The staff is kind and helpful. The rooms are aesthetically pleasing while simple in its furnishing. Extremely helpful with getting the luggage upstairs. A beautiful view of a tree from our room and the rooftop had urban views.

The bedhead has a metallic frame and a mirror: pretty but made the bed less comfortable. Rooms can be warm: no air conditioning or ventilation. The stairs might be considered unsafe by international standards: I would be cautious with children in the premises. The rooftop has a basic roofing that makes the scape quite hot during day time: I would suggest some ceiling fans or better insulation.

Super accessible to the centro, coffee shops. Clean, and a good place to sleep.

Bathroom smelled like it had poor sewer ventilation. I would recommend bringing your own soap and shampoo as well. It is a bit hard to find the property as the entrance is through an alley.

Beds were great. Rooms are nice. Bathroom was fine either a nice shower.

It’s a 10 minute walk to main plaza but it was fine.

I liked how secret the hotel was, it was cool when I understood why it was named "El Secreto," its inside this alleyway. I was so confused when the taxi drop us off but he just told us to go inside and it was so pretty. I would really recommend this place. The beds are very comfortable and also its very clean. The staff are so nice and are always there to help out with anything even with questions about where to go. They also have this like roof area, its so calming to go there at night. We went during dia de los reyes magos so we ate rosca and just talked and relaxed. The whole point is that I really liked the hotel :D

Its a small hotel, so if you get rooms on the first floor, well your going to hear the people who enter but its not a big problem. Also you have to walk like maybe 10 minutes to get to the center and the tourist places which doesnt sound bad but a lot of it is going uphill. So its nice to keep that in mind. San Miguel de Allende is a small city so theres a lot of uphills so even if you dont stay there you would still have to walk a lot, so why not stay at "El Secreto Hotel" :)

Nice looking and clean rooms (as well as lobby). Rooftop terrace was very nice. Staff was very kind and helpful.

No safe; The little bathroom window could be drawn open from the outside (tho its probably to small to break in)

The room was lovely small but lovely with high ceiling, enough room for me.

It was just a little too far from the main part of the city for me.

Quiet location. Main attractions at walking distance. Uber driver knew the place but it would be clearer to have a sign on the main street indicating the location of the hotel in the alley. Clean room. Hotel staff was very helpful.
