The property is very clean and can only be described as an oasis, a peaceful sanctuary amidst the bustling heart of the city. From its impeccable cleanliness to its super comfortable bed, La Estancia truly impresses. The service at La Estancia stands out. The staff is exceptionally welcoming and always ready to assist, consistently going the extra mile for guests. Location-wise, La Estancia is incredibly well-situated. It's a 3-minute walk from the vibrant pedestrian section, the lively town square, and countless trendy restaurants, this hotel ensures you're at the heart of everything San Cristobal has to offer. The hotel's restaurant is also a delightful experience for those passionate about good food. As someone who works remotely, the hotel's reliable and high-speed WiFi never failed and ensured seamless online work sessions. Lovers of culture and history will be excited to discover that both Santo Domingo Church and La Merced Church are just around the corner. Moreover, the closeness to Central Plaza & Park further enhances the appeal of staying here. If you're looking to venture a bit further, the hotel offers well-curated day trips to attractions in the vicinity. It's an opportunity you won't want to miss.

Good room, clean bedsheets, tv worked properly with channels in different languages. I had checked alot of hotels before choosing this one and they were all much worse. The hotel’s inside area is amazing, looks fantastic in photos. Own parking of the hotel is available which is super convenient. 5 minutes away from the main streets, a lot of restaurants around. We didnt take the breakfast but it was available at the low cost of 100 mxp. The hotel’s staff are all very nice and helping. Would recommend this hotes to others.

I had a spider with its big web in the corner of the bathroom and it was never cleaned (even despite me leaving tips). Towels were not white but already almost brown and seems used for ages. Could have been replaced, no? The walls are dirty and require painting. A bit cold in the room but there are blankets. The worst thing was the noise from the outside: every morning when the staff at 7 am outside began to speak or other guests arriving I would wake up. Poor sound isolation.

Great place to stay in a really really nice town. We loved our time here. The location is 5 mins away from the main pedestrian area where there are tonnes of restaurants, coffee shops, and clothing stores that sell quality artesanal products. It’s quite a busy place which is great but the hotel feels like a bit of an oasis once you go inside- a nice sunny courtyard away from the bustle of the town. The receptionist was very helpful in giving us recommendations and booking a couple of tours (we highly recommend Sumidero Canyon and Palenque)

Not much to dislike but if I must… the bed was too soft for us. Gigantic.. but too soft so slightly uncomfortable. Felt like I’d been sleeping with my legs elevated a bit.. but not a major issue by any stretch

We loved the property’s layout. Our room was comfortable but there also were many outside communal spaces for us to quietly enjoy. We appreciate breakfast on site when travelling and the hotel provided very good options.

We needed to ice an injury while at the hotel and we found it rather strange to have to pay for the small amount of ice that we required.

The breakfast was very good with a number of options to choose from including a good amount of vegetarian including quesadillas, muesli, and pancakes, as well as fruits, fresh juice and bread. The room was quiet with a nice view and a small balcony so you could have fresh air. It was a good size room. Nice hot shower. They provided a heater as sometimes was a little cold. There were plenty of blankets. Staff were friendly and helpful. It was a good location. if I came back this way would stay here again.

It was all quite good. The one thing I would prefer is if the top sheet was larger as it didn’t stay tucked in the bed.

The Estancia is a lovely. Great location. Lovely staff (Moises, the owners' son who runs the desk was wonderful). Having just travelled down from the Gran Hotel in CDMX, I can say that the beds here were more comfortable than the GH. And they were very comfortable. The whole place is classy and has been designed with care and attention. The new slow food/local ingredients kitchen, with Alphonso Robles, open Thursday to Saturday is a winner. Even if you're not staying there, you should go for this.

Nice hotel: courtyard, and room. Position : located just outside the busiest streets (walking distance), cleanliness. Parking is a big plus if you have the car. We didn’t try the restaurant.

We had a room at upper floor , with nice view / natural light . There are some rooms on the courtyard. Isolation (noise) could be improved, but not a big issue.

We had a great stay at the hotel! The staff is very helpful, we arrived early in the morning and they found us a room available. At the moment of checking out we could leave our bags until later in the evening. I really appreciate how helpful this was! The hotel is very nice and clean and close to the center.

Location is near everything. Short walking distance from main tourist areas. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Only ice available is from the bar. Paid $1.25 for a small bowl. Restaurant was nice. Service was attentive. Food was fusion Mexican and Italian. Not what I was hoping for.
