, but I saw that it can be rented on the counter, hence paid ¥100 for one bath towel, but I think there are some towels provides when entered the lounge area. Perhaps is also my fault for not clarifying.

Much better than expected. Good value for money and only 5mins walk to the train/bus station. There was also a cute market on the street outside one of the days we stayed. Small kitchen facilities but a nice communal space and the dorms are super spacious and comfortable. Very clean. Not much space to have your luggage near you. But they also keep luggage before and after check in/out for free.

Honestly one of the best place I have been at this price in the world! Feel luxury at a fair price! The lounge with massage chair, the cabin is comfy and it is 3min walk from a shrine and Fuji world center. Views of Fuji from down the street is amazing! If you are hesitant, just go!!!

By far the best hostel i visited so far! The staff frequently cleans the showers and toilets. It's a 5 min walk from the station, the cabin is spacious and cozy. They let me extend my stay for another night to which i was very grateful for. The price is reasonable since they go out of their way to make sure everything is clean! Definitely recommend!

It could've been a little darker when i wanted to go to sleep.
