Quiet and safe area of Guadalajara with great restaurants just 10-15 min walk away. Easy to get an Uber ride in to the city centre. Approx £5. Quiet neighbourhood, quirky place with real character and charm. Very comfortable beds. One very kind lady spoke excellent English and helped us so much, but if you don’t speak Spanish, then make sure you have Google translate downloaded. Helped so much.

Breakfast was continental and very sparse. A couple of bits of fruit and a cake, so we ended up heading out hungry and buying breakfast/early lunch in town. Could be improved, just by adding an omelette/eggs and toast as a choice.

This hotel is so very charming but the staff make it super special. They welcomed us and our dogs as if we were family. They provided great information about the area and helped arrange a private car to take us sightseeing. The morning breakfast was fresh and delicious. Great Coffee - amazing atmosphere and the warmest most amazing staff ever. We will be back!

Since I am a rental host myself these little things are just to help the property go from a 10 to a 10 plus. The marble used int he shower is slippery - I would suggest s rubber mat. Show pressure was inconsistent as was temperature - I think they need to check on plumbing issues as this is a historic older home.

My Spanish got worse as I got more tired throughout the week, but the staff was kind and helpful in communicating with me every day. We were in town for a wedding and they were able to let us in late both nights which was super helpful. Property was secure and beautiful, breakfasts were light and delicious. Bathroom is gorgeous and spacious. Loved having a little patio. Everything was clean and comfy.

The door knob on the inside of the bathroom came off a couple times but was an easily fixable problem.

A very authentic Mexican property. The staff were exceptional and really made our visit memorable. Would highly recommend this accommodation!

We were unfortunate to have other guests who were very noisy and inconsiderate - meeting in front of our rooms for chats after midnight and partying on the balcony until 2.00 am - so recommend you take ear plugs. During the week it was lovely and quiet but the weekend was ruined by this very noisy group.

The place is just perfect. You don't feel you are in a hotel, you feel home. The staff is amazing, really kind and nice people. The area around is residential, a lot of green, birds. The garden of the hotel is very peaceful. Recommend this place 10000!!!!!

Everyone was very attentive, overall the hotel is super clean and comfortable and price is reasonable

I can’t pick any situation that didn’t like but I could suggest to management to improve with some remote control for the garage so we don’t have to bother the staff every time I need to get out or in to enclosed parking space

Very nice location, very clean, very kind staff. It’s a mix between old and new.

Pool was very cold, gym is at the basement, which was dark and scary, but not haunted.

Absolutely beautiful place with friendly, helpful staff. The rooms are really tastefully decorated with modern furnishings and all of the communal areas of the property, its pool, outside bar, and garden, are gorgeous. I wish I could have stayed longer and will return again. Also definitely recommend walking from the hotel to the little Jardín del Arte de la Glorieta Chapalita park. There are some great restaurants here as well as a lot of street food vendors, live bands and musicians and artists selling paintings and handicrafts.

we could not control the hot water in the shower as it went from cold to very hot and it was very difficult taking a shower. one of the two sinks in the Presidential Suite bathroom, the water faucet did not work, we had to ask for shampoo, conditioner and lotion every day. The room did not have any Kleenex when we checked in. One of the drawer handles was hanging loose with one screw. We were expecting a much better accommodation on the Presidential Suite. Had we not paid in advance we would have most likely moved to another hotel.
