To be fair I don't know where to start and i really don't get people who write bad reviews about this place. The receptionist was very nice and helpful - speaks perfectly english 🥰 you get refreshment drinks and some candy and the reception 😍 The room is perfect, the bed is very soft and we slept like babies (just to know there is no door to the bathroom, which was no problem for us) If you want your room cleaned you just let them know at the reception and they will do it the next day :) (extra PLUS) There is a restaurant at the pool with a bar - food is delicious and prices are reasonable! As well is the beer hehe 🤤🌞 Breakfast varies from day to day at the buffet - rice, noodles, rice porridge, eggs, toast, jam, butter, peanut butter, fruits, cakes, milk with cereals! Summed up a perfect stay, which we extended twice! Thanks again to the A ROCK TEAM for the stay!! Ps: there is also a small private beach you can go to! Not for swimming but just for hanging out its really nice and just a 5 minutes walk 🥰

I saw some comments asking for a tv. Pls dont put tv. This is a vacation some pple need peaceful vacation. This resort can add on spa n wellness. I would love a full staycation with many other facilities. Other than that this place is a worth of healing!

The peaceful and quiet location surrounded by dense jungles, offering a scenic escape into nature. The pool, which was perfect for relaxation. The exceptional customer service and attentive staff. Even without a phone in the room, they were easily reachable via WhatsApp and responded instantly. The unique charm of staying in a jungle resort, with basic but adequate facilities.

The abundance of bugs and mosquitoes, although manageable with bug spray. The rooms were slightly small and equipped with only basic amenities. The limited breakfast options, which led me to opt for a nearby local eatery instead. The lack of a TV in the room and faulty electrical sockets, which caused issues while charging devices.

Came with a friend and booked a 2 twin room for 3 nights. Checking in was a fast and smooth process. Super friendly staff. Room was located towards the back end of the pool (thankfully less noisy if we were given a room right by the pool , but still noisy 😂). The resort is probably more catered towards big groups and couples looking for an affordable place to have intimate gatherings. Great bar service tho. Room itself was very clean, it is a bit small but furniture decently organized. Nice and green location, really loved that there were still wildlife around us; isolated and very very well maintained. Offered nice simple and affordable breakfast. A few water dispensers located around the property to refill water for free.

The bathroom had no door, just a thick curtain that didn’t cover completely, we felt uncomfortable using the toilet during our stay. Also only one type of soap for all uses, would’ve been nice to have at least shampoo and soap separately. Rooms weren’t very well sound proofed, can hear almost everything that happens right outside the room (footsteps, conversations, pool area etc). The room was poorly lit and ventilated, very dark and felt damp most of the time. The curtains were black out types and the interior walls were dark wood, only a couple small ceiling lights. Would be nice to have more lamps/lights situated in the room. Dripping of AC or water pipes continuously right outside the door of each unit. A bit annoying when you want to get some sleep.

For the price it’s absolutely perfect! Remote location in nature but close enough to get to Kuah within 10 minutes by a taxi. Beautiful massive pool and really lovely staff. Very clean and well taken care of property. Food was also decent. Resort vibes without the pretentiousness and very cheap. Had the nature view room which was great because it was never noisy, whereas the pool rooms I imagine are a lot noisier due to people chilling at the pool.

By no means it is perfect in general, but for the price you get great value. rooms were a bit small, there is only a curtain to go into the toilet. Not much wardrobe space to hung clothes. Could also use an extra socket next to bed as there is only one. And no bedside tables. None of these made our stay bad though!

Nice layout, pool, enviromment. Big clean windows to jungle. Quiet cheap even for Malaysia. Food until 22.30. Very nice Piña Colada at the bar.

No closet in room. Pool open until 22.30 only. Wanted to charge us extra for 2 more towels. Which is ridiculous because we did not request room cleanung during our stay at all and basically only wanted to change the towels. This was granted us only after arguing. Water was orange for 2 days. They should definetly take care of the area behind the resort (on the way to the "private" beach & the beach itself).. It is full of (plastic) waste. Although this does not officially belong to the resort anymore, guest experience is impacted by that and it is disrespectful to the environment.

The staff are friendly and very welcoming. The newish resort still looks good. The bed is super, super, comfortable and has a couple of lovely pillows for each person. The pool is large and it is lovely to laze around in the pool sipping a drink. The bar has good-priced cocktails, beer and wine. There is a good selection of toiletries and a hairdryer, safe, kettle. There is an area with seating above the reception area, which currently has seating and will eventually have a bar. Currently, you can have your drinks and food taken there. (In the photos - with the fake grass)

The room was smaller than expected. There are no bedside tables or lamps. There is only one chair in the room and a narrow desk that holds the kettle. Only coffee is supplied (3 in 1), so it has sugar, yuk. I would have liked a couple of tea bags. The toilet only has a curtain for a door, so I imagine some people won't like that. We ate dinner there on our first night; our choices were not very nice. The satays were deep-fried, the sauce was too sweet, and the lontong (rice cubes were terrible; they were not cooked or soft). The fried rice was ok. There is no TV, which didn't bother us as it was nicer to be in the pool. Also, there is no fridge, which I forgot to check when booking and which we did want. Only some hanging room for your clothes. No shelves or drawers.

1. Good design, very unique & instagramable 2. Small room but just nice for couple, still acceptable 3. Request for simple & free deco, and i got swan towel. Thanks! 4. Front staf is very nice, forgot to ask his name. but he greet us, carry our bags, provide waters while we waiting for checks in & even hand out umbrella(it’s raining) when we came back from shopping. 5. Breakfast was great. So many choices! Didn’t put my hope high because previous reviews said not many choices. but, i was lucky. 6. They got private beach! We rent motorcycle from the resort (RM10 for 1 hour) to go there. The route very rough, please be careful. but the beach so beautiful! no one there, just us..able to catch the sunrise. The resort’s dog also very friendly, he escorts us half way & scared away the stray dogs for us. Don’t worry, he is good & know how to keep distance. 7. No late night party

1. no place to hang our clothes 2. room not sound proof, can hear all the vehicles at the car park & people chit chatting outside 3. During my stay(at night), there are people (staff) argument/fight. They were yelling at each other just under my unit. I was there the whole time watching the drama, but they seemed to ignore the guest but keep fighting. Even when i went back inside, i still can hear them yelling. The manager / supervisor should take action since it will tarnish the image of the resort. No one apologies after that. It’s kinda ruined my night.

I liked that the resort is secluded so it’s a bit further away from civilisation. However it has that peaceful element to it. The pool was very clean and maintained daily during our stay. Staff very friendly and helpful. Free on site parking which helps as you will need to rent a vehicle as it would be the best way to travel everywhere. All in all, very good experience

I did find some other stayers did stay out late near the pool playing their own music late at night. The walls are very thin so you can hear anything and everything. This didn’t phase me at all as we came to have a relaxing holiday and we don’t mind this however, it could annoy some guests.

We stayed at the hotel for three days and two nights. Overall, it was really good. The staff were helpful and polite, and we especially enjoyed the pool. The best part was the beautiful nature surrounding the hotel and the lovely 'private' beach nearby, just a short walk away. We chose rooms with a nature view, which was the best choice. In my opinion, rooms with "pool view" might lack some privacy and tranquility. We even got to see monkeys playing near the hotel, which was awesome! However, be cautious of your belongings at the semi-private beach, as monkeys sometimes came to check them out. The restaurant was very good, although we felt the breakfast could be better for the price. The rooms were spacious enough for two people with medium luggage, but there's no TV or minibar, and the restroom doesn't have a door, just a curtain. Overall, we had a really nice stay and would definitely consider coming back!

I believe that having a minibar would be a good addition in the rooms. Breakfast is ok, maybe they could add more options like yogurts, more fruit, muesli, etc. for the price. (30RM per person)
