The room is comfortable. The window when opened offers good ventilation and lighting. From the main station you will need to either go thru the underground or so some detour to reach the hotel as there is no direct crossing available due to the bus terminal. Plenty of dining choices nearby.

I did not try the breakfast as I have some issue with bread digestion. But it is as per some reviews on the site that mainly breads were offered for breakfast. And as it is by the main street, Shizuoka has the most siren over the different places that I stayed over the past month. But with the window shut not so much of an issue.

Excellent hotel, straight across the road from the station and walking distance to all city sights. Very kind and helpful staff held our luggage for the day and offered extra pampering face mask and toiletries for our stay. Room was perfect for an overnight stay - great bath tub, hot shower, warm room and movies available even though we didn’t use them. An amazing food market below the hotel at the station.

The hotel is on the opposite side of Shizuoka JR station. At first it took us longer than it supposed to be as we just walked with our big luggage for some distance to cross the street. But after that we found there is an underground connecting between each sides of the street and also an elevator! Very convenience. I and my sister stayed in double room which is a bit stuffy but it is ok, this is a typical size in Japanese business hotel. The staffs were friendly. There is only 1 elevator in the hotel, so in rush hour it might probably not convenience but fortunately we never faced such issue :) Also there is a conbini next to the hotel.

It is directly across the road from Shizuoka Station. There is an underpass where the exit is near the hotel. The room and toilet is clean. The bed is comfortable. There are many restaurants around the area, including in Shizuoka Station. Several malls can be found in the area behind the hotel. The counter staff can speak English and are polite and helpful. Will definitely return again.

Excellent value for the price . 5'900 yen was a bargain for a room that was comfortable and had all the amenities, even with a bathtub). Initially, I was worried about the noise from traffic, but the window is soundproof. Nice location opposite to the train station.

The hotel has only one elevator, so be patient.

The location is close to perfect. Across the main road from the JR Station and very close to all of the shops, restaurants and places of interest.

The only small thing is we wanted to rent their bikes at 7:00 am but were told they are only available from 9:00 am. Seems silly as they were just sitting there ready to go. This meant we couldn't do as we had planned.

I liked the location. It was very close to the station and shopping areas.

The room was smaller than expected and I didn't like the smell. I had to keep the air purifier on the entire time.

Friendly staff, only one block from the Shinkansen station. Everything very clean, and large space. The desk was spacious, comfortable and very well equipped.

Just one elevator, sometimes it was too slow for the number of floors.

Very convenient location to the train station. Terrific breakfast. We were only in town for 1 night so we didn't make use of much other than the beds and breakfast the next day but it was everything we needed.
