The breakfast was very good and we sat outside on the deck overlooking the pool, surrounded by trees, etc. The location was very peaceful but has limited public transport access. Fabrice does offer a shuttle service for 6 euros though, with 20 euros for the airport. Fabrice also offers a dinner option for a very reasonable 19 euros each - recommended.

A small negative was the shared bathroom. There are only two rooms let though, so major inconvenience. Some guests may dislike being away from the main downtown area.

Surrounded by lush tropical vegetation, yet not far from Fort-de-France, this chambre d'hote was wonderful. The bedroom was quite comfortable, and I appreciated the air-conditioning on hot days. Fabrice is a good cook, so I asked him to cook several dinners for me. It was great to come back to a home-cooked meal after a busy day of exploring. I also appreciated having access to his swimming pool, and a large deck where I could practice yoga in the morning. I also enjoyed conversing with the other guests who shared breakfast and dinner with me. I spent a full week at Havre de paix and felt quite "chez moi" by the end.

I had a friend pick me up and drop me off at the gate at the top of the hill a few times. Walking up and down the steep hill was more exercise than I anticipated, especially after having a few planteurs! I suspect most guests will come and go by car, however, so this won't be a problem.

Good location and services provided by the hosts. Varied breakfast and an incredibly delicious dinner, which I can only recommend. The shared bathroom was any problem, as there was little chance of encountering other guests at the same time. Very kind owner, everything perfectly organized.

A lot of mosquitoes, but that’s the case across all of Martinique.

The best thing about this place is it's peaceful location with such a beautiful terrace with swimming pool surrounded by jungle. The next best was the super host who made us feel very welcome. The home was very tidy and had many features to make us comfortable.

This isn't a criticism of the place itself. Only that the city nearby Fort de France, wasn't very nice. Still, this home was a great starting off point to explore the island and the host made it a wonderful stay.

Fabrice is great host, making great breakfasts, fabulous dinners and delicious drinks. He will give you great advices where to go and what to visit and is willing to pick you up and drop at the airport for very fair price. His house in the middle of nature is just oasis of relax and chill. Was lucky to try both of the rooms he offers, both are spacious and clean with comfy bed and mosquito nets. The terrace and pool are amazing and you can watch birds and small lizards.

Missed a hairdryer a bit :). Steep driveway was a bit challenging for me. :)

The setting is very peaceful and private. The host, Fabrice, makes sure that you are comfortable and is ready to answer any questions and help with details to make your trip enjoyable. He is an excellent cook who prepared wonderful meals for the guests to enjoy. The hosted dinners are a terrific way to relax and unwind from a day of travel adventures. I had dinner at the property both nights along with the other guests at the property. Magnifique!

It would be nice if the bathroom were a bit bigger, but that is a minor issue that had no significant reduction in the enjoyment of my stay.

Our host was very kind and helpful by getting is from and to ferry terminal. We rented a car from him in very best condition, almost new! Location was very nice and cosy, nice room,clean and comfortable, A/C working perfectly. Good breakfast with fresh fruits and the best fresh baguettes.

Very friendly and helpful owner. He offers an excellent service for his guests, the rooms are very nice and the breakfast was lovely. I can highly recommend to stay at this guesthouse!!

Fabrice was the best , very friendly and he helped us in everything, as a taxi driver as well from the airport and city center. I would advise Havre de paix à Fort de France 100%. Wonderful pool , terrace and Breakfast.

everything was neat and lovely ! the host was amazing and so friendly. he helped out with whatever we needed and also provided taxis for us to go back and forth at a reasonable price. The pool was lovely to be in and the morning breakfast was always amazing to our needs. i really enjoyed my stay and Fabrice made it totally amazing. will def visit again
