Location near shopping and foods.

Be aware that the view in the picture doesn't reflect the reality. It may contains mountains view but they give you opposite building view and THEY TRY HIGHLY TO CONVINCE YOU THAT IT IS THE SAME ROOM THAT YOU BOOKE.

The location of this hotel. Easy access to the theme park, arena of stars, shopping mall and restaurants. The room is clean and beds are comfortable.

This hotel doesn’t provide own parking lots. Road signboards guiding to the adjacent hotel (resort hotel parking) parking lots are terrible. It’s not proper (can be half way missing signboards) and very confusing. For the first time travelers to this hotel, try setting ‘old town coffee house’ as gps location if looking for the nearest parking space to this hotel.

The room for 6 was just nice for 3 adults. Spacious and comfortable. The view was amazing as we could see the entire mountain scenery from our window. Just beside the theme park and Skyavenue. Superb location and hotel staff were really friendly and helpful. Early check in was a breeze.

THE. TOILET. COULD. DO. SOME. PROPER. DOORS. As this was supposed to be a family friendly room, the doorless toilet with PARTIALLY FROSTED glass doors for shower and toilet cubicles did not help. It was super awkward.

Beautiful ambience with appealing design. The room may be small but its quite cozy and comfortable. There are lots of socket/charging points in the room. The children love the bunk bed. Theme park is nearby and quite convenient. Staff are quite friendly and approachable.

There’s only one toilet for a sixes room. Fortunately, there are separate doors for wc & shower area. There are no restaurant or food take-out at the hotel. Not even a vending machine. There are also no directions as to find food joints unless you ask the concierge. As we have an elderly with us, we find it quite a distance to walk to get food.

The location is superb I think it's the best hotel in the vicinity in case of location. The hotel is unique in design from the lobby to the rooms (sixers was my room).

The laundry service is good in delivery and timing but bad in cleaning. The lobby staff are not available 24 hours.

Spacious bed n comfortable for family

Our room was close to the road so it was noisy. Ground floor same level with the reception. Can hear the sound from skyworld as well.

Location is just in front of the Skyworld Theme Park. Staff is very responsive and housekeeping is clean. No need for air-conditioning as it is always cool in the room but no radiator. The bed is just a mattress so you can push them together if you want to be more cosy or more open space for luggage.

If you are unlucky, you will get the room that is at the other wing which is a long walk from the entrance and still might need to take the lift down. The room does not have any wardrobe so you have to use the three hangers on the wall. The bathroom has no door but there is a glass door for the toilet and shower.

A very clean and neat hotel. Nice interiors and delivers what has been stated for. No fancy explanations. Direct to the point and a very amicable, human interaction with clients. You evolve around the objective driven staff. Would be happy to return on a next visit.

Though an old structure, the hotel misses outdoor space attached to the building as its nested within a road junction. Some terrace facilities would be great and as choice a wardrobe in rooms. The comments are purely from an improvement perspective.

Lack of Staffs

Great for family stays. The children enjoyed playing in the hotel lobby and the jack and the beanstalk theme makes for some nice photos. Staff was friendly and porter service was available to help us bring our luggage to the room. The bunk beds in the sixer rooms were a hit with the children. I personally like the bathroom setup, as it allows for multiple person to use it at the same time (the one showering may have to wait for everyone to clear out before coming out if want to avoid any accidental flashing). I also find the wall hooks and hangers more useful than wardrobe cabinets, as it leaves us more space and we can easily hang our jackets on them too. All basic amenities (toothbrush, shavers etc) are provided too. Compared to the newer hotel suites/service apartments on the other side of the hill, I find Genting hotels are way more comfortable to stay as they are built to withstand the high humidity. Temperature was around 15-23 degrees during our stay, and the room with just a small ceiling fan was neither warm nor too cold.

I have doubt that early check-ins are possible (regardless of readiness of the rooms) because the self check-in kiosk system can't find my reservation before 3pm even though the staff informed me by 2.55pm that the room is ready. I would suggest the hotel have card sleeves and pen ready by the kiosks for guests to write down the room number for their key cards. It's easy to mix up cards if you are checking-in for multiple rooms. Also would prefer for the hotel to have a water dispenser machine or provide larger bottles of water than multiple tiny ones. It's relatively noisy and sounds of speeding vehicles at night can be particularly annoying.
