The property was beautiful. Lots of antiques and fireplaces. Some very quaint touches. The included breakfast was amazing. Alonso would make us pretty much whatever we wanted and it was delicious. And he was no nice and helpful. He gave us some tips of places we should drive out to. The rest of the staff were great too. It helped that the hotel was not busy during the week. They also took dogs and that was great. The area was super quiet for sleeping.

It wasn’t really walkable to too many eating places.

The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are spacious and clean. The breakfast was delicious. The attention of cleaning, dining and reception staff was exceptional

The only thing was there was a rooster singing at 4 am, but it wasn’t at all the hotel’s fault.

that has nothing to do with property. is just the roads and streets in Tapalpa are terrible so to arrive to the hotel is not that comfortable.

The suite was wonderful, clean, well planned, comfortable. Needed more coffee and sugar in the room, but coffee was great in the restaurant. The cook was friendly and courteous.

Yola was rude to me when I was ready to order my breakfast. Also, she had the audacity to go around me and enter my suite to talk to my friend (she did this twice), and I'm the one who paid for the suite. I consider her to be hipocrat and racist. Peopld like her should not work in a place where people from other countries want to stay at this hotel.

We love this hotel. The breakfast is great, the staff is nice, and we love that it is pet friendly so we can bring our dogs along with us. This was our third time staying at La Casona and we would consider it any time we travel to Tapalpa.

The beds were a little bit uncomfortable and the wifi connection was not so great at times. The price for the weekend is a little bit high when these things are considered.

The breakfast was delicious and the people that work there was so friendly. The hotel is very clean and I will be back.

Lovely decor and had a warm feel. Staff was friendly. Welcomed my small dog.

Our room was kinda small, and there was no tv in the room.

Large and very comfortable room. Fireplace with supplied firewood was a great addition. Large bathroom,large bed and classic decor.

Location in relation to town Center might be an issue for some, but if you enjoy a nice stroll, it’s perfect!

The customer service was very very good. The property was also very cutely decorated. I also loved the fireplace in the room and the location to the main plaza
