New renovated room...

Booked a garden view room, but received a room with a semak view instead, and no balcony. The booking was for five adults in two rooms; the booking stated one room had a queen bed (for three adults) and the other had two single beds (for two adults). Due to a misunderstanding, an extra bed was requested, and while there was a RM100 charge, the manager kindly waived the fee. Alhamdulillah.

I understand the hotel is recently renovated. Bit more to improve on door lock of bathroom. Maybe because of cold weather, one of my friend stuck inside the toilet and someone have to push the door from outside to get it opened and should do it every time once finished using the toilet 😃. If staying alone just keep the bathroom door open 🥴.

Newly refurbished hotel so the room was lovely with a huge comfy bed. The staff were very welcoming and helpful and let me check in early as my room was ready. They arranged an early taxi for me as I had to get an early train. The hotel is close to the centre and all the sights are walkable.

No soap or shower gel in the bathroom but I think this was just an oversight as everything else was provided and I forgot to ask.

Good comfortable hotel in a central location at Fraser's Hill. Clean, Good amenities. Friendly staff. Good restaurant. Wi-fi is good in both rooms and central lobby (contra older reviews). Quiet and easy to relax. Nice view from the balcony. Good parking.

Corridor decor on the 3. floor is a bit old. Toilet flushing does not work well. Some hair in the shower.

I dont know why people rate low for this hotel. But for me this hotel offers me a very comfortable and clean stay after a long journey. The staffs also very friendly even offered help to bring in my luggage. The location is very strategic to nearest cafe. The room is so clean and beautiful. I really enjoyed

A new renovated rooms and facilities. Modernized and upgraded interior. My room was overlooking the golf course, and the view was amazing and calming. Strategic location in the heart of Fraser Hills Clock Tower.

There was water distruption during my stay due to the renovation work.

I like the central location in town and the easy access to other places. It is also good value for the price paid.

I find that Fraser's has lost its attractiveness as a birders destination. It is still cool and comfortable but it is very difficult to find its iconic bird namely the Silver Ear Mesia. There are still other birds like the Trogon and the Fire Tufted barbet found in the Bishop Trail. A leaflet detailing the destination where the birds can be found will be helpful.

The hotel looks clean and nice because is newly renovated. Buffet breakfast food options were acceptable.

Having some hot shower problem earlier in the room but was fixed by maintenance. Not many food options around Fraser Hill.

Everything was good, branded new hotel and strategic location. Our room even equipped with the bathtub plus the hot water was really hot to the boiled level, added value to our stay!

Only 1 lift for the entire building but it's okay for us.

I've stayed here before so I knew what to expect - the rooms are pretty basic but there's everything you need - the beds are comfy enough, the shower was really good, I had a nice balcony view over the town & the food is really good.

The Shahzan Inn looks amazing from the outside & the lobby and restaurant look really slick and modern. The rooms are pretty tired though & could probably do with upgrading
