This hotel looks so beautiful. It has a very photogenic courtyard and a spacious terrace with an amazing view. So many unique details, including the room key! The room (2 queen beds) was very spacious with plenty of surfaces where we could lay out our things. The room had a standing fan but we only used it for white noise. We stayed for two nights and while we were out during the day, the room was freshened up nicely. As busy as the area was during the day, the nights were quiet, at least no noise in our room (one window was facing the courtyard, the other one the alley). The staff were friendly and helpful. We didn’t try their restaurant, so can’t say anything regarding the food.

The hotel building is a magnificent colonial town house built around a spectacular courtyard. The location could not be better for old Taxco, with everything close to hand. Citlal, the owner, speaks excellent English and she could not be more helpful. She actually took us to a friend's silver shop, when we asked for advice on where to start buying silver amongst countless shops there. We didn't need to look any further! She also clearly takes great pride in her beautiful hotel, and well she should! It was great value for money and we would recommend it for anyone who wants character, style and views (from the fantastic rooftop terrace).
The room was extremely warm, but we are visiting Mexico in a heatwave, even by their standards!

The location is excellent. It is just a few minutes from the center to visit the Cathedral, market, churches, etc. The room is spacious for 2 people and clean. The top roof view is amazing. The hot water works perfectly fine. The bed is comfortable. Many restaurants are nearby. Free parking for us, but it is in a different location. The reception is nice and friendly. The hotel has great decorations and architecture. Wifi connection is stable.
Nothing.

Loved the space, beautiful old building rich in history, fountains and greenery around the property. The room itself was a great size for two. No air conditioning but an electric standing fan that cooled down the room. Overall clean, well decorated Spanish style, tiled bathroom with good water pressure and hot water. Walking distance from the central plaza and many restaurants and shops.
All was great.

Good location, really nice colonial decoration of the entire hotel, beautiful architecture. Kind employees.
We found wet and dirty towells hanging at the door's bathroom when we arrived. Problems with wifi at night. Little spiders inside the closet crawling in our luggage, they need to fumigate the bugs professionally. Things unacceptable in a 50 dollars hotel per night.

The hotel was so beautiful and the rooftop terrace amazing with 360 views of the city! Beds were so comfy too. The building itself was an old convent and had such charm. The arts and crafts they had were also very tasteful.
We had to swap rooms it was still nice but our first room was nicer.

Great location, safe surroundings and beautiful architecture. You really feel you are in a small town in Mexico and around the corner from the main square.
Water pressure was a bit low. Carrying suitcases up narrow stairs. Gigantic key (although it was social media-worthy). I didn't drink the water from the water pitcher in the room.

A beautiful place with an astonishing tree in the yard. lovely details all around and an impressive roof top terrace with a panoramic view! the rooms are very clean and nicely put, some have city view, all are equipped with nice vintage furniture. The staff was extremely helpful and reliable. we forgot some important things in the room and they did everything possible to get them back to us! not a single item was missing. communication was really great as well. It was the second time I stayed here after I discovered it some years ago, and I will always come back! best experience, highly recommended! 10/10

The location of the hotel was ideal, very close to many restaurants and the main plaza. The courtyard of the hotel is incredibly beautiful. It was such a tranquil oasis, and we enjoyed spending time on the rooftop as well to enjoy the beautiful views of Taxco. The rooms had traditional decorations and were clean and comfortable. My parents were particularly impressed with just how beautiful the historic building was.
There was some noise from the street in the mornings.
