Location was very nice, our cabana had a pool and sea view and was very comfortable. Loved that the resort had a beach club, restaurants overlooking beach, supermarket and other facilities. Ahmad and yousef from front office were very kind and helpful. Breakfast was delicious but it ended early (10am)

Cleanliness wasn’t that great, bathrooms and balcony could be better and cleaner. We had a jacuzzi on the rooftop but we couldn’t use it because it wasn’t serviced and didn’t have maintenance. I think our fridge was broken because it wasn’t cooling and kept making noises.

The vibe of the place was good , staff was amazing , especially the receptionist Ahmad , made us feel right at home , anything we needed was immediately taken care of

Not much , but the place does need a bit of maintenance , freshening up if you may , however, to be fair , we had an issue with the shower that was taken care of immediately after the reception was notified , however , tiles , carpets , etc those kind of things need an inspection , but I wouldn't go as far as saying the place is neglected , but overall everything runs just fine and it's mainly visuals

The privet pool was huge and the villa was spacious. The garden well kept and the other pools and beach around the property was nice. For the car there was a complete garage which was connected to the villa. Its an amazing place to stay and spend some time with family. The concept is almost perfect, but unfortunately there are possible improvements that must be done.

The villa was not cleaned properly. The floor was dusty, there was some rubbish around the pool and on the roof lots of empty cups and cans. There was one juice cup and 2 mug in the kitchen for the whole villa. There were not enough towels or I should say there was no towels for the pool at all. The pool water circulation was off and the sun beds were dirty. There were many doors and tiles on the floor broken. Poor maintenance is obvious. There was no reception after 8 PM, so we had to wait till the next day to correct things. The stuff was helpful, but all should have been done before our arrival.

The pool and grounds are lovely and very well maintained. The flowers and plants are beautiful. There are a selection of pools which are good. The shop owners are all lovely, especially the ice cream man and the pharmacist. The staff are very pleasant also.

The rooms were not clean, we found an opened condom in a drawer. The furniture is falling apart and the curtains are falling down. The washing machine didn’t work and we asked for it to be fixed but it wasn’t. The toastie maker had not been cleaned from the last guest. In the other apartment we had similar problem, a leaking A/C but this was fixed after a number of complaints. It needs a good clean, some repairs and furniture that isn’t broken.

Our stay at Tala Bay was beyond expectations. Tala Bay offers much more freedom for families than other resorts in Aqaba. The kids can run on the long stretches of beach, play undisturbed in any of the several pools across the complex, and safely ride their bikes along the promenade. The pools / beach are open and accessible at all times of day, which is convenient since my kids wake up at 6am! (At other places, the access to pools and beach is only from around 9-10am.) Also, Tala Bay has significantly improved in terms of facilities. They now offer beautifully renovated and modern cabanas. These are 2-bedroom duplex houses with their own balconies and also their own rooftops to enjoy a dinner or drinks in the privacy of your home. The kids also regularly would go up to the rooftop to watch the sunset before bedtime. And the best part, the cabanas are located right next to the Beach Club where there is a heated pool and a fresh breakfast buffet (our breakfast was included in the booking and this was very convenient). The Beach Club also encompasses a beach area where many of the water sports are based. Again, very convenient when you have a family and you want to enjoy time by the seaside but also nip back to the cabana for any reason. As for the food, we ate mainly from two restaurants, Di Soto's and the Beach Club, which were both good. Some nights we walked or cycled along the port promenade to get to the restaurants and some nights we had the food delivered to our cabana. There is also a small supermarket where we were able to buy enough of the staples to make our own snacks and small meals. I couldn't have asked for anything more, it was great.

Staff is very polite, and breakfast was surprisingly large and diverse. Market with all you need incl. alco is at the hotel complex (only fresh meat was missing). We liked the hotel.

All coral in the hotel is destroyed, so you need to search for it outside the hotel fence. You cannot go left to look for it as it is a military zone. On the right, in around 500 m, there is a beautiful japanese garden coral on public beach with almost no people. Unfortunately half of this coral is dead as nobody protects it. But when we were changing suits after swimming (being 100 m away from anybody and covered with towels), immediately a young guard came. He stood 3 m from us and stared at my wife trying to change (not paying attention to me). Anywhere in the world, such behavior would be considered offensive towards a woman, and the guy would be punched in the face. But here, a woman was considered an offender...

Good restaurants within location and nice walks. Kids love the place. Great place to view sunset over Egypt. Beach was so clean and very pleasant. One of the best stays we had in the Jordan trip.

Breakfast was quite basic, but place is rated 5* which isn't matching. Breakfast is quite similar to 2* hotel. :-( Shop within the resort had 3x or more higher priced products which isn't helpful as no shops around. Shop indeed could have been fair priced. For petrol station stc. had to go back to Aqaba.

The pools are spacious, clean, and well maintained. The restaurants are nice and provide a variety of items with excellent staff and a wonderful view of Red Sea.

The apartment needed updating. Even though it provided all we needed, but a hotel touch would add a lot of value. The breakfast including in the property price was below standard that we decided to opt out.

Staff - superb especialy christian. Left for airport without my wife wallet by mistake, spoke with him and he arranged a taxi to send it to airport - cost 30JD but thats fine it was my fault, All round very good experience staying at resort.

beach, lovely choice of swimming pools and just a nice area and location

I was a bit worried after reading some of the reviews on here but actually this was the perfect stay for our family. Fantastic location, clean, safe - heated pool at the beach club, lovely staff.

There are some simple things they could improve to make it perfect. Update the patio furniture, include an iron and a hair dryer, clean up the sun terrace.
