The B2 level was directly connected to the subway station. The concierge was very capable and helped me book an airport transfer for our last day. The hotel is near the Shinsaibashi suji shopping area and a few minutes walk to the Glico Man area. Lots of free amenities in the bathroom and attentive staff. Overall it was a pleasant stay. :)

The pillows were a bit stiff, but nothing major.

Our room and amenities were superb. We did pay extra to have a larger room as rooms in Japan can tend to be small. The location is perfect and if you are a high end shopper this is your part of town. The Japanese buffet on the first 2 days was wonderful.. Too bad we had to go to another dining room on day 3, satisfactory, but utilitarian. The staff and hotel were well equipped to help us ship our bags to our next hotel. This is a great service in Japan and works like a charm.

The hotel is very strict about not allowing check in until 3:00pm and as a result you have to wait in a fairly long line (for this quality hotel} during check in. I was not impressed. The hotel was very full so they were using two dining rooms for breakfast, one for Japanese and one for Western breakfast and that worked well for our first 2 days, the Japanese breakfast, then they went back to one dining room and the buffet was chaos and the Japanese choices were not as good. The room was crowded and no direction was set up for rotating around the buffet and people were crashing into one another. Also, they appeared to favor the Japanese guests and offered us not so great seating when there were better available in the room they use for both breakfasts.

Stayed in a premium double .The size of the room was great the shower room in the bathroom was excellent .These guys don’t miss a thing when it came to shampoos ect there were more products in the bathroom that you could point a stick at .The view was amazing .The concierge was very helpful when helping us book tickets to the aquarium.I mentioned it was my birthday and that afternoon when we arrived back there was a nice little box of chocolates and a card .Walked out one day and it was raining the door man was quick to offer a umbrella .Great service great location ,just a great experience all round .Would stay here any time I was in Osaka

Nothing all good here

Everything EXCEPT its policy of checking in of all guest will start at 3pm sharp for the reason that the guests rooms are not yet ready. I’ve been to 38 countries and this is the only hotel with this policy. You can just imagine the build-up of guests come 3pm, the only time they will start to process all incoming guests for the day. In all other hotels that we’ve been to, they will do the check-in process upon arrival and will just hand over the room keys at check-in time or if you are lucky and the hotel management is considerate that you’ve travelled a long way, the will allow early check-in depending on room availability.

Absurd policy on check-in. They should consider re-assessing their procedure. In japan alone, we’ve been able to stay in 16 hotels to be exact but we never encountered this kind of check-in policy. We arrived before 12noon, then came back 230pm, still, they did not do the check in and advise us to wait for 3pm even there are numerous front desk staff at the counter

The location was excellent for our first visit to Osaka, we would stay in this area again. The concierge and other staff were exceptional helping my wife to locate, and retrieve her lost passport from Narita airport in Tokyo. They really provided superb service and support. In addition they provided great local restaurant/bar advise that helped us quickly learn about the wonderful Osaka cuisine. Public transport connections were excellent.

Nothing - we were very happy with the hotel.

A preface, we only had a couple of days in Osaka so couldn't properly explore the city... Perfect location for us. Apart from the fact that in the hotel is built directly above a subway station, you are a minute away from the undercover shopping mall-y street of Shinsaibashi. A 10 min walk will take you to Dotonbori and all its fun. Plethora of bars/restaurants/izakayas that if any one of them upped sticks and came to where we're from, would probably be the best restaurant in town... On the other side of the hotel is a couple of blocks of a more arty street vendor shopping feel. Hotel was clean and well laid out. Rooms were clean and modern. Staff were well trained, happy and helpful.

Nope, it was all pretty good. Take notice of the signs in reception about when you should go to the buffet breakfast to avoid the crowds, because it does get a bit wild in there. Even after 2 years of all the shet we learned through Covid, the public are still animals...

Room is big enough for one person. Very friendly staff. Location inside metro also near Dotonbori you can walk or use the metro. If you want to reach the hotel from metro go to exit 8 use elevator to floor 2 (reception) then you can change elevator for rooms floor. If you exit the metro from the other side, you can't go back to exit 8 you will have to go out then walk to the hotel.

Water temperature was not stable. Wi-Fi is slow and one bar coverage maybe from my room or floor even my phone mobile data is slow. Poor soundproof you can hear cars and bikes from the window.

This was our second time crashing at this hotel, and the vibes were still on point. It lived up to my expectations, no letdowns here. The room was clean and had plenty of space. Shoutout to the helpful concierge for being super convenient with luggage storage before and after checking in/out. Plus, the place is with its direct exit connecting to the subway, and bam, you're right across from Daimura, Parco, and a bunch of fancy shops. I've found the most wonderful massage shop near by the hotel that a bonus. Flip it around, and you've got the American Village at the back, bringing a mix of different cultures to the scene. Tons of cool eateries and shopping hotspots in the area. Oh, and getting to Kansai International Airport is a breeze with the hotel shuttle or a taxi & train combo. Most of the places that we visited were in short walking distance. Long story short, Hotel Nikko Osaka is our go-to if we're hitting up Shinsabushi again.

Hmm...the only little thing that we wanted to picky is we did this pre-check-in thing since we rolled up to the hotel at 11 am, and they said the room would be ready after 2 pm. Cool, right? Not really. We still had to stand in line again to scan our document again and grab our room key, totally defeating the purpose of pre-checking in. Ended up queuing twice, and it felt like a total time-waster. Not cool.

- Staff very helpful & kind, that’s very important - very accessible to train station which is actually just below or right beside the hotel - near are 2 big department stores right across hotel - short, few minutes walk to Dotonbori area - I love the fact that our room was facing the shopping area side. It was facing the back area at first & requested to be transferred

- air conditioning in our room isn’t cool enough. The lowest you can set it is at 20 Celsius but it actually felt like it’s at 22 or 23 Celsius. A staff came up to try & fix it but couldn’t. He offered an electric fan if it’s going to be bothersome. We didn’t ask the fan anymore as it might take up so much space. Room isn’t that big too
