The breakfast menu was great. Rooms are comfortable and there's a line to dry clothes.

Electric plugs very in weird locations, making it hardly possible to charge. The pool opens late (9am) and closes early such that it wasn't possible to use it.

Nice location front of the mountain. Nice swimming pool, not too common in Kuala Tahan. Seems to stay inside the jungle. Good breakfast. Nice owner. It is good to have an agency for excursions inside the hotel.

Too much Chlore in the pool. I would put net for mosquitos also on windows, in order to open them up, because We don’t like AC. Excursions were not always good, even if it is not the hotel responsibility: we booked a rapid game on the river but the guide was too afraid and while all other guides were facing the rapids, our was going too slowly and was the only boat doing like this. Did not pay for a cruise, but for a more adrenalinic experience.

This hotel is great value for money! The bf is abundant, the rooms confortable, the pool is heavenly in the heat. The staff and the friendly owner Louis will go the extra mile! We forgot our buggy when going to our next location. Even though we hadn’t booked any onward travel with them, they remembered from chitchat. They made the effort to arrange with our travel ompany to get the buggy there. Evem before we asked, at no cost! If you want good value for money and a professional service, Tekoma is your place!

The resort itself is absolutely delightful! Nestled amidst stunning natural surroundings, it exudes tranquility and beauty. The lush greenery and scenic vistas around the resort add to its charm. I felt incredibly comfortable and relaxed during my stay, as the accommodations were cozy and inviting. The swimming pool, a sparkling oasis in the midst of it all, provided the perfect respite from the day's activities. Moreover, the staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating, ensuring that every aspect of my visit was enjoyable. And let's not forget the morning buffet – a culinary delight that offered a tantalizing array of dishes to start the day off right. I booked a dorm room and got the whole room to myself ! Same for my other 2 friends! The staff are soooo lovely! We did an overnight stay in the jungle and the hotel kept our bags safe for us and washed all our VERY dirty clothes for only 10 ringets. The breakfast had lots of choice, I’m vegetarian and thought it was great!

You’re in the jungle so there are bugs - but I don’t think this can be avoided! There were some cobwebs but otherwise clean. Has a pool which is great after hiking but could do with a few sun loungers! You can sit in the dinning area but apart from that no other social areas!

The location is very good, the hotel is near the bus parking and also the two main tour operator's offices. Our bungalow was large and comfortable, there is a fridge and a boiler and they provide clean towels everyday. The swimming pool is a plus. Good breakfast.

In 3 days the staff provided us only 1 toilet paper roll, and they didn't change/clean the cups. The breakfast should be improved by introducing some local fruit, avoiding packed food such as nuggets and fries.

The breakfast was good and very varied, the room was very large and clean. The furniture is very basic, but it works for a few nights. The beds were not very comfortable. The location is excellent for visiting the forest, with the river just a 5-minute walk away.

The pool is nice and useful after a day of walking in the park, but it gets too crowded with rude tourists and is not monitored by the staff at all. No safe available in the room.

Lovely looking chalets, quiet and cozy yet within walking distance to the jetty to Taman Negara, restaurants, cafes, minimarts and local agencies/guides. We booked two rooms and they were spacious and had all the necessities we wanted like air conditioning, fan, mini fridge, kettle, hairdryer, instant coffee and bottled water. The bathroom with shower was also spacious and clean. We also received new towels and bottled water every day. The free breakfast buffet was simple but sufficient for us with noodles, potatoes, baked beans, sausages, bread, freshly fried eggs and omelettes, cereals and fruits. The staff were friendly especially Jack who was enormously helpful with our booking. We had initially booked for three nights but decided later to shorten it to two nights. He arranged to refund us for the cancelled third night. All in all we were pleased with our stay here.

Better blankets for the single beds. Those that were on the single beds did not feel smooth on the skin.

This hotel is staffed by the nicest, most helpful human beings you could ever hope to meet. They are genuinely so friendly, lovely and efficient that it made our stay a delight. We had booked 1 night and then were scheduled to spend the next night on a jungle trek, but it was cancelled due to bad weather. The hotel were extremely helpful in assisting to make sure we could not only book an extra night, but stay in the same chalet (they rearranged another booking to make this happen for us). We felt we had the best chalet in the whole place (no. 409, family room with mountain view). It was a detached chalet that overlooked the pool so we could watch our kids from the verandah or window. The rooms were spotlessly clean. In a rural location like that I certainly expected the odd cockroach but we didn't see a thing apart from one little gecko which we didn't mind at all. The rooms are fairly basic but they are actually nicer than shown in the pictures on the website, which don't do it justice. The aircon works well. We booked a family room, which turned out actually to be 2 adjoining rooms, which was perfect for us. The beds were comfy and the shower was hot. The pool is excellent! It could do with a little more shade and some sun loungers but can't really complain about such a gorgeous setting. There is also a fridge of cold beer and other cold drinks which you can buy from at reception.

The only thing that wasn't really top level was the breakfast buffet. It's fine but it's not the nicest food you'll ever eat. Still, there was always at least 1 or 2 things that each member of our family could enjoy. They have a mixture of Western and Malay food, for example you can have roti, or doughnuts/cereal. We even took some extra as snacks for the day. I thought the staff might tell us off, but they were super helpful and offered us takeaway boxes.

The property and room were clean. We had booked a family room which had a king size bed, a queen size bed and two single beds which was perfect. The pool was a bonus given the heat in the jungle. The staff was very nice and the breakfast buffet was decent.

The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the main jetty and restaurants. Given we had young children it was sometimes tiring to come back and forth many times per day.
