If you are looking for a quiet place near the beach, the location of this resort is excellent. The beach is right behind the hotel, just a few steps from the back door. There is also a large swimming pool. The hotel takes care of the security of the place, although in general the area is very safe and quiet. The hotel staff is very friendly and willing to help with details. The hotel is clean, in general. Weekends there are more passengers, mostly families. The week is quieter. The surroundings of the hotel are very clean and beautiful, ideal to disconnect from the noise of the city.

The bathroom door had a lot of mold on the inside. In general, the bathroom needs a thorough cleaning. This is the only negative thing about my stay.

The hotel is close to the sea, within walking distance to the beach. Adult pool and kids pool are separated.

The sound insulation of the room is not good, and the surrounding sounds can be heard clearly. Turning over while sleeping, the bed keeps making noises. The washbasin and bed sheets were not clean with blood stains.

The location is the no 1 reason. It’s right next to a beautiful beach that is not as well known as other popular beaches in PD, thus not as crowded. Pool available and the amenities provided are complete (i.e. towels, coffee, bottles of water, toothbrushes)

The cleanliness can be improved and the hotel can use a facelift. The rooms look tired and weathered. Disappointed that they did not provide buffet breakfast during weekdays, only ala carte. We were looking forward to that, something to consider.

The place is nearby to the beach. Walking distance and they had a nice pool. Enjoy the stay. Spacious room.

The noise from nearby hotel or villa at 2am to 4am. Try to call receptionist but no answer. Couldn't sleep because of the loud music. Perhaps in the future the management can figure out this problem. Make a police report if it is does disturb others (noise). We pay for the stay and we do hope a nice and peace stay and not a noisy sound at night. Hope can improve in the future.

Beautiful resort at the beach. I arrived late, because my flight was delayed. Very nice welcoming and I get a upgrade for the room. This room was beautiful, very clean and with a great view. A big difference Staff is very friendly. Pool and area is very clean and awesome. Breakfast is nice and authentic. A very nice and authentic stay in a beautiful environment. The story is not about perfect light in the room or newest exquisite furniture. The story is about the whole feeling and unique ambient. Everytime again. Thank you so much.

value for money. no damp smell anywhere. i was looking mainly for the beach and this place has it well. the room is minimal. nothing fancy. but it is clean and everything is working. pool is clean. they have many outdoor showers to clean up after pool or sandy beach. good water pressure. the best part is - we forgot that we were in PD during the stay. it was wayyyyy beyond our expectation. thank you akar. hope you keep on improving.

the nasi lemak wasnt up to the expectation. not many parking spaces. the hot shower was too hot even early in the morning. and water pressure from shower was slower than the rest.

The room was decent & location was great. Very quiet & easy access to the beach. Food need to drive a bit but this compensate to your quiet beach night. Breakfast was Okey with price, but some quality cereal would be great. We got Ala carte menu rather than buffet, I think because it's a weekday.. Understandable on that.

The hotel feels a bit outdated. A little bit of upgrade would be nice on some things.

Satisfied with the atmosphere, I get a super clean room, toilet n balcony. Prying mat also provided by the hotel. Maybe it needs to put sticker for kiblat directions. The pool also is clean and not really packed in the morning. The best part is the distance and view of the beach

Room is clean & spacious. Hotel just next to the beach. Beach area is private & quiet. Lots of free parking. Staff was polite & attentive, allowed to check in earlier when the room is ready. Breakfast was tasty, i love the savoury porridge very much, it is perfect to my taste bud. Swimming pool also clean & spacious. I went during non-peak season & weekday so it was a very nice stay. Definitely will stay again.

I upgraded my room to seaview but it doesn't really face the sea though, it was like sideway & sea can be view from balcony at most. So it does make me feel not worth the extra money. No bathtub in room. The body soap too thick it gives off the cheap vibe, at least to me. Minibar only have 2 sachet of instant 3 in 1 coffee & thank god 2 bottles of mineral water. I wish there would be cut fruits in breakfast buffet spread but i see that no improvement made by the management despite so many suggestion in the past reviews.
