The staffs were very pleasant and friendly. Eason was excellent and he was very helpful, especially he speaks our language that really makes our travel a lot more easier. He helped us to make restaurant reservations, car rental……, it’s not the same without him. Greatly appreciated!!

The hotel room smelled stinky. The carpet was so old especially on the 12th floor, very disappointed, it did not meet the Grand Hyatt standard.

Room was spacious and beds were comfortable. Food and service at the Club lounge was superb. The staff was very professional, friendly and helpful. Staff at concierge was most helpful.

The room was a bit too warm even when the heat was turned off. The Dyson fan provided helped a bit. It would be useful if USB chargers were present by the bedside.

The front desk staff was super attentive and professional. Very polite, best I have seen.

The clean up lady threw away my wife's floss that was saved in the same glass as her tooth brush. It was a blue string floss. They should not touch personal items. Breakfast was pricey and well as the spa. Taxi was about the best transportation as the train station had too many walk up steps to get to the actual train.

The hotel staffs are fluent in English, they are very efficient and friendly which you will find great service here.

The air conditioner in my room does not work well so that our room temperature always stay at 24 - 25 degree Celsius. I contacted the front desk and they unlock the windows in the room so that we can open it to allow fresh air flow inside to lower the temperature.

The staff were super friendly. The room deco is a bit old fashioned, but maintained very well.

The location - I usually prefer staying at Hakata or Tenjin because there are more shopping malls in those two regions. But if shopping is not part of your travel plan, this may not be a disadvantage. You will get Kushida Jinja in return. ;)

The rooms are extremely comfortable. Mine had a lovely soaking tub and great shower, and the amenities were top-class.

Some of the staff told us some wrong information. For example, we asked for a bar and they said there wasn't one, just this very not-worth-the-price-buffet. Going back to the room, we passed a bar. Much, much nicer than the buffet. I think they are doing this while they remodel a restaurant, so I hope they finish the remodel soon. Or educate their staff a bit better.

Location was perfect. Connected to the mall gives lots of convenience. Staff of Grand Hyatt, Malla and a french staff from the concierge also extremely helpful and try their best to solve our queries.

If you drive from other parts of Fukuoka to the hotel, they expect you to park at basement first. Before unloading.

They demanded advance payment , which is very unusual . For cash they accept only yen. And , instead of recommending a formal exchange office , they expect you to exchange dollar one by one at the machine 🤣🙄

Wide selection for breakfast (asian and western)

Room temperature was a little too warm for us and the aircon could not be adjusted. We turned off the aircon and requested the front desk to open the windows for us as the temperature outside was cooler.

We really enjoyed the room, the hard pillows were great, loved the bathroom with shower/tub close to each other. bonus was the changing/ closet room - -very - very good. We've stayed at quite a few hotels in Japan, I believe this will be our favorite

Having to pay to use the spa ! !
