Nice architecture inside and outside. Fireplace with real wood. Onsite restaurant with excellent food and long opening hours. Very friendly staff who let us pick some extra items from the menu for breakfast to compensate for some minor issues in the room and unclarities in the booking.

You only get wood for the fireplace on the first day and need to pay if you want more. Located in nice park but lots of weed. Standard complementary breakfast is only yoghurt with fruit and coffee or juice. Some noise from highway nearby. Not always warm water in the shower. The bathroom sink does not rinse clean due to low water pressure.

Loved the property and space. Friendly staff, great location. Fireplace was cozy for chill Valle night.

No access to Ice for to chill a bottle. Off season so this restaurant was closed (only access for Ice) front desk couldn't access the restaurant for ice. Ice is a basic hotel amenity. Not a deal breaker, we would definitely stay here again, but something they need to figure out, an easy fix versus sending me to the OXXO down the road. Also...wish the outdoor furniture was little more lounge. Chairs etc, outside not that great, but again not a deal breaker, it's a great place to stay!

We stayed in Casa Sinaloa. What a peaceful, beautiful setting. I love the wide open spaces and room to breathe and relax! Our house was beautifully designed. I loved water pressure in the shower was wonderful and the bed was beyond comfortable. The covered outdoor patio and wide open sliding doors made it easy to enjoy the scenery. The onsite restaurant made it convenient for breakfast/brunch, and the food was amazing.

Sadly, our jacuzzi/hot tub was not hot, which was a bummer and would have been nice to relax in after a long day of traveling. I mentioned it to the staff, but nothing was done, so perhaps it was not working. We were excited to use the fireplace each night to relax, but wood was only provided the first night. It would have been nice to have an automatic reset of the fireplace for each additional night we were there. While these are seemingly minor things, it would have made a world of our difference for our stay.

This hotel was spectacular! The interior aesthetic was on par with some 5 star hotels. All the natural light in the suites was amazing. The choice of sliding doors onto the patio and remote control drapes for evenings were small choices that stand out. The bathrooms were also huge with plenty of space. Can't recommend this place enough

No pools on property. The suite we booked had a small jacuzzi style pool but it isn't heated. Also no bathroom in either bathrooms in the suite. All of these are nitpicking because it's great here

Spacious and private suites. Everything was brand new and clean. The beds were super comfy as were the towels and sheets. I absolutely recommend staying here. The staff were super friendly and helpful. I can’t wait to come back again! I stayed one night, I wish I stayed 2! Close to Frida and King and Queens. Great place for a peaceful getaway. I stayed in the Casa Sinaloa suite with hot tub, next time I’ll try the room with private pool.

Nothing. Everything was amazing.

The houses and the property are stunning. High quality fixtures and furnishings. The restaurant area is also beautiful and food was excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful.

My main complaint is that the jacuzzi was dirty and inoperable. They said it’s only available in certain months, which doesn’t make sense and is not stated on the website. Also who wants yo look at a scummy unusable jacuzzi? Additionally, many of the houses are very exposed and have no privacy option other than shutting all the black out shades together. And some house had other strange details like the WiFi router and lamp taking up all the plugs on the bedside—why not put the router elsewhere in the large room? Just little strange things like that that felt unfinished.

Mexico en la Piel is brand new - just opened as of Jan 2022. The property is still clearly under construction and as we were driving up the very steep dirt road I was uneasy about the stay. However, the room was stunning. Beautiful floor to ceiling glass windows, with a lovely little seating area and fireplace (request firewood & a lighter to start the fire!). The private jacuzzi in the back of our little casita was absolutely wonderful. We had to request to have it turned on a few times, and also for them to turn off the colorful lights, but once they did watching the stars after dinner at was spectacular and one of our favorite parts of the hotel. I would book here again just for the private outdoor hot tub. We even saw several shooting stars (meteor shower in sag). Annette was our concierge and she was super attentive and helpful in booking additional treats for us, such as a couples massage in our room. The massages were wonderful and so lovely, and the convenience couldn't be beat. Breakfast was delicious, with generous portions. Good value for the additional cost. The location is fantastic - close to most of the vineyards and restaurants we wanted to visit, and the views from the little private valley that the casitas are located in can't be beat. I am looking forward to coming back with friends and seeing the progression of this lovely little hotel.

As a new hotel there are some growing pains - I think there can be some improvement with communication (for example we didn't know we had to pay the masseuses in cash, and went on a wild goose chase for pesos before being informed we could have paid them via PayPal. Additionally the spa not being on for the duration of the stay was something that most guests would expect in paying for this kind of accommodation. Having wine in the room as an option to drink instead of having to go to the restaurant to purchase it. Little details that will help raise the experience to reflect the beauty of the casitas will bring this hotel up to the 5 stars it aspires to be :)

Loved our stay in Casa Chihuahua. Casitas are well spaced out and feel very private. Rooms are stylish and feel modern and comfortable whilst retaining rustic Mexican charm. Grounds of the property are beautiful and views of the mountains from the bed / patio were fantastic. Great location in the San Antonio area, ideal spot to explore both Valle de Guadalupe and Ensenada. We had a couple of small requests (more hangers, firewood and water) and staff were very attentive. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

We were expecting a jacuzzi as it's listed in the room description on their website but they're not available outside of high season - it wasn't advertised on booking.com so just a minor confusion. Wardrobe could provide a bit better organized storage but there's plenty of space.

This is a long review, so if you want a basic review not this one. From the moment I booked my experience with them had started out really great. Annette got in contact with me asking if there was any kind of accommodations that I might need. The trip was originally supposed to be just an anniversary trip, but I decided to make it a proposal trip as well. I contacted Annette back and told her I wanted to do something special maybe some flowers or if they had any contact that could decorate the room a bit for me and she instantly got me in contact with a lady who is a florist/ event coordinator. She also got me on contact with the chef from their restaurant. The florist lady and myself came up sub an idea and executed it, the chef asked if I wanted anything special, but their menu looked really bomb already so let him know it was fine. Fast forward to the day of my trip Annette calls me and asks if I need anything for the decoration but everything was already planned. Upon getting to the hotel it had a really nice sign outside with some rustic copper gates, and an extremely nice security, an older man named Mario, very warm person, always greeting us when we got back from going out and told us to be careful and drive safe when heading out to do something. We got to reception, finally met Annette in person and just as in the emails she was very attentive to detail and very accommodating and just a very sweet and nice person overall. You can instantly see why she's in charge of setting up the guests, she has the thing for it. After checking in, they take you on golf carts to your room from reception, and it was pretty cool that they did that, you can call reception at any time day and night to get a ride to your car if you want to go do something. We got to our room and, IT DID NOT disappoint at all whatsoever!!! The balcony had a swing chair, a table that fit 4 and 2 lounge chairs, plus a kitchen style trash can which was nice to have.
