All features of the room seem quite new: floor, beds, shower & sink fixtures, etc. Everything very clean with no smells. There is instant hot water if you turn on the water heater, and the shower is in brand new shape. The staff offer a laundry service. The neighborhood is quiet, hotel is at the end of a street. Food options are easily within walking distance, and the river crossing is a 5 min walk down the slope. Best of all, you have the chance to see interesting birds from the terrace!

Small, but essential room with a little private bathroom inside. We had a little patio where to put clothes to dry. It's just on the other side of the river, a few mins walk from the floating restaurants and the bus parking. Ideal if you're staying a couple of days tops.

I wouldn't recommend it if you're traveling with heavy luggages, there is a very steep climb to get to the hostel and they don't have a car or someone who can come down for help, it was hard after a long journey

Staff were very helpful - one example was providing a washing service with no expectation for payment. The rooms were clean, and the AC worked very well. Rooms were private with ensuites and towels provided. Great location right next to the drop-off point for the bus from Jerantut and 3 minute walk down to the river. Snacks were a bonus!

The view onto a car-park was the only down-side I can think of. The location is so close to the river, national park and restaurants that it's unlikely the view will be too scenic. Also since you're probably going to be out in the park most of the time you're here, it's really not a major problem.

Everything was much better than what I would expect for a hostel close to the jungle. The room was very clean. The wifi, the A/C, and the hot shower worked really well. They even had some snacks inside the room for the guests and a water dispenser that provided hot and cold water outside the room that was available 24 hours every day. The location was great as well. Less than 5-minute walk to restaurants, the main tour company in the area, and to the jetty where you’ll take the boat to cross over to Taman Negara. The host was very responsive as well.

Nothing! It was a great stay. Would definitely come back if I ever visit Taman Negara again.

Only a slight detail but the door to the bathroom wasn't nice. You have to be really careful with opening the door and its just not a nice lock system. Better use a normal door nob like the main door. But thats all that was negative so if thats the worst, then its an awesome place if you ask me

Very friendly, helpful and welcoming host and staff. Comfy bed, good aircon, good hot water, drinking water available to refill bottles to drink and helped to reduce plastic. Nice seating area outside with view of forest, close to boat crossing to national park and restaurants close by.

Slight smell from bathroom, though think it’s the drains, aircon quickly got rid of it when on though, and only a small issue.

Super clean, comfy bed, good AC, complementary snacks. Also a hot/cold water dispenser, tables, and drying racks in the common areas. A quick 5 minute walk to the riverside to cross for the national park, and just a couple minutes away from several restaurants, convenience stores, and the shuttle bus stop.

The shower is above the toilet, which is pretty standard for Southeast Asia, but something to keep in mind if you aren't used to that.

The room was very clean and looked modern and new. AC worked well. The owners were friendly and answered all our questions. The location is also excellent, just a few steps from the boats that cross the river. However, there is a steep hill to reach the river, but if you’re moderately fit, it shouldn't be a problem.

The beds and pillows were quite hard, making it difficult to sleep comfortably.

Close to Taman Negara and restaurants; good AC; 2 toilets in the larger room; and the offer of laundry service!

There is a sizable incline between Julie’s and the river crossing (important because the river can flood) and the front porch (in front of the rooms) does seem like a local gathering/hangout spot but with the AC running, the noise didn’t bother us.

Friendly staffs, more than enough snacks were provided, clean and comfy beds. 2 washrooms for family room is excellent! Even though our room had issues with aircon, the staff took note of our discomfort and make arrangements for us to use another room until it was sorted out. The hostel is also very near to the jetty.
