Staff was very friendly during check in and they even spoke English, which was very helpful. They let me park on-site, which cost 900yen. If their lot is full, there is a paid parking lot on the corner available too. The single room was very spacious, clean and modern. The location is perfect, just a few minutes walking from the castle site and there are plenty of restaurants nearby, as well as konbini across the road. Morioka is a wonderful city and I am glad I stayed here!

Nice, cozy hotel to stay in Morioka. Hotel was located about a 10 minute bus ride and few minute walk from Morioka Station (or a 30 minute walk). There are 2 convenience stores located in front of the hotel as well as a park and restaurants within walking distance. Would recommend. Advice for how to get to the hotel: go to the bus loop in front of Morioka station and ask which bus goes via 市役所前(shiyakusyo-mae meaning city hall), the hotel is only a few minutes down the road from the city hall.

Room was a little small but nice!

Comfortable and quiet room which is actually pretty large for a Japanese hotel. Close to all the main shopping and food areas and about a 25 minute walk from the station but was a nice walk. Japanese breakfast each morning was also great with a variety of little foods to try out. There is a Lawsons right across the road from the entrance. Staff were friendly and helpful on checkin and spoke English.

Was confused trying to find the place as it is also called hotel du nord but eventually figured it out

Room 409 is comfortable and clean. The bed is comfortable. The room includes a bathroom with a bath, a fridge, a desk, a hairdryer and cosmetics. It's nice that there is a window in the room. Great location of the facility, close to attractions. Very nice and helpful staff. There are several convenience stores (combini) next to the building

Great location right inbetween the station and the more touristic area of Morioka. Everything needed is provided and the bed was quite comfortable. Convenient stores right across the entrance.

Typical for Japanese buildings, the window can't be open fully. Be aware of the name Hotel du Nord which is on the outside of the Hotel

Really clean and well-maintained hotel. Fantastic value with helpful staff, and located right in the center of most hot-spots in Morioka. One of the best hotels we stayed at during our trip.

Great little hotel. We git 2 single rooms as i was with my daughter and they were small but sufficient! They also put our rooms next to eachother which is nice. We had a car so the location was good for us but i cant comment if you are on foot.

Easily accessible by bus. Quiet area, near the Morioka park and main streets. Room was nice and met all our expectations.

Building marked as "Hotel du Nord" instead of "Kita Hotel", which can be confusing since that name is not on Booking.

The rooms were comfortable and the staff was helpful with booking a taxi to the train station for our departure. It was great to be near Uchimaru to eat and easily cross the river to explore other neighborhoods.

Fantastic breakfast, best I had on my whole trip. Great location just a stones throw from the beautiful morioka castle park.

Bed was very small for two - in Australia we’d call it a king single, not a double.
