This is a very unique property in the very center of the Lilongwe . It has a completely different feel, more like a camp than a hotel in the city. The food was excellent, they have a great menu with Malawi specialties as well as an Indian menu. The owner made a point of stopping by my table to see how I was enjoying my stay. Very friendly and capable staff. Was fun to watch all the monkeys that run around the outside of this place.

The room was clean, and facility nice but my room had an issue with the AC, it was a little bit warmer than I would’ve liked. But I can easily overlook this in balance with the rest of the place.

Everything to do with food was excellent. They have a very well functioning restaurant with a great variety of menues: Indian Menue, Malawi menue, Italian menue. It would take many days to try and taste everything they offer. The environment is wonderful, a wood in the middle of Lilongue and plenty of playing monkeys that pass by you daily. Even deer were seen near my cottage as well as other animals. Electricity was always functioning. The internet depended of where you were but they listen to your request and do all they can to improve whatever you have mentioned to them.

Accessibility for people with mobility problems can be improved: They provided pathways for people using wheelchairs or walking aids, and there was a road sign telling people not to park and block the path to the restaurant/reception area, but the guard didn't correct people who ignored this sign. Some parts between the path between the cottages and the path to the restaurant should be hardened because it gets muddy and that's not nice for wheelchair users. Also they should put hand railings alongside the steps into the pool.

Spacious room and bathroom. The property is in a sanctuary area so it’s very beautiful all around. The staff were super nice and helpful.

The floor is a bit dusty but I guess it can’t be avoided. I brought my own indoor slippers so problem solved.

The staff were always friendly and helpful. The food and menu looked extensive. I should have had more time to try it all. The restaurant is packed every evening which tells a lot. Loved the monkeys!

At times the internet could drop out. But no complains really. I could still watch my favorite TV series on streaming service.

If rustic and colonial is what you want, this is the place for you. It is safe, secure and very quiet - so ideal for those persons who need to do a bit of work. The restaurant caters to all types of taste buds and there is definitely something in the menu for vegetarians, pasta fanatics, and meat lovers. Even kids will have no problem selecting something from the menu. There is a pool as well as great walking trails so you can count on having some exercise while here.

Rustic self-contained accommodation in a peaceful setting with nature all around. Location convenient for getting into town, well-maintained pool.

WiFi was very unreliable.

Only stayed one day; however watching the animals at play was great; service good; down the road from the wildlife centre. Lilongwe is very spread out so will need taxi to visit attractions. The food was very good and affordable.

Room was a bit musty; room spacious but a little dated however it did not detract from the stay.

The size of the rooms are great and you feel like you are outside of the city. If you work for International organizations, this is the place to stay and have a cozy feeling. The drive is less than 10 minutes to most offices!

The staff and the o were are friendly and so welcoming. The food at the restaurant is outstanding!

Very friendly staff. Great extensive menu with range of local, Indian and Italian foods. Well stocked bar. Swimming pool each chalet is in the nice grounds with a balcony outside Nice to talk to owner who was wandering around checking guests were enjoying themselves.

The Staff was very friendly and nice. The forest is beautiful and relaxing. The room was big and comfortable. The restaurant is worth it.

The pool was very dirty and I could not swim. The carpets in the room and bathroom were dirty and old. Better wash them or remove them.
