lots of hooks and a wire to hang your wet swimsuits, free drinking water, coffee maker, free parking in front of the house, shower with a view, good water pressurw, hot and cold water in the shower, comfortable bed (a bit hard), good wifi, owner was nice and offerd us suggestions for tours and food. he has a cat and a dog on the premises (they try to enter your room if you leave the doors open).

no comforter/blankets on the bed (we were a bit cold at night), noise from cars at night, construction going on next to the room starting in early morning hours, you have to pay for the ac, no fridge in the room. the location - this didnt bother us as we had a car, but if you rely on public transport this might not be the best option for you (quite far from Bacalar).

It is an absolutely amazing place near Bacalar. Perfect if you come with your own car, otherwise you have to take a taxi or walk (it's about 2-3km to the center of Bacalar). Rooms are very clean and beautiful, Cynthia (the renter) is very friendly. I extended my staying there because Bacalar is one of the best places in Yucatan (very calm, lot of nice bars and restaurants with a good vibe, not many tourists) and this accommodation was perfect.

The room has no aircondition, but it has smart ventilation, so it isn't hot inside. However, keep in mind that drying your clothes will be challenging due to high humidity, which wasn't a big problem for me.

Luis made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. He has taken a lot of care and attention for your little home from home. Even though the property is not in the centre of Bacalar, if you have a car this is a welcome oasis away from the club strip. We highly recommend you book Estancia Lapislázuli if you want that personal touch

I love the design of the room. the flooring, comfortable bed, bathroom, I love that there is a porch area for the room. Very calm grounds.

The owner, Luis was amazing! I am so grateful to him for being so available and helpful. He was very responsive to my texts, friendly, called a taxi for me and provided more than enough water which was such a relief. The style of the room was so nice, the fans are great, bed was comfortable and the place was clean. WiFi was so fast and it was fantastic to have a hot shower (keep in mind it doesn’t last super long). Beautiful little property.

The only negative things can’t be changed. There was a lot of road noise, being right off the main road and a rooster next door and dogs barking in the morning. There was a sewage smell late at night after showering but I just closed the door and it eventually went away after a few hours. You can hear next door pretty well so know that you can likely be heard. The place could probably use some rugs. Oh, the towels left a lot of fuzz residue.

loved everything about this place…such great value, big comfy bed and super shower and water pressure. also the wifi was really strong! the owner is really kind an accommodating. we ended up staying an extra 2 nights because we really liked the space.

not really a negative but I would say you need a car as it’s outside the centre but you could take a taxi or walk so not really an issue 🤷‍♂️

extremely helpful people, you instantly feel welcome from the heart, the rooms and outdoor facilities are great, especially the bathroom - they even thought of a clotheline - great

a bit far off, but you can rent bikes, or take a cheap taxi

We had a very enjoyable stay ! Everything is very clean and the staff is kind and attentive. For the location we had a car so everything we wanted to visit was within reach. Recommended 💯

Nice, modern, functional interior. Big bathroom, great shower with a 'nature window' which made one feel like you were having a shower in the jungle.

A small fridge would have been nice.

we really liked it! nice room, beautiful bath room, easy accessible and quiet. you can hear the street a bit, but it’s not bad at all. at least for us it was perfect. we arrived by car.
