The facilities in the resort and ambience are fantastic. The staff are approachable and very friendly.

The resort is located away far away from the island of Penang. Not many activities can be done there except in the Bertam Water Park which is just beside the resort. Only a small Lotus mall, Mydin Hypermarket and eating outlets are found nearby. Restaurants are located nearby too but you need to have your own transport to reach to the places easily. You may have problem getting a Grab back to the resort.

The room size was super spacious

Thank you Bertam Resort Management. We had a wonderful staycation in Bertam Resort. On arrival day, we had spent less than 15 minutes for registration, it was fast and the hotel staff was very helpful. The room was super clean, facing the water park as we wish and a huge size of normal superior room than we thought. Hotel facilities are amazing.... Access to the nearest restaurant, petrol pump, 24hrs shop are not more than 7 minutes drive. Definitely will come again.

Design and decor are super amazing. Everything is new and fit with morrocan theme. Staff are friendly and helpful . Swimming pool is the highlight and centre of the hotel. Room decor is nice and spacious n my kids enjoyed the kids room too.

Breakfast buffet can be further improved especially the bread section. The sourdough bread was not baked properly and tasteless. Probably it’s not sourdough in the first place.Jam selection are too sweet please provide better quality jam. Strong smell of bleach at the restaurant especially area that is close to the kitchen

I'd say the breakfast was good, choices for malays, western & oriental as well. Room is basically not bad, clean & basic amenities are good. Love the Lobby Arabian design, Huge swimming Pool, entertainment area such as Library, Pool room, Gym are simply amazing. The Staffs are really Helpful, attentive & Frenly as well.

Valet Parking is limited, the main parking is an Open space without a shade. I'd say Bertam Resort is shorthanded of Staffs working should we arrived at night. There's only 1 Bellboy sending the luggage for our 2 rooms & it took him too long to get them delivered. Need to improve the bathroom hot shower knob which is too hot & the temperature is not stable.

The day I arrived on 21st July 3.25pm, I was then told to claim my welcome drinks by the 22nd before 12 noon. Unfortunately, there was nobody at the cafetiere on the 22nd until I left the hotel around 10.45 am. No big issue, but as a guest, I am looking forward to a welcome drink. 8am 22nd, I went to the pool. Had my swim. Get off the pool and ask for a towel, but none is available. Went back for swimming. Off the pool by 9.30 am and again, ask for a towel and to my surprise there is none available yet. So, I just go up to my room.

The setting is Arabian in style...Moroccans I should say. Very nicely crafted that they look like a scene in the movies I watched. I like most of the places in the resort area. Very clean and soothing to the eyes. The pool is very big. The room is very clean and tidy. Breakfast was fantastic with a lot variety of foods and drinks. Local and western alike. Value for money.

The location is too far from my home. We didn't have time to explore the Water Park because of time constraints on our part. But it looks fun. Will try our moment next visit here. Definitely. InsyaAllah.

The hotel is brand new. The food is not that bad

My bedsheets is dirty ( please refer the picture) I choose 6 rooms quadruples and requested for connecting rooms almost a month ago. However during checking they unable to provide it. The price is quite high and I could get 5star hotel with 2 bedroom in klang valley The bertam waterpark is crowded with people and the water quality is not good

Magnificent view from my room. And very friendly staff. The room very clean and Comfortable. Facilities like big swimming pool pool for kids also quite big. Free parking. Toilet with good water pressure.

Most of the facilities like game room..kids room only opened after 12pm. Perhaps can opened earlier so guest can enjoy it before check out. Can provide 2 bottles drinking water at least.
