Honesty and dependability: My highest accolades go to the staff for what could have been a heartbreaking experience elsewhere. The day AFTER I had checked out of the hotel, my son asked me about my camera (NIKON with 2 zoom lens and bag), which immediately I had realized that I left it in the nightstand cabinet near the bed! When I went into my booking.com app to try and message the property, I realized that I had missed their attempts to contact me. I was very pleased they had reached out to me - apparently my husband also left 2 clothing items in his side of the bed too. Being that I work at a location 5 hours away (drive), I requested if they could send my goods via courier. They sent it via Cash On Delivery, which surprisingly only cost approximately 1300Y. I liked that for the toilet, vanity area, and shower room, that this area had a sliding door to close it off from the main bedroom. Quiet place, we were able to rest well. A clothing iron was available upon request for pickup down at the lobby for a deposit of 500Y. Short stroll to Dotonburi!

The carpet is dingy and could use replacement. DO NOT park out in front of the hotel with the paid street parking. I'm still not familiar with reading the signs and after finally paying the bill (can only use 1,000 yen or smaller at the vending machine), my bill for 2 nights cost 17,000Y (approx $130 USD) - yikes! It's as if I had paid a hotel room cost for my rental vehicle! Not much walking space at the foot of the bed - room is quite smaller than I had expected. It would be helpful to have a sign in ENGLISH saying... to check in, please proceed to the (2nd) floor via elevator. I was confused at first, trying to find my way around all corners of the exterior ground floor.

The staff there is friendly and helpful. The location is convenient because it's close to Shinsaibashi and Namba station, which takes about 10 minutes to walk there.

Convenient amemura district

Overall stay was nice, extremely convenient to party area, amemura, the only thing annoying was the elevator always stops at level 2 reception, so no matter if you go other floors you have to stop there and elevator takes forever.

This hotel was modern and traditional at the same time. It is a little further from the main area than other hotels however, this was not an issue for us. We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this hotel. The free samples of skin care, coffee and tea and the communal laptops in the lobby were great.

Location is very good. The room was really quiet which was great. Very clean hotel and sstaff were really nice. Room (double) is a little small but a great big bathroom and separate toilet which was great.
