I can say this was one of the best stay experience in my hokkaido. some of the highlights are- 1. Very spacious front desk, it feels like you are at a palace. 2. Very supportive staff at front desk 3. You will get free lounge access at your floor 4. Big and spacious rooms and same for bathroom. 5. Nice in-room amenities. 6. Beautiful view from room of river and mountain ( do book river view rooms) 7. Good breakfast options even for vegetarian

I feel that hotel has started to show impact or aging and need little renovation 😬

Stayed here for 2 nights during the last weekend of the snow festival. The airport bus stops right outside the hotel which was a plus in the mounds of snow and ice, there's also a free shuttle bus that runs every hour from the hotel to JR Sapporo station. There's another bus stop a 2 min walk from the hotel where you can take buses to Susukino/central areas which was very convenient. The room had more than enough space for 3 people and it was cleaned everyday/new towels given/teabags/mugs changed etc. We had a really comfortable stay :) I would stay again

The pillows were a too soft (for me) and the hotel is quite old, but still clean.

Clean, spacious and comfortable room. Close to a coin laundry, Lawson and 7-eleven. There appear to be a number of nice restaurants but we didn't try them. We choose this mainly because it was close to the Ice Sculptures and Susukino, which is where the more exciting things of Sapporo are. Deluxe lounge for us as a pleasant surprise. There was a very useful shuttle to Sapporo station too. Staff were amazkng

Probably a bit on the expensive side for things but it was during the Sapporo Snow festival. A number of other guests were a bit rude whenever we had to cross paths with them (e.g. shuttle and lobby) but not much can be done about that. May have to avoid popular hotels during peak season!

Overall the hotel was clean and tidy. The services was full flex and the staff were adequately friendly and helpful. The breakfast spread was very good but the staff in breakfast room could be a bit more friendly. The rooms were very spacious compared to other hotels we’ve stayed in Japan and although a bit dated but the rooms were clean and tidy and did not smell of smoke 👍🏻despite some of the reviews we read. It was a good 3 night stay and had all the amenities we needed, including a very friendly car parking facility and big lobby and drop-off area which was useful for our large travelling party when loading and unloading bags and shopping! In conclusion, we would come back here again and there was nothing major to complain about this hotel! Highly recommended for family travel as the triple rooms are spacious with sufficient space to open 3-4 large luggages with still room left to walk around 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Nothing major to complain about!

Best value for money property, the rooms half the size go for 1.5X the price of this hotel. Breakfast if great and lot of options to choose from. Hotel has a great Chinese and Japanese restaurant. Directly opposite to Lawson a 24x7 grocery store. Hotel also runs an hourly shuttle service to Sapporo station. No complaints and best hotels stay in terms of value for money, room is really big one of the biggest rooms I have ever seen.

I have no complaints considering price I paid I’m very happy and delighted by the hospitality.

This is by far the biggest hotel that we stayed at during our visit to Japan. The hotel is elegant, with lots of space, cavernous at times, and is situated opposite a convenience store. The rooms are large, beautifully furnished, and comfortable. They do offer a free shuttle service to and from Sapporo Station, every half an hour or so. The on-site Chinese restaurant is really excellent.

The hotel is situated far from the Saporro Station, and about a kilometer from the closest subway station.

Huge room with sofa and living room chairs with a pretty view of the city and mountain range. We were on the 10th floor and that floor gave us access to the lounge with snacks and Sapporo Classic Beer on tap from 4 to 6 pm each night which was a great perk. The bed was definitely the most comfortable bed I had in 5 hotels during my spring break trip this month & the pillows were the best too when most Japanese hotel pillows are often terrible. The shower had good power and a lot of space too compared to other hotels on this trip.

The location isn’t as ideal as I’ve had on my previous Sapporo trips but not too far to walk to Susukino bars or to Sapporo Tower. It’s not a far walk to Nijo Ichiba Market where we had great sashimi & Hokkaido soft serve ice cream and fresh grilled fish. Our taxi from Sapporo Station on the first night definitely took us out of the way to increase the price and that’s very unusual in Japan. Our return trip was 700 yen less than the arrival afternoon but that’s not the hotel’s fault. The property is dated for sure but the prices aren’t crazy high so it’s worth the price unless you’re getting an expensive rate during a high season. My friends thought I was staying in a 5-star hotel but I kept saying that it’s more like “1980’s fancy” and not exactly 2023 fancy.

Room was spacious, clean, well-appointed, with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Japanese restaurant excellent, kaiseki dinner a series of culinary masterpieces. The lobby is quite attractive, with its grand vista and map of Japan on the ceiling. I very rarely care about hotel lobbies, but this one actually contributes to my overall positive feeling about the stay. Shuttle bus service was also excellent, though I would have appreciated an earlier departure than was available, as I had to get to New Chitose Airport. But no problem really, as the Hotel-arranged taxi got me to Sapporo Station in about 10 minutes. Price of room quite reasonable for high quality of accommodation and service at Premier Hotel Tsubaki. I will be happy to return to this Hotel next time in Sapporo.

The morning buffet was very good, except for two very minor matters -- yogurt should have been fresh instead of packaged, and point-of-entry staff was a bit too quick, though understandably so given the number of people he had to accommodate. And the vents blasting cold air cooled the scrambled eggs down before I even had a chance to consume them.

Struggled a long time to choose a place in Sapporo. Seemed to be mostly older, grander hotels in slightly out of the way locations (like this one) or newer simpler local hotels with tiny rooms and limited breakfast. Glad we chose the former not the latter. Room sizes were very generous as was breakfast, the two most important things for us. Also enjoyed overlooking the river. Had a very nice dinner at the Japanese restaurant for a reasonable price, with excellent service.

Location was a bit of a walk to central parts of the city-- normally really not a big deal for us normally but it was unusually hot so the extra distance was noticeable. Also the property could use a refresh at some point in the near future but was still clean and well maintained.

Nice modern business class hotel in walking distance from Sapporo downtown. Spacious room, great bathroom, the most advanced toilet we have seen in our trip to Japan.

You were not able to configure heating temperature, but we managed by opening window to cool room a bit. For parking, each time you get in you have to take the ticket and validate it at reception desk, cannot use room key to get out of garage. Breakfast cost extra and there are very few options nearby.
