Great location, close to the JR Hakodate station and Tram stop is right in front of the hotel. Very convenient. There are a lot of restaurants around too, and the morning market is just few blocks away. The breakfast omg was superb. For a budget hotel, I expected toasts. But they provided a variety of options such as rice, omellette, sausages, sweet sour popcorn chicken, like 5 kinds of salad/side dishes, yogurt with 2 fruit topping options, 2 smoothies, 4 kinds of bakery items, and 2 kinds of soups. I stayed for 2 days and the number of varieties were always that many! And it's always getting topped up! Very happy about it! Staff were also helpful and can speak enough English or use app to translate. So no problem at all.

The corridors outside the rooms are not heated up. And they don't provide face wash/skin care. But I'm really being picky here.

Located right next to the train station, so it was easy to get to and the check-in experience was easy with my basic Japanese. The room was pretty standard for a Japanese business hotel, although perhaps a bit bigger than most. The laundry facilities were appreciated as was the free breakfast, which while nothing special, was also far from bed.

There is only one elevator and it's a bit of a pain. They have it on a loop, so as someone on the second floor, it would only appear to come to me if it had gone all the way to the top first. That meant I had at least one occasion where it got back to me and was too busy for to get in after waiting for five minutes, which was a bit frustrating.

Property is just 2 mins walk from train station. Tram stop is in front of hotel. Many eateries within walking distance, so are the mini marts. Fish market is also very close by. Check-in was a breeze. Staff friendly and efficient. The room is very compact, the normal japanese business hotel. Opening large luggage will be a problem. Breakfast provided is decent. Wifi connection is great. There are sufficient power outlet.

The TV is like the 90s desktop monitor.

Within walking distance to Hakodate train station and streetcar stop is just right in front of the hotel. The room was compact, however enough for me as a solo traveler. I like the breakfast although is simple but healthy. Difficult to get a healthy meal overseas so this breakfast is just right for me. It come with fruits smoothies, salads, scrambled eggs, sausage, multigrain rice, two kind of soup… etc The staffs are friendly and helpful when I ask them for directions to places of interest and recommendations of store selling sport shoes when mine wear out. Thanks to the staff who I spoke to as I didn’t ask her for her name. I stayed there for 3 nights and I like it when the cleaner do the clean up she does change the new nightwear for me although I didn’t expect since the nightwear is self collect at the counter. I was also provided 2 towels everything in pairs although only 1 person for my stay.

Think don’t have

The breakfast is solid. We stayed 5-nights. I liked that there were toaster ovens at all times: make your bento box tempura crispy! Rooms, a bit small, but comfy and clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. Cleaning staff awesome! 😘 Kitchen staff lovely! 🤗 It's a super convenient location, and the price to performance ration is GREAT! We paid $50 per night for two including breakfast, so no complaints. Streetcar tram stop right in front! 7-Eleven across the road. Morning market a block away. JR Station, right there.

Are there more luxurious hotels? Sure. But expect to pay a premium. If you want more luxury and space, I recommend LC Goryokaku Hotel.

checkin/out is efficient, staff is friendly and helpful, we stayed in 2 rooms for a party of 3, rooms are small but adequate, no views but quiet . rooms are comfortable warm in winter, it is clean and well maintain. location is the best, near JR station, near Toyota rental , near tram station. near the morning market which is 5 min walk. enjoyed the morning breakfast which had western and japanese food plus coffee and fruits and yoghurt. lots of great food nearby . a good ramen place and a yakiniku place just next door.

no views. do ask for rooms with views which i think is only the first rooms on every floor. the hotel is just next to a tall building.

Complimentary breakfast was great, with small variations from day to day. Perfect for a quick bite/drink before heading out to the morning market, or having a more complete meal for the rest of the day. Room was clean with all the standard facilities such as humidifier, warm/cold air conditioning. Location was next to a Tram station, the main train station as well as the bus station, extremely convenient.

Minor nitpick: the amenities provided in the lobby was just bathrobe and razors and green tea. More products like skincare would have been even better! There is abit of waiting time for the lift as its a single lift serving 9 floors.

It is 5 minutes away from the shin-hakodate hokuto station which was wonderful as well as minutes away by foot from the tram stop and places to eat. We also love the breakfast there it was probably one of the best on our trip. They changed the menu every day but had items that stayed every day which was very refreshing to eat. They also had amazing pastries.

Honestly the only thing that I can think of is that the beds weren't extremely comfortable. But if that's the only thing that I didn't like I think it's a wonderful place to stay.

The room itself was nothing special, but I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of room I had to walk around even with two double beds and a reasonably sized bathroom. There is nearby (paid) parking just behind the hotel, and it's a short walk from the station and surrounded by plenty of restaurants.

I found the staff polite enough, if perhaps a little stiff and less warm than other places I'd stayed, but not a big deal. My bedroom view was of the alleyway and next doors roof, but nothing unexpected from a budget hotel.

nice breakfast, not just breads but also warm food, some cut up fruit (apples/mango cubes). Small breakfast area but was enough as they informed us during golden week what peak hours would be. Close to station and the morning market. Walkable to most sights in centre of Hakodate. Close to 7-eleven and Family Mart

Just one elevator for the whole building, so a couple of times especially during check-out hours it was a bit of a wait.
