My stay at Hotel La Joya was absolutely perfect. It was my first time to Pachuca and only for one night to attend a concert. The room was quite spacious and clean, the adjacent store and restaurant are fantastic and open late. But it was the staff at the hotel that made my stay memorable. Try as I might I still cannot converse very well in Spanish. Their kind effort and attention to my inquiries about transportation to/from the concert and help they granted me made my trip there a success. Having a Starbucks right across the street is surely an added bonus.

The staff was very nice and friendly, they went above and beyond to meet requests. Excellent location and includes parking.

Bets are squeaky, rooms are not sound proof, clean over all but dusty in some corners. Gym has very few equipment that seems old. Treadmill stopped working very 2 minutes and some of the other equipment with weights didn’t work at all.

The hotel was so nice and location was perfect that we actually added two more days to our stay. .The two extra days that we added included breakfast. Their breakfast was delicious. The personnel in general was super attentive and courteous. I highly recommend La Jolla.

There wasn't anything I didn't like.

It is called a 2 star hotel but had a good location and clean environment. It is a bit far from the city center, so it is quiet and there are many restaurants and facilities around, so there was no difficulty in staying.

There were two elevators, but only one was working. And it didn't work well. Elevator repairs are essential.

I liked everything about this hotel! We stayed here only for one night but it was probably the best sleep I had in a long time. Beds were very comfortable and also the pillows. The room was very clean! I am a bit of a clean freak and this place exceded my expectations. Staff was a bit quiet but friendly enough, the bell boy was super friendly and very helpful.

I suppose if they had a restaurant within the hotel would be nice but Samborns is right there so not much they can improve on, they were great.

There were not sufficient electrical outlets that were accessible in the room. This did not allow for both of us to work concurrently.

The hotel is nice in a great location near súper makers, restaurants, banks, etc

Breakfast service was great. Veronica and another lady assisting, WERE BOTH excellent! However, there was an older server who had somewhat of an unpleasant attitude.

Not that I didn't like but it would have been better IF BELL BOY OR FRONT DESK knew a bit more about a transportation service named KOLORS which stops in the parking lot of the hotel DAILY. I understand it is not part of your operation but as a customer service in the hotel industry, ONE MUST KNOW of all tourist services available for the Quality Inn guests. KOLORS and URBAN appear to be a nice alternative to the ADO bus service to travel from Pachuca to Mexico city for a more direct service instead of the bus which stops a lot!

Having worked with Choice Hotel's at one point in my 42 years in the Hotel Industry, I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel.....Also, I can venture to state that this property meets all the standards to actually upgrade to a "CLARION" franchise hotel with Choice. In my personal and professional opinion, it is at a higher level than a Quality. Enjoyed our 4 night stay very much.

The only bad experience was with the Sanborn's restaurant that is connected with the hotel.....their service is poor, lack of proper training for the servers, everyone is more worried about flipping tables and setting up than checking on their customer!

The room was great, clean, and spacious with fast WIFI. Amazing view of the huge murals of Pachuca! Great location at a 20-minute walk from the historical center.

Breakfast can be improved.
